Okay now, the main reason why I did not like the musical was because the musical failed to show the journey of Team D3 properly. To begin with, Swayam, one of the main leads, did not get a proper introduction. In fact, Swayam, Sharon and Rey did not even get solos. I feel this was extremely unfair as they are the main leads and have been pivotal characters in the journey of Team D3 in these 3 years. Moreover, there was no duet for ReYam , who have been pillars for Team D3 and also that of the show for the last 3 years. Not to forget that it was because of ReYam that Team D3 came together.
Another point I would like to mention is D3 began as the story of Kria. But after few months, she left the gang and college for certain reasons. After almost 2 years, she came back in order to help Team D3 get an affiliation from a foreign institute. She came back as a representative of the foreign institute who would guide them in workshops and perform with them. The main motive of the musical was to showcase Team D3's talent so that they can get the affiliation, so I would like to ask why so much focus on Kria in the musical? The musical should have been focused on showing the dancing talent of the team D3 members and not Kria. I am sure the foreign institute people already know about Kria's talent. So much focus on her on the musical was completely unnecessary. D3 began as the story of Kria, but in these 2 years things have changed, why was there no focus on these 2 years? Have the CVs completely forgotten about the last 2 years?
Anyway, I would just like to conclude by saying that the musical was a complete letdown because of the poor choreography and camera work and its irrelevance with the journey of Team D3.
