I feel the fault was ira's. When the car's wheel got punctured and the driver said it would take another 15 minutes, then she should have waited for another 15 minutes.

I can understand Ira's haste only if she were herself Meenu's obstetrician or nurse required there to medically deliver Meenu's baby. REQUIRED.

If it is just in a family support role, then the whole haste of ira seems quite ridiculous.

I would not have undertaken that sort of journey in ira's condition. I would have consoled myself that Meenu was in good condition under the stellar care of caring nurses and doctors. (and they showed that the nurses and doctors there were caring for Meenu very well).

The driver said 15 minutes. He didn't say three or four hours. He had a spare wheel

Really Ira was as foolish then as she is now. There seems to have been no growth in her capacity to gauge or assess or weigh decisions against outcomes.

I mean it's not like Meenu was on her deathbed calling out to ira before her last breath or something.

Its just having a baby. And there were no indications of complications either.

Never mind the taangewala etc... what if Ira had tripped and fallen at home itself because of too much haste?
