Hi Guys...
Let me start today by saying a bit about the dance...since I didn't really write much about it yesterday... It was like Cinderella's midnight ball...
Where she was asked not to go...for which she didn't have the the right clothes or the right shoes ...But a fairy Godmother came and dressed her up ...in fine clothes...in glass slippers and escorted her to meet her prince...He looked equally handsome...and when she entered the room...all heads turned...and the prince was mesmerized...just looking at the princess...
And then they danced...The prince totally lost in her beauty and she lost in his charm...,Her hesitation...calmed by the Prince's assurance that she just needs to trust him and follow his lead...he won't let her fall...So she trusted him...gave herself to follow his lead...The prince danced like there was no one else in the room but just the two of them...enjoying her closeness...taking pleasure in bringing her out of her hesitation...having the most beautiful girl at the ball in his arms...finishing the dance with her cradled in his arm...he bending over her...a picture of beauty and romance!!
And then the clock struck and the both got out of their trance...snapping into the reality...running away from the scene...taking a breather...But the fairy God Mother...didn't leave the Cinderella to go back to her rags...she wanted to help them further......she sensed the awkwardness between the two...came up with a plan to spike her drink ...recruited her husband and used her charm to play along...so that the shy couple can leave their inhibition...
When the plan worked...their hidden feelings came out...Both remembering their first meeting...was it the roll in the sand...and was it the chance meeting on the bus...The facts seemed all mixed up....all that was clear ...was that they were meant to be together...
But when the princess has a moment alone with the Singhs ...her most honest thoughts come out...she wants to rescue her prince....pleads with Mr. Singh to please give his job back...confesses that his job matters the most to him...and he matters the most to her...There is no misunderstanding...can Mr. Singh do it for her sake? There is nothing more she desires than that...He acknowledges and assures her that he will rescue the prince...
And then finally when they are going back to the room...and she decides to go for a walk...with her prince by her side...as her escort...she breaks her glass slipper....The prince picks it up...massages her foot...asks her with concern ...if she is hurt...she admits she is...but no more hurt than she was...when he didn't want to bring her along...He says helplessly...don't believe everything I say ( for I am haunted by my own demons ...my real enemies)..Tells her his real feelings...It hurts him to see her in pain... She reminisces about their first meeting again...tells him...,it hurts her when he is in pain...Her heart sinks...
He knows he is going where he has feared going...just as the last weak resistance says...he wishes he had never met her...
His words don't matter now...she tells him that she can see it in his eyes...what he feels...his love, his concern...the pain..she tells him that she knows that he is trying to push her away...but every time he does that she loves him more...
And
That's when he loses the last strand of resistance he has been holding on to!!!
