I've been too hung up on watching hindi movies lately that i decided to give my opinion based on the movies i've watched recently, or the ones that i can remember for being extremely tacky or poorly scripted. [mostly movies from 2012-2014]
(in no order)
1)Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola
[Trailer was bad enough.Especially that pink cow or buffalo,whatever it was,didn't make sense. How illogical. And movie? Not even worth 5 minutes of your precious time.]
2)Jai Ho
[Okay honestly, Salman khan is my fav actor but i think that his overpowering fame is downsizing his ability to act or produce a good script. Too cocky. Too many characters ripped off from Bigg Boss season 6. Too many serial actors/actresses strewn all over the place. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE actress. Heard that she was a choreographer, but all she did was impersonate Madhuri Dixit's dance steps and elegance which she obviously couldn't pull off. Her jokes and puns were absolutely tacky. Bad choice of lead actress,to begin with. Movie would've given out a better social message if Salman chose normal actor/actresses to play roles instead of bringing in new/unfamiliar faces. Tabu was the saving grace of the film and definitely the least laziest character. She should be credited for holding the lame plot together and giving her best performance compared to everyone else in the film.]
3)Rowdy Rathore
[I went to watch this movie in the theater instead of watching online because it was the only film that was on-screen at that time. And i like akshay kumar so i decided to give it a shot. And i was truly disappointed. Too much violence, lame dialogues. Sonakshi Sinha had NO role or whatsoever, raunchy item girls on "aare pritam pyare." Stupid lyrics, too much exposure but unfortunately a very catchy song. Wanted to leave right after interval.]
4)Agent Vinod
[Good songs, bad script. That's all i wanna say.]
5)Race 2
[Just because the actors are hot doesn't mean that the movie's hot too. Over-hyped and over-exposed. Unnecessary skin show especially by Ameesha Patel. She was reprising the role of a dumb secretary a.k.a Sameera Reddy who,despite being an average actress managed to justify her role. Ameesha Patel looked lost. Jaqueline Fernandes looked like a latino po*nstar. Deepika's sibling diabolical scheming with brother John Abraham was well portrayed. Great songs. BUT jumping off a parachute from a plane and still fighting mid-air? Have you heard of gravity? Stupid. Race was so much better.]
6)Chennai Express
[Yeh baqwaas tumhare dimaag mein kahan se aayi? Exactly. Big fan of SRK but he only makes one movie in a year which is usually highly anticipated. The least he can do is take up better roles which are more homely and realistic. Too many cars exploding, bad graphics, degrading south culture, poor jokes. Wished he made more movies like Darr, Dil Se, KKKG, Kal Ho Na Ho etc;]
7)Shootout At Wadala
[Seemed like a B grade movie to me.]
8) Krrish Series-1\2\3\
[I know i'll be hated for saying this but i absolutely dislike the Krrish Series. HR looks retarded in all of it(although that's somewhat his role.),but he went too over the top with his dance moves and facial expressions. -no offence to anyone. He may be favored by many but i just think that it was a complete waste of time. Immature script.]
9)Shudhh Desi Romance
[One heck of a confused director,actor and actresses. Actor's just running around in circles. Parineeti Chopra spends half of the movie in a live-in relationship,followed by escaping her own wedding with actor,and eventually going missing. Second half of the movie serves as leeway for the second actress who was rejected by actor in the beginning, and finally, actor goes back to Parineeti. Confused? Yeh i am so f**king confused that i'm unable to decipher what i just typed.]
10)Fukrey
[Very lengthy. Couple of immature schoolboys who failed class repeatedly attempt to make it to college by bribing some school peon for exam papers,end up scouting for money and leading into deeper shit with a female gundi. Bullshit. Complete bakwaas. Don't waste your time.]
That was just my opinion. In fact, i preferred watching Ghanchakkar, Go Goa Gone,Dabangg Series,Lunchbox, Barfi.
Please do share with me-the worst/best movies you've watched,your likes and dislikes. It could be in any year. These are all that came into my mind as i watched them not too long ago.
