So far..yes! she has overshadowed her heroes..I think the best thing is how she overshadowed the leads of LVRB and that definitely proved that the girl has some talent.

The comparison needs to be fair. Consider the age and stage of their lives and careers when Rani/Vidya/PC did the films you mentioned and consider Parineeti's age.

Parineeti is I daresay, much better as an actress at this early stage of her career than many others.

I just hope she does not keep sticking to YRF and ruin her career the way Rani did. She must break out of YRF!

Actually I wasnt trying to compare her with Vidya etc...What I meant was that she has proved that she has some talent but IMO still hasnt proved that she is ''exceptionally'' talented.

Parineeti is definitely one of the few good actresses in Bollywood right now.
I hope so too..She must explore and work with different directors 😊 Most of YRF characters are kind of predictable now.

I like Parineeti but she's so repetitive.

The roles that she has been doing ever since she debuted are pretty similar and seem to be an extension of her real self, offscreen. Even in SDR, it's obvious from the mere promos that she'd be able to pull this one off too..because it isn't anything different for her. She was the best performer in Ladies vs Ricky Behl but I find her performance in Ishqzaade overrated. I liked her, but I felt Arjun's character was more challenging and he did a decent job...yet Parineeti walked away with all the praises. Then the whole National Award recognition she received...not too sure what that was all about.

I'd really like to see her do something different for a change..but I doubt we'll see that happening anytime soon as her next films seem to be nothing different. I don't think she steals her costars' thunder or anything..she's just constantly doing something she's basically a pro at now...it's as if she does the same thing but with different actors in different films, at least thus far.

Parineeti is an effortless and consummate performer. When she is on screen she automatically demands the audience's attention. People still talk about Kareena's JWM performance, which was similar to Parineeti's roles in her three films. So, it is not as if acting like a fire-brand on screen is a walk in the park.She deserves all the praise that she gets and more.

I find her utterly adorable on screen and think she has wonderful screen presence and charisma; that's something that can't be learnt, but is an innate quality. I'm not surprised she has overshadowed her co stars to a certain extent. Although from the bits of the film I've seen it seems Sushant also makes an impact - they seem to have great chemistry with each other in SDR.

I like her acting, and I enjoy seeing her on screen, but yes she tends to be given roles that are effervescent and lively...because that's close to what she is I guess. Give her time and different types of roles and she will grow as actress - she has the potential.
