Hi Friends,
She remembered when she saw him for the first time. She was on the dance floor and unexpectedly this man appeared firing in the air and she froze looking at him. But she had no time to think. She somehow escaped from the party. And later it was him who saved her from Arjun.
Both of them snapped out of their thoughts when they reached Aisha's place.
There were many things that were going in her mind. Aisha thinking, "Sameer blamed Arjun for Roshni's death. So he knew Roshni. But how? And he too seemed to be hurt. Why? What was the connection between Sameer and Roshni? He was so rude to Arjun but then was guilty too and left Arjun alone. Because he very well knew that that is all Arjun needed the most at that moment. To be alone. And whom were they talking about? Someone Sikandar? Now who is Sikandar? Arjun claims that Sikandar killed Roshni, but Sameer said Sikandar is just a name. No one has seen him and he doesnt exist as per the records. What is this all about?"
She went out to get the medicines. When she came back, she saw, Sameer standing on terrace of his apartment. It was raining and he was fully drenched. His wound dressing too was drenched and blood oozed out of it.
Her heart went out for this man who was so much in love with a girl that he sacrificed his own love for her happiness. Her wish mattered a lot to him.
Arjun is fighting for getting justice for his wife. But this man is fighting to get justice for someone with whom he had an unnamed relationship.
Sameer(to Aisha)(picking up his holster and wearing it): Mai aur Arjun bahar jaa rahey hain... tum log bhi apna kaam khatam kar ke nikal jaana... Bye...
In the hospital, the doctors operate Sameer and take the bullet out but there has been a lot of bloss los and doctors have started the blood transfusion.
That is when Aisha, Shree, Chhotu and Liza reach there.
Doctor tells them that next 48 hours are critical for him.
Sameer smiles. He looks at each of them and then looks around.
He was overwhelmed by their love.
Around same time, Shree, Liza and Chhotu are teasing Aisha, that now Sameer is fine, they can move ahead in their relationship. Aisha too blushes remembering how Sameer proposed her.

So without wasting time, here it begins.

Finally he was relieved. She had done a great job and he appreciated that. He sent Chhotu to get local police to raid and seal Jojo's place and waited for Aisha to come out of Jojo's place.
A little while back he was tense and worried about Aisha. Not that he doubted her skills as police officer. He trusted her. But somewhere deep down his heart, there was a soft corner for her. He knew that she can handle such drug peddlers on her own tactfully. She had done it in past in her undercover mission for 8 months. And it was during that case, their paths crossed, when and NRI student fell in love with her and went missing and his case came to ETF. But still he wished to be there with her. This time he had no choice but to let her go alone.
He remembered when he saw her for the first time. He entered the rave party venue and fired in the air and he saw her on the dance floor. She froze at this unexpected attack but within a few seconds, she managed to give ETF a slip and vanished in thin air. Later he saw her when she was at Arjun's gunpoint, when he stopped Arjun from shooting her.
They joined hands to solve the case and a big consignment of drugs was caught. Looking at her skills, she was included in ETF and now she has become an integral part of the team.
He was really pissed off when he heard that Jojo had a doubt on her and wanted to frisk her. The thought of that creepy drug peddler touching her and he clenched his fists and got on the edge of his seat. He just felt like killing that gutterworm when he said, "Haseena ne figure to bahut tip top karke rakha hai". But next moment when he heard a sound of him being pushed off, he was a little relieved. He was again worried when he heard the noise of a scuffle between them with a gun. He feared for her. What if the trigger is pressed accidentally... He had seen Roshni dying and Arjun's condition after that. He couldn't imagine Aisha like that. It also reminded him of Riya. He shivered remembering the moment when she breathed her last in front of his eyes. It was a blow to their team.
All his fears ended with what followed next. Aisha had overpowered Jojo and he was at her gunpoint and also gave her the name and location of Rocky.
He breathed a sigh of relief and could just say, "Haan Aisha, Suna maine... Good job".
AFter 5 minutes, he saw her walking towards him with a smile. He couldn't help but notice that she was looking smoking hot as Nadiya. The short dress revealing her sexy legs and hugging her body at right places, showing off her curves, a little loud make-up and her walk full of attitude... he was lost looking at her but lowered his gaze when she came closer.
He snapped out when he came close and opened the door to get inside. He scolded himself mentally for staring at his female colleague like this. He was hoping that she doesn't notice this.
Aisha, on the other hand, had actually noticed him looking at her. After working undercover with drug peddlers in her undercover mission, she was now smart enough to differentiate between men's gaze. Most of the times she had seen men looking at her lustfully. And she could definitely sense that her boss was not like that. There was no lust in his gaze. It was a kid like expression, an expression of a teenager, when he looks at his crush.
She smiled to herself at this thought. Crush... did her boss have a crush on her? really? She told herself, "No Aisha, there is nothing like that. Its just your "Nadiya" look, these revealing clothes, this is a head turner. And Your chief is a normal human being, a simple man. There is nothing surprising if even he looks at you. He is not a saint. But being a gentleman, he lowered his eyes. Don't forget that". But what about her? What did she feel for him?
Sameer noticed this smile, but he was not in a position to say anything. He just started the vehicle once she got in and fastened her seat belt.
Sameer: great job Aisha...
Aisha(smiles nervously): Thank you sir
Sameer: der ho gayi hai... tumhe ghar drop kar deta hoon... kal Modern Village jayenge... Rocky ko pakadne..
Aisha(nods): Ok sir.
The drive to her place was silent. Both were in their thoughts.

Though she held Arjun responsible for her failed mission but things were mended quickly and ETF helped her solve the case. She was happy to be a part of a prestigious team like ETF. She felt a little out of place during her initial days in ETF.
ACP Sameer Rathore, the chief of ETF was the only one who made her feel comfortable. He treated her with the equal warmth, with which he used to treat his other team members. Right from day 1, he involved her directly in cases and at the same instant gave her time to adjust to the new conditions. It was a little difficult for her. For last many months, she was working on her own, making her own decisions and not reporting to anyone on an everyday basis.
Now things were changed with bosses like ACP Sameer Rathore and ACP Arjun Rawte and a bit reluctant colleagues Chhotu and Shree. She felt a little resistance from Shree and Chhotu. Later she knew the reason behind it. They were missing their old colleague Riya. Arjun was indifferent to everyone on personal level. In such situation, she got all the support from Sameer.
Very soon she adjusted to their ways and bacame friends with Shree and Chhotu. They were fun to be with.
She was always intrigued by Arjun's personality and his secretive lifestyle. She got to know from Shree and Chhotu that his wife was brutally killed. She sympathized with him. She always respected Sameer, but never felt anything more than that. But she always felt that Sameer was very cold with Arjun and she really didn't like it. She used to feel that how can Sameer be insensitive to a person like Arjun who has faced such a big tragedy in his life.
But one day she saw a different side of Sameer, a soft side. Chief Sameer Rathore, who was always at loggerheads with Arjun, actually cared for him. When she was observing Arjun and was wondering how was he leading such a life, Sameer came and said about Arjun, "Yehi soch rahi hoon na, ki ye aadmi ghar kab jaata hai, sota kab hai?... kuch log isliye nahi sotey hain, kunki unhe neend nahi aati, aur kuch log isliye nahi sotey hain... Khwabon ke darr se sona nahi chahtey"
She felt guilty for her thoughts about Sameer. He was not at all insensitive that she thought him to be. He too had hidden some pain behind the mask of strictness.
She knew there is much more to what is visible between these two. She felt that Sameer and Arjun knew each other well but they dont show it. She also tried to ask Sameer about it, but he snubbed her and changed the topic.
Later, she was terrified to see them openly hurling accusations at each other in ETF office. She didn't know what was wrong between them, but all she could guess that it was this day, which was important and sad for both of them, when Sameer said "Saari baatein dhyaan mein rakhni chahiye? tum rakhtey ho? AAJ KE DIN RAKHI THI SAARI BAATEIN DHYAAN MEIN?". She guessed that they know each other since long and shared a pianful past.
Next few days were tense. She tried to make peace between the two, but when she saw her efforts not working, she backed off for sometime and things were seeming to be normal and she was happy about it.
She had seen Sameer being frustrated whenever Arjun risked his life. Sameer had literally thrown her out of the bus but didn't leave Arjun alone with the bomb in the bus.
Her opinion about Sameer had changed by now. Everybody knew that reason behind Arjun's behaviour is his wife's brutal murder. And now she was more worried about Sameer, because he too was hiding something. She had started observing him more and developed a different kind of concern for him. She also felt that he too is concerned about her. When in jungle, the poacher tried to touch her, the way he shouted "Haath mat lagana usey" and later he twirled her around to save her from the arrow and was hurt in leg.
She shivered when she remembered their undercover stint at the jewellery shop. The way he made her wear the necklace and was lost looking at her in the mirror, she blushed at this thought. Their dinner date was beautiful for her. Though he came reluctantly with her, but later they bonded well. She found a new friend in him. He laughed with her on some silly jokes, but still she could see some pain behind it.
This actually bothered her more. Arjun could atleast show his frustration and anger. He was not taking any efforts to hide his pain to look normal. But she felt bad for Sameer who couldn't even show his pain. He had to take so many efforts to make himself look normal. She didn't know why he was doing this.
Sameer too was in similar thoughts.
She had always proved her worth as an ETF member. She was brave and never backed off from any difficult situation. He was proud to have an officer like her in ETF. But he had observed a lot more about her. He had seen her caring for the team. She adjusted well after Riya. He used to observe her when she was spending some fun moments with Shree and Chhotu. Her genuine smile used to make him forget his pain for a while. Though he never voiced out, but he had feelings for Roshni. He sacrificed his love for Roshni and Arjun's happiness. After that he could never imagine any other girl in his life. But Aisha had brought a little change in his life. He missed Roshni and he was trying to find her in Aisha. She had the same warmth as Roshni.
He never spoke up, but he always used to have coffee with her only. He used to wait for her to come with a coffee for him.
He had seen her struggling to make peace between him and Arjun but still he couldn't share his pain with her. He didn't want to bother her. He snubbed her, but felt bad after that.
He too cared about her and was protective for her. He hated to send her alone for any undercover but most of the times he didn't have choice. He was really mad at the poacher who tried to touch her. He hated it when someone else looked at her lustfully. Though he would have felt the same if it was any other female member of the team, but for Aisha, the intensity of this feeling was much more.
For the first time he lost control over his senses was at the jewellery shop when he was lost looking at her in the mirror. He cursed himslef for his overacting of picking up the necklace and placing it around her neck. Later when she tried to act normal saying "maine to apni shadi ki jewellery bhi kharid li thi", it tickled him somewhere in his heart. He could help but smile. And thanks to his black sunglasses, she couldn't see his eyes, because his eyes reflected what was actually in his heart.
He didn't know what exactly he felt for her, but he knew, he felt a connection with her. She asked him out for dinner. Though he didn't want to go, but still couldn't say no to her. After a long time he felt lighter. He forgot his pain for a while. The void that was left after he lost his two best friends, Arjun and Roshni , seemed to be filling. But still there was a long way to go. He still couldn't open up with her.
Both of them snapped out of their thoughts when they reached Aisha's place.
Aisha: Thank you sir... good night..
Sameer: good night Aisha... take care
Aisha: u too sir...
They smile at each other. This smile meant a lot for both of them.

Next day was very eventful.
Aisha witnessed something that she never imagined in her dreams. Sameer snapped out at Arjun and for the first time Arjun quietly listened to him and didn't even back answer him. And what followed it was another shock for her. Arjun Suryakant Rawte was crying. She felt sad for him and for a moment she was mad at Sameer for being insensitive to Arjun. But when she saw guilt in Sameer's eyes, when he left the room, she melted. She knew it was genuine. But Sameer's outburst and his words were ringing in her mind.

Sameer too was hurt after he rudely talked to Arjun and Arjun broke down. He felt guilty and so helpless that he couldn't be with his friend when he needed him the most. But this was the time when Arjun needed to be alone for a while. He was also upset that most of the evidences were wiped out because of Arjun's outrage. He didn't know what to do now.

Following day, they got hold of Nadeem Khan and Aisha saw that "S" mark on the drugs packet there, which she had seen during her undercover mission.
She was shocked when Arjun said "Wohi Sikandar jo is 'S' ke agey aur is dhandhe ke peeche hai"

She always knew that an unknown force was driving this business but she never heard of this name. But ths symbol was not new to her.
They had almost caught Nadeem Khan, but someone shot him dead and their only lead was gone.
But what followed after that was so quick that the team didnt even get time to react. Arjun was on the target of a sniper and before he could shoot him, Sameer junped pushing Arjun to side and got shot in arm. Entire team screamed together, "RATHORE SIR!!!!!!!"
Arjun quickly turned and shot back at the sniper but he managed to give them a slip. Arjun and Chhotu chased him and got hold of him, but he too swallowed cyanide capsule.
Ayesha and Shree managed to help Rathore get up and made him sit. Luckily bullet didnt pierce in his arm. It just touched and passed causing a deep wound and blood loss. Shree got te first aid box and dressed his wound.
Arjun and Chhotu came back to inform them. Arjun ans Sameer just exchanged the glances. There was a warmth for each other in their eyes, but both again went back to their usual ways.
Sameer: Wo sniper kahan hai? Bhaag gaya kya?
Arjun: Nahi, Usne bhi cyanide kha liya?
Sameer: DAMN ITT!!... ye lead bhi gayi haath se...
Arjun: relax, itna stress mat lo. Chhotu, Shree, us sniper ki body ko lab le jao. Aisha, tum Rathore ko hospital leke jao.
It was then, when Aisha came out of trance. She went numb after she saw Rathore injured. She was mechanically following Shree in helping Rathore.
Sameer: uski zarurat nahi hai... mai theek hoon.
Arjun: tum theek ho ya nahi ye batana doctor ka kaam hai... to behtar hoga ki tum apna kaam kiya karo aur doctor ko uska kaam karne do. Aisha!!
Aisha barely managed to utter "yes sir". She looked at Sameer. Sameer was quick to notice tears in her eyes.
Aisha and Sameer go to hospital and doctor checks and dresses his wound again and administers him the injection to avoid any infection and a painkiller. He also prescribes some painkillers dosage for next few days.
Aisha drops him home. She makes him lie on bed. She noticed some photographs in the living room. Sameer with was a beautiful girl in a few photographs. She was wondering who she is when she happened to look at a photo in a corner. That girl was in bridal attire with her groom with Sameer standing between them hugging them sideways. One look at her groom and she knew who she was. Roshni... That photo was taken during Arjun-Roshni's wedding ceremony. Though Sameer was smiling in that photo, she could sense some pain in his eyes.
She went out to get the medicines. When she came back, she saw, Sameer standing on terrace of his apartment. It was raining and he was fully drenched. His wound dressing too was drenched and blood oozed out of it.
She panicked and doesn't know what to do. She went out and alsmot pulled him inside and made him sit on the sofa. He just looked at her but didn't protest. He was lost in his thoughts about Roshni, Arjun and the painful incident that changed their lives.
Aisha(worried): Sir aap bahar kyun aaye? aapko aaram karna chahiye.
Sameer: Mai theek hoon Aisha... tum jao...
Aisha: aapki chot se khoon beh raha hai... mai dobara dressing kar deti hoon...
Sameer(annoyed): nahi... wo apne aap theek ho jayega... doctor ne injection diya hai... pehli baar chot nahi lagi hai mujhe...
Aisha: aap coffee piyenge?
Sameer: nahi... tum please jao yaha se... muhe akela chhod do...
Aisha: Lekin sir...
Sameer(raises his voice): I said leave me alone...
Aisha gets up to leave and picks up her bag that she kept on side table. While she was picking it up, a file falls on the floor. Sameer snaps out to see what fell down when Aisha picks it up and accidentally a paper falls out of it. Aisha is shocked to see it. It was the same "S" mark. Sameer flares up when he watches that in Aisha's hands and comes sprinting towards her and snatches it back and shouts at her.
Sameer(shouting): Aisha !!! tumhe sunayi nahi diya? maine kaha jao yahan se...
Aisha(stammers): sir, ye... to...
Sameer(Screams): JUST LEAVE...
Aisha is scared to see him like this. She could sense the anger and pain in his eyes. She leaves but couldn't forget all this. She realized that Sameer too believes in Sikandar's existence. She was confused. She didn't know why Sameer denied his existence in front of Arjun. She was worried about him.
Sameer was worried about his secret mission, that he couldn't do it openly or share with anyone else. He snapped out at Arjun that there is no Sikandar, but he knew that Sikandar is there and he too was hunting for him. He knew it was Sikandar who stabbed Roshni. He too wanted the revenge for her. And today Aisha got to know his secret.
He sat on the sofa looking at Roshni's photo on the opposite wall.
He felt guilty for shouting at Aisha for no reason. She was just caring for him because he was injured. She accidentally saw the file. She didnt intend to intrude in his life. But now when she knew about it, he felt a need to talk to her. He decides to call her back.
Aisha was had driven for a few kms when her phone rang. She was surprised to see Rathore calling. She takes the call.
Aisha: hello sir!
Sameer(pleading): Aisha, kya tum yaha wapas aa sakti ho?
Aisha is confused at his behaviour but she wanted to be with him so she agrees.
Aisha: yes sir... mai aati hoon...
By the time she comes back, he freshens up and changes his wet clothes and tried to look normal.
Aisha comes back and he opens the door for her. She notices guilt in his eyes and also his efforts to look normal, which failed in front of her. He doesn't know where to start from. He struggled to set his bandage right and Aisha comes forward to help him.
He barely manages to apologize and Thank her.
Sameer: Thanks Aisha, and... I'm sorry... mujhe tum par is tarah se chillana nahi chahiye tha...
Aisha understands his situation and gives him time to open up.
Aisha: Its ok sir... mai samajh sakti hoon ki is ke peechhe zarur koi bahut badi wajah hogi...aap guilty mat feel kijiye... its fine (changes the topic) mai coffee banaun?
Sameer nods in yes and is relieved to hear her response. Aisha makes coffee for both of them and they quietly finish it.
He goes near the window not facing her to avoid the eye contact.
Sameer: Wo hai Aisha... wo hai...
Aisha: aap kiski baat kar rahey hain sir (she has guessed that he is talking about Sikandar, but wanted him to speak up.)
Sameer: Sikandar (sighs)
Aisha quietly listens to what he has to say.
Sameer: Mai bhi dhundh raha hoon usey... usine Roshni ko maara tha... bahut si criminal activities mein involved hai wo... ya fir ye kahun ki wo hi un activities ko chalata hai...jurm ki duniya ka baap hai wo...3 saal ho gaye hain... par ab tak uske khilaf koi thos saboot haath nahi laga hai... isliye chup baitha hoon... Arjun ko to tumne dekha hi hai... kaise wo apne gusse par kaboo nahi rakh pata hai... hum dono ka maqsad ek hi hai... hum dono mein se kisi ek ko to thande dimag se kaam lena hoga na... kam se kam tab tak... jab tak hum Sikandar ke hone ka koi pukhta saboot nahi dhundh lete... kyunki tab tak koi humara vishwaas nahi karega... Mai bas tumse ye request karna chahta hoon ki tumne ye jo file dekhi hai mere paas ... please uske barey mein kisi ko mat batana...
Aisha: Dont worry sir... kisi ko kuch pata nahi chalega...
Sameer is assured and turns back to look at her.
Aisha: Sir, Aap Roshni aur Arjun sir ko pehle se jantey they?
Sameer(snaps out): Roshni meri college time ki best friend thi. Aur Arjun se mai Police academy mein mila tha. Humari training saath huyi thi.
Now Aisha understood the connection between Sameer-Roshni-Arjun-Sikandar. But she felt there was more to Sameer and Roshni's relationship than what Sameer told her. She had noticed a different pain in his eyes and voice when he mentioned her.
Aisha dares a little more.
Aisha: Ek baat poochhon aapse?
Sameer: Poochho..
Aisha: bahut pyaar kartey they na aap ussey?
Sameer is startled.
Sameer: Kya? (stammers)... tum.. kiski... baat... kar rahi ho?
Aisha: Aap ab bhi ussey bahut pyar kartey hain... aur mai us adhoore pyar ka dard aapki aankhon mei dekh sakti hoon
Sameer looks sideways to avoid eye-contact with her.
Aisha: aap aankhein chura sakta hain par apni aankhon se jhalakti sachchayi ko nahi chhupa saktey... aap Roshni se bahut pyar kartey hai na?
Sameer(trying to hide his feelings): aisa kuch nahi hai Aisha... wo meri bahut achchhi dost thi...
Aisha: aapko jhooth bolna nahi aata... isliye please koshish bhi mat kijiye... koi sirf apni achchhi dost ya kisi achchhe dost ki patni ko insaaf dilane ke liye... apni jaan is tarah daav par nahi lagata...
Sameer(gives up and breathes a deep sigh): mai sirf usey khush dekhna chahta tha... uski ek muskurahat ke liye mai kuch bhi kar sakta tha... mai uski har khwahish poori hotey dekhna chahta tha... usey Arjun se pyaar ho gaya aur mai janta tha ki Arjun bhi usey bahut pyar karta tha... wo khush thi uske saath... issey zyada mujhe aur kya chahiye tha ... par... kuch khwahishein adhuri hi reh jati hai... wo chali gayi...ab bas useey insaaf dil paun to khud ko khushnaseeb samjhunga...

Arjun could at least express and justify his outrage. Sameer couldn't even do that. He suffered everything in silence and yet kept his cool and followed the rules.
She just felt an urge to gather him in her arms and assure him that he is not alone, but she knew it was not possible.
Aisha: Sir, bahut der ho gayi hai... mai chalti hoon...
Sameer gives a faint smile and nods.
Aisha is about to leave when Sameer calls her and she turns back.
Sameer: Aisha...Thanks for listening to me... achchha laga aaj tumse baat karke...I'm sorry... pehle to maine tumhe daant diya... aur fir apni ye sad story lekar tumhe pareshan kar diya...
Aisha: aisa kuch nahi hai sir...aur mujhe bhi achchha laga ye jaan kar ki aap mujhe trust kartey hain...
Sameer smiles.
Aisha: sir ek aur baat... jab aap mujhe trust kartey hi hain... to kya main aapke is mission ka hissa...
Sameer(panics and cuts her short): NAHI!!!!... kabhi nahi... ye meri aur Arjun ki personal ladayi hai... ye mission humari zindagi se jud chuka hai...mai ismein kisi aur ko involve nahi kar sakta... bahut khatra hai ismein... door raho is sab se Aisha... door raho...
Aisha: par kahi na kahin meri zindagi bhi to aapse jud gayi hai na!!!!
Sameer(confused): kya? mai samjha nahi...
Aisha: kuch nahi sir.. mai chalti hoon... bye...
She leaves him pondering over her words.
Sameer thinks about what she said. Why did she say that she has a connection with his personal life now? Is she in love with him? He had seen her caring for him but he always chose to neglect. He too cared for her. All the moments spent with her flashed in his mind. And somewhere he had seen a glimpse of Roshni in her. He too had developed feelings for her. But his mission stopped him from confessing his feelings. He couldn't commit to a relationship when he didn't know about his future. The mission he was involved in was dangerous and he could lose his life in it. And he was worried when Aisha said she wanted to be a part of ths mission. He could no way get her involved in it.

Aisha felt scared after coming out of Sameer's place. She scolded herself mentally. She almost confessed her feeling to him. She didnt know how would he react to the actual meaning of her words, so she left without giving him a chance to question her further. She knew that it was his concern that he didn't want to involve her. SHe respected him and his decision, so she decided to him his time. She would wait for him, even if it meant to wait forever.

Life moved on for next few weeks. And finally that day came. It was late in the evening. Aisha went to Sameer's cabin to give him coffee. He was looking at his cell phone. Aisha sensed that he is waiting for an important call. Before he could finish his coffee, his phone rang. He listened to what the person on the other end had to say and just smirked before disconnecting the call. He put the coffee mug down and called up Arjun.
Sameer: Arjun! humein kahin jaana hai... jaldi... (put the phone down)
Sameer(to Aisha)(picking up his holster and wearing it): Mai aur Arjun bahar jaa rahey hain... tum log bhi apna kaam khatam kar ke nikal jaana... Bye...
He sprinted towards the door but turned and walked back to Aisha. He looked into her eyes.
Sameer(emotionally): Aisha !! yaad hai tumne us din kaha tha ki tumhari zindagi mujhse jud gayi hai... sach kahoon to... mujhe bhi lagta hai ki humari zindagiyan sachmuch judi huyi hain... par ... kabhi kabhi... humein ye bandhan todne padtey hain... haalat humein majboor kar dete hain... aur shayad isi mein hum sab ki bhalayi hai... pata nahi mujhe tumse ye kehne ka mauka dobara milega ya nahi... par tum meri life mein bahut important ho...mere liye ek dost se badhkar ho ... aur mai tumhe kabhi takleef mein nahi dekh sakta... isliye mai bhi ye bandhan tod ke jaa raha hoon...ye ek aur Khwahish pali thi is dil mein... par shayad ye bhi adhuri hi reh jayegi... ho sakey to mujhe maaf kar dena...
He touched her cheek with his palm and kissed her forehead. He quickly turned back and stormed out of his cabin.
Aisha stood there for a few seconds gliding her fingers on her cheek feeling his touch and turned back to see that half filled coffee mug. She was scared. She didn't know what he meant to say but she was getting negative vibes. Something bad was going to happen.
She came out of his cabin and went to conference room. Others were looking at her woth a question mark their face. They had just seen both the seniors storming out in hurry.
Aisha(snapping out): Wo Rathore sir aur Arjun sir ko kuch kaam tha... wo dono baahahr gaye hain. Sir bol ke gaye hain ki hum log bhi apna kaam khatam karke nikal jayein.
Team left after sometime.
It was late in the nght. Aisha was restless. She was tossing in the bed thinking about what Sameer said in the evening. He too loved her. But why did he say that he might not get another chance. She shivered remembering these words. She didn't know when she drifted to sleep.
She was woken up with when her phone rang. She looked at the watch. it was 3:45 AM. She looked at her phone. The call was from head quarters. She was told to report at a crime spot. She called up Shree, Chhotu and Liza and told them to meet her at the crime spot. She was trying to call both Rathore and Arjun, but their phones were not reachable. She panicked, but she had to keep her cool. In Absence of both of them, she was the acting chief of ETF and she had to handle the team.
Team meets at the crime spot and start looking for the clues. It seemed like heavy firing had happened there. Some dead bodies were lying around. One among them was of a famous businessman Rahul Pradhan. He was an NRI and had invested a lot in many sectors in India. It was really confusing that what was he doing here. Aisha thought, may be because of his high profile, ETF was called in for this case. Her thoughts were broken by loud scream of Shree.
Shree(panicked): AISHA!!!!!
Aisha, Chhotu and Liza sprinted towards him. He was shivering and was almost in tears. And what he held in his hands sent the chill down the spine of all three of them. Sameer and Arjun's broken cellphones.
Chhotu(scared): iska matlab Rathore sir aur Arjun sir yaha aaye they...
Aisha froze for a moment looking around the dead bodies.
Chhotu: Aisha, nahi... un dono ko kuch nahi hua hoga... hum dhundhenge unhe... chalo...
They spread out and start searching for Arjun and Rathore. Chhotu goes out to check with people of back up forces who had arrived their long back.
They didn't find Rathore and Arjun among the dead. There was still hope of them being alive.
Chhotu comes back to Aisha.
Chhotu: maine abhi bahar back up forces se poochhtaach ki thi... wo log 12 baje yaha aa gaye they aur... bahut firing ho rahi thi... jo log ghayal ho gaye hain... unhe City Hospital le gaye hain...wo yaha se sabse paas mein hai... waha jakar dekhtey hain...
Aisha (snaps out): haan!!!!... haan Chhotu... unhe kuch nahi ho sakta... (fighting the tears welled up in her eyes)
By now Liza and Shree have coordinated with the forensics staff and sent the dead bodies to lab and sealed the place. Four of them reach the City Hospital.
They almost sprint inside and what they see and hear inside shocks them.

Few hours back.
Sameer's hardwork had proven to be fruitful and he had found clues about who was behind this name Sikandar. He had set up a trap and he was hoping that Sikandar would definitely fall into it and it happened the way he wanted to. He got the call from his informer that he has arrived to the spot. He called up Arjun to tell him that they need to go somewhere.
He knew it was dangerous and might not return alive. He confessed his feelings to Aisha and left with Arjun.

Arjun: hum jaa kaha rahey hain?
Sameer: wo aa gaya hai Rawte...
Sameer gives him a file to read. Arjun flares up when he reads it out. It was NRI businessman Rahul Pradhan who was actually operating behind the name of Sikandar. He had invested a lot in in India. Many educational institutions, religious places, NGOs and thorugh them he was operating his criminal activities.
Sameer gathered proofs of it and got a very big consignment of illegal weapons caught few days back and he knew that it was a big blow to Sikandar and he had to come out of his hideout to reprimand his men who couldn't save that consignment. Sameer hoped it works and it worked. His informers were active and thorugh immigration authorities, he got to know that Rahul Pradhan came to India 2 days back. And today, when the spot was decided, Sameer's informer informed him about it and Sameer set out to get him.
Arjun didn't have words to say. He just looked at Sameer with sympathy. He too knew how much Sameer loved Roshni.
Sameer: Ye jazbaati hone ka waqt nahi hai Arjun... focus... maine back up forces ko bhi aane ko bol diya hai... par mai team ko involve nahi kar sakta tha kyunki ye case formally ETF ke paas nahi aaya hai... back up forces ko bhi nahi pata ki wo kis mission ke liye aa rahey hain... information maine kisi ko bhi nahi di hai... DIG sir ko bhi nahi... mai risk nahi le sakta tha... department mein Pradhan ke liye kaam karne wale kayi corrupt officers hain...baat leak hone ka khatra tha... islye humein ye is tarah karna pad raha hai...
Arjun: tumne jo bhi kiya... bilkul sahi kiya ...
Sameer: in proofs ki ek copy maine apne office mein rakh di hai... aur ek mere ghar par hai... agar mujhe kuch ho gaya to...
Arjun: Shut up Sam!!! kuch nahi hoga tumhe...
They just look at each other.
They reach the spot and back up forces too arrive there its a deserted godwon. They surround the place. Arjun and Sameer go inside with the back up forces and the firing starts from both the sides. Rahul Pradhan tries to escape but Sameer and Arjun catch him. They bash him up and tell him that they have gathered all the proofs against him.
Arjun remembers Roshni and other victims of Sikandar. The young boys and girls whom he had seen who had became drugg addicts and spoiled their lives, young girls being trafficked, people being killed in bomb blasts.
Arjun: tumhara khel khatam hua Rahul Pradhan urf Sikandar... ab tum bach nahi saktey... tumhare kihlaf sare saboot hain humare paas... u r under arrest...
Sameer: Ye kya keh rahey ho tum Arjun? ye wohi Sikandar hai jisne Roshni ki jaan li...ye uska gunahgaar hai... aur tum isey zinda chhod rahey ho? isey jeene ka koi haq nahi hai... just kill him... and if u dont, i'll kill him...
Arjun: Nahi Rathore, ye sirf Roshni ka hi nahi... aur bhi kaayi logo ka gunahgaar hai... isey sazaa kanoon dega...
Sameer: tumhara dimag kharab ho gaya hai Rawte... 3 saal se isey dhundh rahey ho badla lene k liye... aaj tak tumne koi rul , koi protocol follow nahi kiya... aur aaj jab ye tumhare samne hai... to tumhe department ke rules yaad aa rahey hain ?
Arjun: Aur tum Rathore? itne saal, sarey rules aur protocols follow kartey aaye... tumhe aaj kya ho gaya hai? tum mujhe rules todne ko keh rahey ho? tum ujhe kehtey they ki bdale ki aag ne mujhe andha kar diya hai... aur hum zimmedar officers hain, humein koi haq nahi hai apni professional life aur personal life ko milane ka... aur aaj tum wohi kar rahey ho?
Sameer flares up listening to this and turns his head in disgust and what he sees next doesn't give him time to say anything further.
Rahul sees them arguing and picks up a gun lying near by and aims Arjun to shoot him and Sameer sees him. He just pushes Arjun screaming his name "ARJUN!!!!!" and is hit by the bullet. This time the bullet hit causing a fatal injury. Arjun who had composed himself till now again loses his cool. Visions of Roshni bein stabbed again flash in front of his eyes and his best friend is lying in front of him in blood of pool. This sudden provocation was enough to trigger the Arjun to kill Sikandar/Rahul Pradhan.
Arjun shoots Rahul Pradhan and picks up unconscius Sameer and takes him to City Hospital in his vehicle. Since there was still some firing going on, no one from back up forces noticed them.
In the hospital, the doctors operate Sameer and take the bullet out but there has been a lot of bloss los and doctors have started the blood transfusion.
Doctor comes out of operation theater and tell Arjun that Sameer's condition is very critical. Arjun flares up and hols doctor by collar.
Arjun(furious): Agar usey kuch bhi hua... to mujhse bura koi nahi hoga...
That is when Aisha, Shree, Chhotu and Liza reach there.
Chhotu holds Arjun and pulls him behind. Shree apologizes to the doctor and requests to continue. Sameer is shifted to ICU. Arjun too gains composure by now.
Doctor tells them that next 48 hours are critical for him.
Aisha is numb and Liza is holding her. Sameer's words were ringing in her mind "pata nahi mujhe tumse ye kehne ka mauka dobara milega ya nahi... par tum meri life mein bahut important ho...mere liye ek dost se badhkar ho"
All the moments spent with him flashed in front of her eyes. His smile, his care, his concern.
Arjun looks at Aisha. He had always noticed that both Sameer and Aisha had feelings for each other but never expressed them. He knew that Sameer had feelings for Roshni too but she never acknowledged them. Somewhere he felt bad for it. But he was happy for Sameer that he had found that feeling again for Aisha and this time his feelings are acknowledged by her.
He went to Aisha and held her by shoulders.
Arjun: Aisha !!! (she looked at him with teary eyes) usey kuch nahi hoga... wo wapas aayega... maut se ladkar... tumhare liye... apne pyar ke liye... mai janta hoon tum ussey bahut pyar karti ho... aur wo bhi tumse utna hi pyar karta hai...
Aisha couldn't think anything. She just rested her head on Arjun's shouders and brike into crying. Arjun stood there hold her in by encrcling her with his one arm and caressing her head with the other hand. He had take the revenge for Roshni, his life was empty but now he had to put all his efforts in bringing his friend back to life.
Shree, Chhotu and Liza were really not surprised to know that Aisha loved Sameer, but Sameer to had similar feelings for Aisha was a news to them.
Next 48 hours were hell for entire team. Arjun had to go out and take a press conference to give out the deatils of the mission exposing Rahul Pradhan with all the proofs. ETF was praised for their brave act. But only team knew at what cost this came.
Sameer was responding to the treatment and afer 2 days doctors confirmed that he is out of danger. But they were not sure when he would be conscious. They were praying day and night for his well being.
Team was relieved to hear this but still worried. They resumed their duty with atleast one person staying at hospital taking turns.
After a week, their prayers were answered and Sameer opened his eyes. Doctors informed Arjun and Arjun informed everyone to reach the hospital. By the time they reached, doctors had checked Sameer and he was fine now and in a condition to talk.
Chhotu, Shree and Liza entered his room. Arjun looked at Aisha, her feet stopped at a distance from him ward.
Chhotu, Shree and Liza were looking at Rathore with teary eyes.
Doctor ahd already told him that he was in hospital for last 9 days andhis team was worried about him. He was always rude to them but he couldn't bear to see them like this. He had always seen his team smiling. He thought of cheering them up.
Sameer: tum log ro kyun rahey ho? Abhi zinda hoon mai... bach gaya hoon...
Arjun enters.
Arjun: isiliye to ro rahey hain... tere jaisa khadoos boss... itne bade shoot out mein zinda kaise bach gaya...
Sameer chuckles but it causes him a little pain and he winces.
They sprint towards him and hold his hands. Shree and Liza from one side and Arjun and Chhotu from other side.
Shree: sir please dobara aisa mat kijiyega... aap nahi jaantey aap humare liye kya hain...
Chhotu: Haan sir ...
Sameer smiles. He looks at each of them and then looks around.
Arjun senses that he is looking for Aisha.
Arjun: wo bahar hai...
Sameer: kaun?
Arjun: jise teri aankhein dhundh rahi hain... Hum jatey hain aur usko bhejtey hain... Chalo team... humein office bhi jana hai... Take care.
They leave and Arjun sends Aisha inside.
Aisha goes inside and looks at him with teary eyes. Sameer smiles.
Sameer: kismat achchhi hai meri... mujhe dusra mauka mil hi gaya... aur ek nayi zindagi bhi...
Aisha sprints towards him and holds his hand and cries.
Sameer: Pata nahi... teesra mauka kab miley... isliye abhi poochh raha hoon... kya meri is nayi zindagi mein... meri humsafar banogi? Will u marry me? Haan mai thoda khadoos hoon... thoda strict hoon... par i'm sure, tum mujhe thoda bahut to sudhar hi sakti ho hain na?
Aisha is still crying but she manages to smile somehow and nods her head in yes.
Sameer: Chalo, meri ye khwahish to poori ho hi jayegi is nayi zindagi mein... tumhara saath paane ki...
Arjun had come back to ask something to Aisha, but when he saw Sameer proposing her, he backed off and left. He was happy.

Next 3 weeks in hospital and 2 months bed rest and Sameer Rathore is back into action. All this period, Arjun had nothing to think about other than Sameer's well being.
Sameer was to join the duty back as chief. Arjun was acting chief in his absence. Entire ETF office was happy to see him back.
He was overwhelmed by their love.
Now when Sameer was back, Arjun felt an emptyness in his life. There was no direction for him to look in. He thought to move out of ETF.
Sameer was sitting in his cabin when Arjun came to him.
Arjun: mera kaam hogaya hai Sam... mujhe ab chalna chahiye... bas tumhe Bye kehne aaya tha...
He turns to leave but stops when Sameer says:
"Sadrakshnay Khalnigrahanaye... humne kasam li hai Arjun... achchhai ko bachane ki aur burayi ko mitane ki.. abhi sirf ek Sikandar mara hai... pata nahi aur aise kitne Sikandar khule ghum rahe hain aur na jane kitne masoom log unka shikar ban rahey hain... tum itne selfish nahi ho saktey Arjun... aur humne police force bhi to jurm ke khatme ke liye join ki thi... tum is tarah se nahi jaa saktey..."
Arjun ponders over his words. He was right. Arjun didnt join police force for his personal revenge. He couldn't leave this life like this. Now when Roshni was gone, his life had no purpose to live for. At least he can live his life serving the country and help people get justice.
Arjun: Mere liye yaha rukna bahut mushkil hai Sam... par mai koshish karunga...
Sameer: Mai janta hoon ... Arjun Suryakant Rawte mushkilon se bhagne wala insaan nahi hai...
Arjun: waise yehi ek wajah hai jo tu mujhe rokna chahta hai... ya dusri wajah bhi hai?
Sameer: dusri wajah? mai samjha nahi?
Arjun: Haan... tu ab janta hi hai ki tere absence mein maine kaam theek se sambhal liya hai... to ab tu fir se chhutti par ja sakta hai... kaam ke tension ke bina...
Sameer: pagal ho gaya hai tu? 3 mahine se zyada chhutti par tha... ab aur kisliye chhutti loonga?
Arjun: Shadi aur honeymoon ke liye...
Sameer is flabbergasted.
Sameer: KYA?
Arjun: maine us din sun liya tha... tune hospital mein hi Aisha ko propose kiya tha aur usne haan bhi keh diya tha... wo intezar kar rahi hai...
Sameer blushes.
But they are interrupted by a phone call. There is a new case.
Around same time, Shree, Liza and Chhotu are teasing Aisha, that now Sameer is fine, they can move ahead in their relationship. Aisha too blushes remembering how Sameer proposed her.
Sameer and Arjun come to the conference room.
Sameer: team, we have a new case... lets go...
Arjun and Sameer move followed by rest of the team.
Arjun teases Sameer while they are walking together.
Arjun: case to theek hai... par shadi kar le jaldi...teri shadi ki umar dhalti jaa rahi hai..
Sameer glares at him.
A few feet behind.
Shree: Aisha ... shadi ki shopping karne kab jayegi...
Liza: hey... mujhe bulana mat bhoolna...
Chhotu: khane ka menu decide karne se pehle mujhe zarur poochh lena...
Aisha blushes and runs away from them and collides with Sameer. Everyone bursts into laughter embarrasing the duo.
They just move on with the dreams of their marriage and a blissful life ahead.
