Well, Anandi maybe a people pleaser but who made her so? HER dear PARENTS

My biggest gripe with our society is that the ones who spout out the edict that "a girls true family are her in-laws" are usually the biggest tyrants of all.
Girls parents drill into her impressionable mind that you are a girl and you have to endure all, suffer all and make the new home your own home...be "sanskari bahu"!
Fine I have nothing against being sanskari & following rules. But they shd be taught what is good and what is bad. One has to be taught how much to endure and when it is time to say ENUFF and take charge. *(This can happen with proper education only).

I remember Aji's mom telling her...lado jaise vo rakhe vasee hee rehna...you have to placate and please them come what may 😡. When she ran away from DS's torture chamber coz of her atrocities Anandi was promptly brought back and handed over to Bhairon & DS. WHY?? Coz that was her real home 😡
Many girls parents still spout this hypocritical shiite. And the wonderful sasural think its their God-given right to persecute their DILs ( DS pretty much fell in this category...she was mean, rude and obnoxious not only to her dil's but to their parents). Thank God good sense prevailed & DS changed but in real rural India things are still pretty bad. These so called sanskari bahu's explode and break off or self-immolate pleasing the tyrants sasural walle. 😡
I really don't know how many of u have seen /visited real village spent some time working for their betterment ...I have been there... done that... worked with them for a few months and the picture is very grim there.😭 There still exists a society where a woman is treated as a housemaid, a doll to physically play with. A sixteen yr old innocent girl is made to marry forty yr old divorcee, where woman is not allowed to undergo salpingectomy (tubectomy) even after five kids till she gives birth to a BOY, where sex determination & female infanticide ( killing of female fetus) is still prevalent. We really need many more bhaili like organization to protect and save women. WE have to first educate them and empowerment will follow. WE have to teach them self respect, self preservation , confidence & courage to rise..!
Not to miss ...the torture that goes on in the name of ladki ka asli ghar uska sasural hota hai is sad 😭. In real world there are hardly any BS, DS or Shiv's for helpless Anandi's & Ganga's

However much "confident" a girl may be but to break the mold and be successful she does need hand holding, backing and support ( here I'm talking only about villages). YES! I'm talking from experience...I have worked with them & for them...no soapiness and dreaminess here. Whatever you might say Aji sure needed a BS otherwise till today she would have been pleasing and oiling DS's head & feet 😛. Ganga owes all her independence, support, growth to her dacter sa JAGdeesh. If J would not have rescued Ganga she still would have been debating abt the badness and meanness of Ratten and would have been crying around. I'm strictly talking abt rural india here. You & I both know that Jaitser we see in BV is not real village oops newly made district 😉.

But as far as sehri Sanchi's education is concerned ...girl has no interest in studies . Maybe it did not come out in the serial 🥱 but there are many Sanchi's from maddern India who have all the resource and help but are just not interested in books & education. Sanchi just wanted to get married & seeing Docter J her wish became her desire😉. So I would give it up to J her finishing her MBA. 😳

Well, coming back to girls's real home "sasuarl" & devi roopi MIL...Aji is one lucky girl ...first she got sane Sumi then now Ira (hold on read on without jumping out of your seat😳) we may all have issues with Ira but we cannot deny that she has brought her son up very well. He is respectful of women...she has shown him women are worthy of respect and love, that in most areas of life there is equality and no difference in what women and men can do and each can accomplish. She sure has churned out a REAL MAN 👍🏼 but unfortunately same cannot be said about her darling daughter Sanchi.
The message that is coming out of this is loud & clear have just one kid coz you can only raise one well. With divided love & attention parents get divide and mess up big time lol😛😆

As far as Aji pleasing nature goes...She got Shiv coz of that only. He pleasingly fell for her hook line & sinker.😉 Aji is symbol of true woman that's why she is more patient, more tolerant & more strong! 😃
But I'm glad today he is giving her a equal chance to expand her wings.

Tina di❤️...super post and a thought provoking one!

Yes the rural India is not even remotely close to how progressive Jaitser and Jaitsarwaasis are now...why just the rural, even the urban India lives in fake pride of being madarn...I get appalled when even today, people crave for a boy more than a girl...when even today, asking for a divorce will be questionned time and again by the society🤢
One point that I saw and m quite pissed with is that even after being graduates and specialising in various fields, girls are not allowed to work <<and this inspite of being part of well off families with 32895629 cooks and 23490572058 domestic help>>...one is restricted to being a decorative piece or an ornament for the family - and its not the girl's choice🤢

On Ira - I truly feel that S has been brought up by CM in his growing up years...yesterday was a testimony to that😉😆 CM really seems to be his mom for all intents and purposes...and no, no Alok-CM connection😆, just that he has all her qualities😛😆

A BIG BIG 🤗for you for making this post...you are just so amazing ⭐️...it's all about sasural for Anandi and yes it's the thinking her parents engraved in her that led her to this...perfect message for BV...bring up only one child...Sumitra-Bhairon made a mess up of Jagya while Sugna turned out to be good and same goes for Ira-Alok...hope now Anandi will think twice before saying she wants to kids 😉 😆
Agree with you...bringing up Shiv is the best thing whole Shekhars clan had done till now (i would give more credit to Meenu than Ira when it comes to Shiv)...but i would say some credit also goes to him staying away from mad house due to his stuides

OMG craving for BOY ...it is prevalent all over the globe I feel. Earlier i used to get upset with Desis but now 😡 . My Mexican colleague is following a Chinese calender to conceive a boy. My cousin who is a cardiologist is sane but his wife who looked sane and pretty wants a boy. She calls & shares details from her how to have a boy manual. 😡 She is blatantly honest abt it...YES! Mujhe ladka hee chaheye...so now what can you say?! And I'm surprised at her doctor hubby who complies and follows all the direction. Does not say anything but I'm sure he too wants a boy that's why he is not disagreeing with her. Mind u he has a voice and a good one when he wants.

Well, not allowed to work ...that's why I feel women shd raise their kids properly. If women teach their sons to respect their wife's and tell both son & daughter about gender equality. Things will be different today.
In many well to do families ...parents say areee iski tho shaadi karni hai so that get's into the girls system & many a times she just does not want to work. Then if a boy is raised with this mind set ...my sister has to get married & go so same way he does not let his wife work coz this ideology is ingrained in his system... we have to change our thought process. I have seen many of my friends don't let their sons put dishwasher nahi bartan nai KYON???
So we as women have to raise out kids well & we'l surely have a better equal world.

But Hiral having said that there is other side of the coin too. All girls are not Devi. We have the most unconventional Mallika Sheravat scaring the living daylights out of guys & girls with her statements. If boys can have we too can have N number of extra marital affairs 🤢
Divorce is really debatable topic. Many maddern girls are filing for divorce on the basis of INDEPENDENCE & EGO. Boys are no Ramas. But it always takes 2 to fight.

I feel men have to bit more patient and caring and women shd never compromise on their compassion meter. If we are more strong ...God only gave us that extra strength. God gave us capacity to bear a child & undergo labor pains, ability to nurse the baby & spend our life to bring up her own flesh & blood...!! we can only be proud of ourselves👍🏼

Most people have a grip that anandi cares more for the singhs than her own parents but fact is anandi spent more time with the singhs than her own parents the bal vivaah did that, initially it was tough but then she made her place, had it been a normal situation where Anandi got married much later she would have taken time out for her own parents like she does for the singhs now that she's married into the shekkars. If it wasn't for sanchi she also wouldn't drop down to jaitser as much as it would have been reduced due to her involvement in social work and the shekkars. Anandi is luck to get two good inlaws minus one or two people she has made her place in family members hearts.

Tina a well said post. As long as the thought process of the common people ( including our selves ) doesn't change, nothing much can be done.
