card very blatantly. she needs to be careful. media

is no ones friend. only money matters to them and

the other heroine aint paying them any. she doesnt need to.

But c'mon it was a dumb move on that other actor's part to open fire at the media. The two entities need each other to survive...not really DP'a fault to take advantage of that.

Only Subhash jha who does Kat's PR wrote that it was a publicity stunt.Others were very careful to say that Deepika dropped out for HNY & FF for which dates were already locked(that includes Masand) .

I am quite sure that she wanted to dump the imtiaz film...I have already posted this long back to crazens..i can ask them to post it.My clue was the Bharthi Dubey interview in which she said that she was reading 2 scripts.When she talks to top journos ,she always sends a message to the industry ppl(i could be a good jasoos).That was the reason for ranbir's attack with the 5 yr boy quote.It was most unlike him.first time ever he was rude to Deepika!

Now ofcourse He is happily talking abut DP doing the film..so all is well

DP was certainly signed or almost signed..media could have easily called the bluff..

Vin Diesel is treating fans to images from the "Fast & Furious 7 set. One image features Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris. This film is currently shooting on location in Atlanta, Georgia. Check out the images.

Here is the storyline for the action/crime/thriller.

After Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew helped take down Owen Shaw, his brother Ian Shaw now wants revenge.

"Fast & Furious 7 will open in theaters on July 11, 2014. The film stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Paul Walker, Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Deepika Padukone and Tony Jaa. Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel will produce, while Chris Morgan wrote the screenplay based on characters created by Gary Scott Thompson. James Wan ("Insidious: Chapter 2) directs.

Media wale deepika ko chane ke jhad pe chada rahe hain. Jaise katrina ko once upon a time chadaya tha. And she has been always bold the type of movies she choses to type of charecters. Even I saw the trailer launch . Deepika was trying to take control. As she is senior in the movie . Till now it was srk , ranbir or akshy who were running the show . Lets see who runs the show during pramotions. Ranveer is natural peoples person.

I dont buy that DP getting the offer to do the film and she turning it down all happenned in one week. HW films are planned in advance. They wont expect actors to drop everything and do their film. And all this seems to have happenned just a week or two before shoot started.

I also dont buy that DP isnt interested in Imtiaz's film. It was hard fought and deservedly won role. Any other actress will do anything for it. DP isnt stupid to let go of a role opposite the country's young superstar in a romantic film.

I agree with this point .media is nobodys friend. They have not even left ace actors like ashwariya and rani in there bad times.

I think her schedule was in 2014...the Indian media has taken pains to write that it starts in october..Why would she scarifice HNY for F&F 7?

Is NukeTheFridge a blog or what? 😆 As far as I am aware, DP's name was not picked up by ANY major tabloids. In fact wasn't her name doctored in one of VD's quote? Eeeks.This film is slated to release in July 2014, so they most likely had dates planned well in advance (my guess is as early as even before FF6 released). So when she auditioned for it, she had no idea that this MAY clash with her other BW commitments? That's so hard for me to believe.

@ light_year...ab Akshay aur SRK ke itne bhi bure din nahin aaye that they can't run the show. 😆

Meena Iyer works as DP's personal PR agent. She wrote that DP was signed.. not approached or considered or being in talks.. for Fast and Furious. ANd in the same article she wrote that DP and her PR was not available for comment. Does Meena Iyer have a direct phone line to Universal Studios that she gets the latest scoop even before DP comes out to confirm it. Obviously it was a PR exercise.. hoping to divert attention from Dhoom3 trailer and Ranbir's interview.
And Deepika was confirmed for Imtiaz Ali's next in the first week of July or so. Much earlier than the FnF drama. SO, the question of her debating between Window seat and FnF doesn't even arise.
