And as if the fact that Mala didn't know of Tejawat's true colours when she married him excuses her cowardly behaviour. Please.

This is the way I saw the scene and I was fine with it. I expected her to defend mala but agree the timing could have been better. mala is a mother figure in paro's life and paro SHOULD be defending her . Basically its the same woman and both rudra and paro are seeing her with different perspectives ...both correct in their own way.

What I loved even more was when paro comes to apologise to rudra and puts the oil on his hand and says " all wounds can be healed , some take more time " . Beautiful scene , lovely dialogues ...

why was paro happy ??
because takurain masa she loves is going to be her MIL , irrespective of the fact that she left her son crying for years
takurain may be a wonderful person in paro's eyes , but then the revalation should shock paro , her reaction should be something is wrong , or what happened , anything but be happy
because not just rudra is sad , someone she loved caused it
so her reaction was shallow

i totally agree with you , She should have been shocked that the same person who was like a mother to her could abandon her own child not , not start smiling and becoming happy and nostalgic .
and when someone is crying and confessing something huge you have to be understanding not go into another track . it was completely weird .

I am sure Paro's experience with her made her defend Mala... but what harm her betrayal did to rudra was the crux of the moment... The moment he opened up to her about his pain is not the time to talk about mala's right or wrong...

I also thought it was a very thoughtless remark when Rudra finally found courage to share his pain...She could have done that later... But then again, she apologized... she said things without thinking too much... things like this happen in life !!! I am glad she apologized...

I completely agree with you. Specially @bold.

Paro used to say "what kind of a woman can leave her child?" and now just because the woman is her foster mother she's completely understanding about it? I agree she loves Mala and would eventually come to reunite mother and son, but Paro's perspective of Mala should have changed or altered even a little bit after she found out Mala is the mother that caused Rudra so much pain. Paro read Rudra's letters to his mother, she should think of the pain her soul mate went through because of dear Mala...she should weep for Rudra, not only because it kills her inside that she knows the woman who hurt her Rudra, but also because the woman she sees as a mother was such a terrible mother to another child.

How can it be? How is it possible? Her Thakurain masa...Rudra's mother...the mother who ran away...who created an angry and insecure child (w. Dilsher obv)...this is her Thakurain masa? But how? How could this be the same woman? How could she hurt anyone, especially her own son? Oh Rudra...*heart aches seeing the pain Rudra is in* Thakurain did this to her Rudra?? She's responsible for all this pain? How can it be? Oh Rudra...*breaks down seeing Rudra's pain and with the knowledge of who is responsible for all of this pain*

That is a rough idea of what I kind of expected from Paro. I'm glad you liked the apology scene. But let's just agree to disagree on all of this I guess. 😊

I will wait to see how the track unfolds as think somehow paro is going to meet thakuriyan soon . Maybe this will happen then ...maybe not.

I agree ..lets agree to disagree on this as we all have our way of seeing and interpreting a scene. 😊

Exactly!! the greater the height, the worse the fall.. If Paro had kept her Thakurain maasa on such a high pedestal, the revelation that she is the one who left her son for another man should shock her.. When Paro reacted the way she did to Laila-Rudra 8years revelation we all said its coz she is a village girl, her beliefs etc.. etc.. WHere have all those gone now when it comes to Mala.. Suddenly she is all understanding and cosmopolitan..

I personally donot condemn what Mala did but Paro's easily granted forgiveness is out of character.. And insensitive..
