Ram Leela is a terrible film - Page 2

im not a ranveer fan but i thought he was good in it because in his other films ive seen it seemed like he was playing himself almost and the dialogue delivery wasnt that great in his past films. in ram leela i noticed a lot of improvement. his voice modulation and delivery was really good imo. and the character was over the top so i think he did a good job. and the quickness of the story was because it was based on romeo and juliet which i also said in another thread.

Agreed. It was waste of time and money for me.

Meh, the story has already been done to death a million and one times. I wished they would have shown Ram and Leela atleast knowing each other as kids and again meeting as adults for their Lust at first sight drama.But I loved the acting and the ensemble cast.

i was hoping they would change the ending too since we knew what the ending was gonna be since its based on Romeo and juliet but if they had showed them living happily it would have been a bigger surprise for the audience and i would have liked that ending just as well. it wouldnt have been as dramatic though

Yeah agree with Deja vu, the first smooch meeting seriously din't seem as the first meeting. I thought may be they knew each other much before, but later realized that indeed was their first meeting. And dude the so called princess of sanedo is kissing a stranger from Rajhadi community and no one manages to see it. And the misunderstandings between them haven't been clear till the end like "Leela still assumes it was Ram who had sent that message to the Rajhadis about her whereabouts(the next day of honeymoon), And who shot Dhankor(was it leela's buas son or was it a ploy purposely set up by Dhankor and him) to rile up leela against Ram? And Ram still thinks it was Leela who passed the orders to kill the people of Rajhadi, that still remains unsorted.
