1. They are not friends. They were never friends. I doubt they will ever become friends. They debuted in the same year. One might've had a thing with Ranbir while debuting the other started after debuting. They've been pitted against each other since day 1. Despite their so called rivalry, Salman and Shahrukh were actually friends. They might've had problems now and then who knows, but until their big fight they were actually friends.
2. Deepika and Sonam are not big like Salman and SRK. They will never be as big as Salman and SRK. People want to talk about Sonam not being important or big enough, well Deepika isn't either. Deepika had a good year last year, she might have another good year this year. But there still hasn't been a single actress in current times who was big enough to hold on to the top spotlight every year. Before Deepika, Kareena had a big year and the world acted like no other actress would ever surpass her. She was the queen. Priyanka had a big year before and people acted like no one would ever be bigger. No one is as hot, as talented etc etc. Vidya had somewhat similar year, I say somewhat because she is not glamorous enough for most bollywood fans. So whether people like it or not, these actresses reign for short time. It might feel like Deepika will always be at the top but someone else will come around very soon. It only takes one or two hits. Salman and SRK are totally different. They have ruled despite hits and flops. It has been war of the King Khans for more than two decades now. They are always at the top of Bollywood.
3. Deepika has a new strong fanbase but Sonam doesn't have one. One of the reasons the SRK and Salman rivalry existed was because of the two strong fan bases.
This is a bullshit article. Actress rivalries have always existed. Kajol Rani, Kareena Deepika...this is not something big.
