Ania, yep..Farhan talked about it. He's producing Dholakia's film..and some other new directors. He might have those scripts for SRK too. I think SRK is offered or hears about most of Excel's films.

Well, the association with Farhan is definitely a good sign. I've seen some of Parzania (Dholakia's movie) and it was a quite serious movie. I hope the script offered to Shah ain't as solemn or serious...or else, it will scare away ppl from theatre. Most ppl don't like to watch sad/serious movies. I want something that will appeal to a larger set of audience. Hopefully, that's how this Gujrat smuggler script is...

Chennai Express has grossed Rs 282 crore in just 8 days since its worldwide theatrical release on 8th August, to become the fastest money-spinner of all time. The Shahrukh Khan starrer will be the third film to cross the 300 crore worldwide mark, after 3 Idiots (385 crore) and Ek Tha Tiger (330 crore).

Chennai Express is almost certain to go past Ek Tha Tiger, but the 385 crore set by Rajkumar Hirani's 2009 classic could be beyond reach.
