Haseena-bi Insult: who is at fault?

I'm very sorry if a similar topic has already been posted.

I keep reading about how everyone's upset with imran & even more so with najma for the insult that rashid & asad's family had to suffer from the absolutely rotten Haseena.

But wouldn't you say that zoya & asad are equally to blame for this.

Zoya: for pushing this through with only najma's feeling in mind and in a way exerting her influence over asad without thinking about his feelings for his other sister, nikhat.

Asad: for not paying more attention to his instinct (which was spot on about nikhat's feelings). He should have explained to najma and waited to have a proper heart to heart with nikhat before proceeding to meet imran's parents.

I'm just appalled that he did not once think to ask nikhat why she broke off the engagement. No one in asad's family did, not even the usually smart & sensitive zoya
