Just because they come across, the bolded being the important part are they really like that.

I hardly noticed Deepika until last year. So far she has come across like she gets along with everyone, she is polite, well spoken, taken a fan to Filmfare, had the strength to and professionalism to work with an ex with whom she had a bitter break up. I do like her and admire her for lots of things especially the professionalism to work with an ex. But do I think she is a humble and nice person like she comes across now ? Absolutely not. I think the real Deepika is more like the one we saw on the infamous episode on KWK with Sonam.

I actually admire that she have the drive, ambition and inner strength to put aside her personal feelings against an ex and look only towards the box office. She took a fan to filmfare and gave her a nice experience. But it has already benefited her. So I don't think the image Deepika projects is real. I can say the same for Ash. She comes across as well spoken, humble and giggly. But is it the real her ? I have a hard time buying that because the public persona directly impacts their earnings.

Contrast that with a Kajol who says things like she won't work a lot because she does not want to dump her kids which comes across as offensive to working women. Someone like Ash would have answered that question much more elegantly, thoughtfully about how she knows she is lucky to have resources unlike so many working mothers and so on. I just can't believe Ash is more thoughtful as a person when she has spent a lifetime being careful about what she says.

The point of this rambling essay, call me cynical, but I'd rather believe the things that comes out of the mouth of celebs who have foot in the mouth disease and come across as arrogant than someone who is thoughtful about what they say. The thoughtful ones are those who are more conscious about their image and I am therefore cynical enough to believe that they are the ones who are less honest than the ones who don't care who they offend.

I almost said Deepika but she has her moments when she takes digs at other actresses. Even saying things like Ranbir's girlfriend has to deal with me and things like if Kareena is insecure about Saif I can't do anything about it..makes her seem rude. And to be honest she's more diplomatic and rehearsed when she's being humble comes off as very pretentious.

Kangana might be humble right now..but I read a couple of her old interviews where she has taken digs at top actresses. Maybe she has matured now and is changed but only time will tell.

only actress I have never seen take digs at other actresses and seems nice to reporters is Vidya. So my vote goes to her. I think Shradha Kapoor is very humble and down to earth too.

I love Sona but I think she made few digs at other actresses No? She doesn't seem humble.
