I mean it's not like Meenu was on her deathbed calling out to ira before her last breath or something.

Its just having a baby. And there were no indications of complications either.

Never mind the taangewala etc... what if Ira had tripped and fallen at home itself because of too much haste?

Tinoo... we women understand this matter but not men. He got panicked seeing Meenu in labour which is not his fault really...😆 He perhaps had never seen a woman in labour. His only support was Ira, so he asked her to come not knowing what to do with Meenu. At such times, a woman does need another woman... not a man and certainly not a crackpot like Alok 😆

Anyways, I don't have problem in Meenu calling out Ira. A woman in labour might shout anything, but what about Alok? Why did he run to call Ira? He knows Ira's condition. He should have calmly told Ira to take her time and come to hospital. Whats up with Ira !! This is her third pregnancy and she knows nothing about being careful !!! 😲

@ bold bricks watever u told is rght but to do dat one must have little bit of commom sense rght😉 ...aree have u seen ever alok( being head of family) handled any situations carefully &indpndntly..😆

The era was 1980s and surely we had taxis, autorickshaws and good roads by then. We're talking of Udaipur, not some village or small town. So can't exactly say that roads were like this only and there were mainly tongas and cycle rickshaws.

Just watched the episode. It was neither foolish nor selfish. It was a nice episode with the sequence of events nicely depicted.

I dont blame Alok at all. That he should not have called Ira is right, the nurse was telling him again and again not to call her. But he cant be blamed for it. Ira and Meenu shared a close bond with each other and it was Meenu who wanted her besides her. so he asked her to come.

Meenu gave away her son because she felt responsible for what happened. it looked very much natural for Meenu to do that. What looked unnatural was that she did not take Anup's opinion in this whole drama.

What was utterly foolish was the precap showing ganga running to the bathroom to throw up...

If CVsare planning to end her character let them do it fast instead of torturing us with such silly mahanata like a woman hiding her pregnancy when she knows her own life is at risk..

No need to glorify such fake martyrs ... who cares anyways?

i have to say the story behind all this was unreasonable. the cv's ruined this bit. couldn't they have a better reason.
i'd understand if meenu decided to give her baby away if:
ira had a NORMAL accident (car crash), lost her child, alok begs meenu to give baby to ira as he cannot see her grief EB's her and sayshow they'll take better care as there is two of them (anup had already died), meenu feels bad that her child wldn't get both parents' love so decides to give it up.

no meenu calling for ira, alok panicking over it and actually calling ira!!

this would be a little more believable but anup was still alive, proof, mahi so how could have the cv's made meenu's decision to give up the baby reasonable...????...🤢

Raz, that is not the issue under discussion here.
It is natural that Meenu wanted Ira there.

The question under debate is whether Ira should have risked her own pregnancy to get to Meenu's bedside. When she was already in a fragile condition herself, she should have weighed at what cost her rushing to Meenu's side might come at.

Okay, she fell off the tanga at the last minute. But a miscarriage could just as easily have occurred ON the tanga too. I mean cars have natural shock absorbers and all sorts of gadgets for bracing, which tangas will not have.

its not that..but IR showed key words where Ira sat scared on the bench thay she promised to take care of Meenu in Anyplace absense...also that means she was not at the full term of he rpregnancy

can't blame the characters as they all were right with respect to their position.
but this entire episode doesn't make any sense, what happened to meenu or ira's parents or any other relatives..or house helpers...utter nonsense ..they didn't have any maternal/hired help in the house or hospital with two heavily pregnant ladies 🤢 no body would allow a 9 month pregnant lady to travel alone on her own or in labor pains alone atleast in India in a joint family...what kind of husband was anoop to have left his wife like that without proper arrangements done...may be he didn't even know that she was pregnant ? and how could meenu give her baby to alok without checking with her husband ? seems illogical.

yeh anoop ka raaz ab gehra hota ja raha hai 😆 guess this is what CVs want.

i felt something only for ira ...what a fall she had...gosh that must have been so painful.
