I'm glad you like it. 🤗 I am not used to writing religious fanfictions, but I will try to do one and see how I feel about it. 😆 Yeah, both RSR and ASR made Luv the naughtier child, so I've always imagined that he'd be Ramji's favorite because of his resemblance to his beloved Lakshman, and of course any child who resembles Ramji in any way would be Sitaji's favorite. 😉 I badly want to give Ramji a daughter too (a daughter who is the replica of Sitaji ☺️), but that would be too much even for me. I cannot create characters after all. 🤣

I am also imagining Shurpanakha's first meeting with Ramji while Luv and Kush are present. I am imagining Luv giving impertinent remarks to Shurpanakha and Ram trying to scold him to be polite (but failing since he cannot ever scold Luv). 🤣 Shurpanakha's seduction would have failed even worse than in the original, rofl!

I am also imagining how our naughty Lakshman chachu would have corrupted his little nephews to keep his bhaiyya and bhabhi on their toes. 😈

It was OK. I'm actually really nervous. I want the job but don't know how they feel about me. The interviewer was a very strict and serious lady. 😕

Here is one interesting thought. If Luv Kush had been born during Aranya Kand, how different would the rest of the epic be?

After all, Luv and Kush probably wouldn't have followed Ramji when he chased the golden deer, right?

One of them could have followed him and one could have stayed back with Sita and Lakshman. They would both be 13 years old and being the children of Ram, they'd obviously be just as knowledgeable and talented as their father in warfare.

Let's say Ramji's favorite Luv would have accompanied him to catch the golden deer. Kush stays back with Sita and Lakshman. So when Mareech calls out in Ramji's voice, Sita sends Lakshman to protect his brother (like in the original). Here, Kush remains back with Sita, so there are two possibilites.

1) Ravan comes up with a way to distract Kush.

2) He kidnaps Kush along with Sita since he doesn't think a child can do him much harm. Also, he feels that he can hurt Ramji more by taking away his wife and son.

If Kush went along with Sita to Lanka, would he have fought with Ravan to protect his mother? Would he have been able to defeat him, or would Sita have told him to lay low and stay in the Ashok Vatika with her, so they can wait for their husband/father to come and rescue them?

If this happened, then Kush could have proclaimed Sita's purity to the Ayodhyavasis, since he was with her the whole time, so would Sita's exile have even happened?

There are SO many possibilities!

I will start off with something mild - Ramji's reactions to the birth of his children in Valmiki Ashram. Yes, Luv and Kush are still born in Valmiki's ashram, since Ram, Lakshman and Sita stay there for one night before starting their vanvaas, remember? In my story, after Bharat leaves Chitrakoot with Ramji's slippers, Sitaji finds herself pregnant and so Ramji postpones their trip to Panchavati, not wanting to tire his wife out. He takes her to Valmiki ashram since it's nearby, and there the three of them stay until Sitaji gives brith. After the naamkaran of the twins, the trio resumes their journey to Panchavati.
