Yay - 11th thread!!!

So my soap marathon is on - finished Gustakh Dil - confrontation between Nikhil's family and the couple - well...errr - only the bride because the groom decamped at the first opportunity (why am I not surprised - I've always pegged him as a shoot first, regret later type of fellow).

So now we have haughty mom joined by snobby nani trying to kick Laajo out. My gold standard for OTT reaction to secret marriage is Iss Pyar Ko where when Arnav and Khushi secretly married we got -

1. Khushi slapped by her aunt

2. Khushi disowned by her entire family

3. Arnav's hysterical nani has a medical emergency

4. Anjali pouts and pouts till her lips are at bursting point

All this for a wedding between two people who had known each other and whose wedding was being planned anyway by family members😆

So yeah - Gustakh Dil - not even close to that level of melodrama.
