This past week's episodes are really putting a dampener on the IPS training with BB at the academy in full form. Now my point begins with, it's alright to show BB there for an episode and listening to the orientation speech along with all the other families. But there comes a moment when Sandy has to show some evidence that she needs to be there and wants to get into it as soon as possible.
Her body language : How confused was I when no sooner she donned the uniform, she marched down the corridor oozing confident single-mindedness. Picked up the jewellery and handed it to Bhabo like it had nothing to do with her. She gazed at Suraj like she was the most confident person ever. Then standing in line at orientation, she crumbled. Her face showed misery while all her fellow cadets looked like they wanted to be there. Then she held the MRS SANDHYA RATHI name board up like she was a suspect in a police lockup lineup waiting to be jailed. Long before IPS Singh came and removed the extraneous letters, Sandy was a mess. Long before Bhabo expressed her shock at various rules and regs, Sandy looked defeated.
Then after orientation, in the room, she was unpacking with some reluctance. Maybe the presence of BB was unnerving her. Then that whole scene with IPS Singh and Bhabo arguing about Sandy's accommodation and having her own key while Sandy just watched them like it had nothing to do with her.
Looks like the CVs want to show that Saas can throw their weight around anywhere any time and get away with it. Even police officers have to listen to saas-bahu vachan problems. Saas_Bahu rules. If this week's trps rise, then it'll be interpreted that Bhabo not knowing where to say what is a big hit. She can be a rowdy and it's ok. Suraj and Bhabasa can't control her either. Just let her say whatever whenever to whomever and hope that others don't take offence. They try to show that Bhabo is 'strong' character who knows her mind and isn't afraid to say what she feels.
What about Sandy ? She's supposed to not show any strength of character? Not show her passion that dictated the main theme of DABH ? Not show that she can be respectful to elders but also draws the line where it should be drawn? What's the use of Suraj, the love of her life, who has adopted her dream, if he can't stop Bhabo from making Sandy's first hours at the academy a disaster?
No. All have to bow to Bhabo and let her run riot.
Why do I now feel that Bhabo is going to feature a lot more than I wanted. She isn't ready accept any part of the academy's rules and regs. She has a problem with EVERYTHING. I can see her calling the academy from Pushkar and checking up on Sandhya Beendani's status. She will also order Suraj to go there often. If Bhabo can march around there like she owns the place , she will think Suraj can go spend a few days with Sandy in her room. Agrima only said 'No Pati'. She didn't say no boyfriend.
There is only one way to stop all this nonsense. Sandy has to tell Suraj that it's time to say goodbye for eleven months and it has to start now. Until she shows him that she really understands why she's there and wants to get her training started, he will hang around giving her pep talks. Time to show her family that she is ready willing and able to start training. If not, I will have grave doubts about Sandy and what she really wants.
