There haven't been many instances in the past 4 to 5 months where anybody from the EG (Evil gang) has been punished or reprimanded or shamed. While two wrongs don't make one right why only target a lonely pregnant girl who is caught between the monkey Mohit and tigress Bhabo and is clueless as to how to come up to their expectations and save her child from a fatherless future.

Uma, I think Emily just tipped the scales for us. Going by her former fiestiness, we had expected her to be a mini Sandy. We had higher expectations and now we feel let down. Her situation is pitiable. Any Rathi bahu even Meena needs to be pitied to some extent but to lose one's principles like that and to take Mohit's divorce threats literally by a girl who had the guts to send him a paternity test notice seems rather odd. She is not lonely by any means compared to Sandy. She still has loving parents who were willing to support her as a single mother even. It is all good to fight for one's marriage but not at the cost of a family member who you are already indebted to. Plus she lies easily. The face she made when Meena talked about her baby makes me suspect she is even pregnant. They have never shown her worrying about her baby after marriage. She just mentions you and me to Mohit and not the baby. Quite odd! Cvs have been playing sad music. They could have made her faint too make us feel more sympathetic but they haven't.

Deebz, no doubt they could have made Emily into a positive character and they skipped the transformation stage of Emily from a fiesty girl to the so called Adarsh Bahu in their enthusiasm to show the success of an IR marriage, a flaw in writing which I have already pointed out in threads taken out by Shant, but to think that Emily is so bold so as to take her legal fight to the finish is something I find it difficult to accept. She took legal recourse only to put pressure on Mohit to marry her. The moment they offered the option of going to the village, she grabbed it and took numerous humiliations from Maasa to get accepted. I have seen many girls who are bold when unmarried turning a Bheegi billi after marriage. Sandhya is a classic example. She too takes in a lot of torture from Bhabo. In fact she even took it when she was not in love with Suraj. Her brother offered her an olive branch asked her to walk away from this madness she did not. Emily's case is worse. She was an unwed mother. Her parents never advised her to let go of the boy who out rightly refused to accept the child as his own. Implying they were also afraid of the societal backlash of keeping an unwed pregnant girl at home. By hook or crook they wanted to see her married to Mohit a boy who had already shown his true colours. They never advised her to let go of a devious and shady character like Mohit.Let me just summarise how I view the entire scenario. Emily loves Mohit madly and believes she can win back his love she lost due to her taking a legal recourse. She feels this competition can achieve it. She goes for it and she feels this is her only chance of saving this marriage. No doubt it was not noble of her to compete against a person who helped her, but than when it is a question of survival not everyone is noble. She wants to give the marriage her best shot and does not want to put her parents through the pain of separation. She believes they will be shattered if her parents get to know there is trouble in paradise. She is a Roman Catholic, may not be very religious but the fact that she did not abort following her religion's tenets could also mean she believes in the sanctity of marriage and divorce as we all know is difficult and looked down upon by RC church. That is why I said that to be harsh on Emily is surprising as there are far greater evils sitting in the RP unpunished. Regarding the issue whether she is pregnant or not it is obvious she is because for DNA test they would have taken the sample from the foetus and her lie would have been caught. She herself went to the court. If she was lying she would not have. This is strictly my POV and I also know majority of the forum members will disagree.

Yor are right...high expectation and CVs are oxymoron.

But I still had the expectation that Emily's character would be different from the other Rathis. For 2 years we have put up with Bhabo, meena, Chhavi and Mohit's torture just for SurrYa's sake, but I was hopeful that Emily will be honest and upright after what Sandy did for her. Is her only way out is to compete with Sandy? Why she can't make money by doing bridal makeup. No, my expectation from Emily was higher. CVs could have at least spared one character in the Rathi mansion. She could have been shown to be honest and supportive to Sandy.

BTw, we hate Meena, Chhavi, Mohit, and Bhabo with passion. For the last two years we have hated them. We liked Emily because she seemed to understand Sandy and had a nice relationship with her. But to compete with your own SIL, that too someone who has supported you through all your hardships, is very difficult to accept. She has turned negative when she let the Matka break, and now CVs have butchered her character for the audience. Is Sandy so unlucky that she does not have anyone by her side, besides her husband?

Juhi, evil sells and that is what they are showing. The more the number of people in the serial pulling down Sandhya, the assurance of remaining in the top of TRPS chart is definite. So the CVs follow that route, a route which has not betrayed them even in the peak IPL season. No matter how much their TRPS go down, they are always at the top. A Sherni Bhabo, Monkey Mohit, Fox Meena, Chameleon Chavvi and now the ever sobbing Emily are their USPs. They are unwilling to try out any other formula and take a risk.

Yes, Uma, agree. TRPs Rule😔

@ red - Sandy was tortured by those inhuman creatures, but none of them dared to challenge Sandy in the public. What Emily has done with her SIL is throwing her a public challenge, egged on by Bhabo and Mohit, and that is slightly different from the dirty politics that the others do.

Anyways, what a shameless ungrateful family. I bet when Sandy becomes an IPS officer, the entire clan will eat and lodge at Sandy's expense.

🤣 🤣 After reading 20lines of reply from 'Chulbuli Amma' and in response over 50lines reply from 'Serious Amma', I'm in love in with CVs of DABH instead of Ems!

To be honest, I've really -ve vibes about future storyline of DABH by keeping in mind how Mittal's messed up with storyline of other show!😔!

If we look at the history of TRPs then it was at peak when they shown victory of truth over evil.. So I don't get it what is their purpose to show 'negative khichdi' all the time? They've such a good concept but it's seems that somehow they've made the 'joke' of it!

I also wanted Ems to turn into positive character. It'd have been so much appreciated if they shown her doing progress in the life with the help of SoorYa without getting marry to Monkey-M. We've witnessed so many examples of women who're leading their life alone by raising kids! It's better for a kid to remain fatherless than to have a coward father like Mohit who himself rely on his wife for financial stability. I've seen such a examples in real life. I seriously feel like to kick them!

Ami, Ram kahani likhne ki toh meri purani adat hi hain...😆 On a serious note, we all want positivity in the show and victory of good over evil. However the CVs to my mind are following the same principle they followed with Sandhya. Sandhya did not walk out of the marriage despite being an IPS aspirant, undergoing daily emotional and mental torture. She was not in love with Suraj then. Her brother offered her help. She refused as she felt her father's name would be put to shame if the marriage did not work. It is the same sentiment at work. Waiting indefinitely for things to change for better. This is a love marriage.Emily truly believes she can turn around things. Get back the love she lost. Sandhya did not have a child to think of, Emily has.Man lives on hopes. If she does not want to hurt her parents like Sandhya what is wrong if she gives it a shot. Regarding TRPS they are better judges then us.😊
