Hey everyone, based on the current track, and after today's episode, I'm really disappointed with how cvs are showing Ballu. He has always been shown respecting women since the leap.He protected and defended veera against those men who were harassing her, and he always respected ratan.

But now after today's episode, I'm really surprised by how baldev is being shown. He was outraged that ratan, a woman is running for sarpanch. And he tried to protest the decision. 😭

This is not the baldev we used to know. He was all in support of women earlier. What do you all think?

I agree with you too. Baldev does actually respect women. He always respected Ratan and Veera and even Chaiji. I think what CV'S are trying to do is, that they want to display Baldev as a very bad person which is not the case. They probably want to show that apparently, Ranvi is the good person with the golden heart, whereas, Baldev is the person with the stone heart. We all know that deep inside, Baldev is actually a good person. All he wants is to be the ''sarpanch'' of the village. I feel bad for Baldev as not many are supporting him. Not even his own father.

I dont think he ever supported women doing the works done by men!
His MCPness has been shown many time in the past with respect to Veera also!
And his reasonings were indeed stupid but definitely not unexpected bcoz thats how he has been raised...all thnx to Bansuri who has always differentiated between a girl and a boy!
I wld have been really surprised had he supported Ratan's candidature 😆

You are right Mohini! They have shown this aspect of baldev.but since cvs have shown times when baldev has defended women, and respecting women, it's disappointing that cvs are showing baldev in this negative light. 😕

You are right! 😊 becoming sarpanch has always been baldev's dream and he is willing to do anything to achieve it. But instead of showing him taking the proper route, he is being shown taking the wrong path to achieve his dream. 😭

Baldev respects women but he has never been in favor of gender equality. He has always believed that women are meant for cooking in the kitchen. I'm not surprised at what he said today.
However, the latest spoilers which say that Baldev will indirectly try to harm Ratan's reputation have really disturbed me.

He wants to become the sarpanch.. And he wants to become one at any cost..
Also, I think he was always against the idea of women doing men's work.. So this shouldn't come as a surprise..

Lastly, the CVs have decided to turn him into a villain for few days.. Toh aisi bahut saari cheezein we will have to see ( Vishal ke liye )

guys its nothing new we have seen that he has some orthodox ideas when it comes to gender equality a couple of times already, that doesnt mean he doesnt respect women,he very much does respect them but its just the way he has been brought up, that too in the pind environment where it is considered the norm,so he is not really wrong here, he has still to warm up to curtain aspects of gender equality and he will, veera is there na 😉

@ Nami Smita and zainab I see what you all mean! That's true that baldev doesn't fully believe in gender equality, which is why he is not supportive of ratan running for sarpanch. Otherwise he does respect women. 😊
