Amazing story so far have started reading it today and read all 3 chapters

Chapter Four

Flashback is in purple.

Angel

"Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it."

Arnav was walking along the rough path of the jungle. It was a beautiful night. The moon
was shining brightly. Suddenly Arnav heard a tinkling sound. It was coming from inside of the jungle. The tinkling sound and the blowing wind altogether created a melodious tune.

"Who can be there at this time!" he wondered.

Curiosity made him follow that tinkling sound. He followed the sound. It stopped near a bush. He walked past the bush to get a clear vision of the owner of that melodious sound.
The vision he saw mesmerized him.

A young girl wearing white sari stood there. He waist length black hair fell on the ground
when she bent over to pick something. Her silky hair looked like a sheen curtain under
the moonlight. Her angelic face had a luminous glow. Her slim body looked like a delicate flower. The whole scenery in front of him was heavenly. For a moment he thought if the girl was human or an angel fallen from heaven. How can a earthly creature be so beautiful! He was hypnotized until he heard her scream.

"Hai devi mayiyya'.BHOOT!"

That scream broke his trance and for a moment he was at a loss what to do. He saw the girl running away from him. He heard her saying something which distinctly sounded like,

"Hai devi mayiyya'.raksha karna'.raksha karna"

He wanted to call out that girl. But words failed to come out from his mouth. When the
girl disappeared into the woods, he came back to earth.

"What did just happen? Who was that girl? Why did she seem familiar?"

Arnav was confused.He remembered that guards word.

"Sahab, a girl's spirit roams in this jungle"

"Spirit? Could it be? Or else who on earth roams in jungle at this hour of night! But what kind spirit gets scared of people?! Wait Arnav...since when have you started believing in ghosts? There is obviously an explanation for it. You were probably hallucinating. You had a long journey, your having jet lag, its normal to have hallucinations. But why did I hallucinate a girl? There is a reason for this too. The stupid guard told me that story just before I came here, so my brain projected an image of a young girl. That's what happened...well bravo to my brain to create something that beautiful...divine." Thought Arnav with a grin.

Happy with his perfect conclusion to the incident he felt it was time to return to the
camp. He was about to start walking when he saw something sparkling on the ground. He
bent down to pick it and found a payal.

"It's a payal...for real. That means I wasn't hallucinating. The girl was real! I heard the
tinkling sound of this payal. Problem solved, there really was no ghost. Arnav singh
raizada...you should be ashamed of yourself for even considering any existence of spirits. But what was that girl doing in jungle at night. She'll look for this payal when she finds out it is lost. I should look for her and return it! Arrrgh...Arnav, you have totally lost it. It hasn't even been one day and this freaking country is already affecting your mind. You don't even know her and why are you going to return it...how does it matter!!"

Arnav threw away the payal angrily and took the return path to camp.

Khushi returned home hastily. She was panting. She held the wall to steady herself.
Her heart was pounding.

"Hai devi maiyya...what was that ??" Khushi thought.

She heard her father coughing. She thought to make the medicine first and then think over it. She went to the kitchen and started to mix the herbs. After preparing the medicine she went to Shashi.

"What happened bitiya? You look disturbed." asked Shashi.

"Oh...nothing babuji."

"Bitiya I am your father. I can tell that smething is bothering you."

Khushi stayed silent.

"You are probably very stressed. Why don't you get some rest. I'll be okay."

"But babuji, you r sick. Let me sit beside you."

"Btiya, don't worry, it's just a normal cold. You can go."

Khshi nodded and went to her room.

She sat with her diary in the balcony. She always finds solace in balcony with her diary at night. She stared upon the star filled sky. She started writing,

" Was that really a ghost! but that ghot looked more like a human after uttering his...What The...! If he is a human then clearly he isn't of this village. I have never seen him. Then who he can be? He
seemed familiar. I don't remember him..."

Khushi stopped writing. She went inside her room. Suddenly a distinct memory came to khushi's mind. She stopped writing and let the memory flow in her mind.

" Amma why are we here? What is it we're going to see? Please tell me...please!"

A litle 8 year old khushi was jumping with excitment.

"Are pagli...be patient. You're seeing the huge mahal over there? Where the maharaja used to live?"

Khushi saw her mother pointing towards sheesh mahal. Everybody of Amravati village knew about sheesh mahal. After the death of maharaja, the inheritnce went to his daughter, Shraddha Singhania. He died last year. But his daughter couldn't came due to some problems. She and her family will be coming today. That's why so much preparation. The soon to be queen and his son will pass the road towards their palace in a palanquin.Then Khushi saw a dazzling palanquin coming towards them. She saw the queen wave to them with a stunning smile. Suddenly Khushi caught a glimpse of a pair of breathtaking brown eyes. it was only for a moment those eyes disappeared again in the palanquen.

That was the 1st n last time she saw those eyes but those few moments were enough to imprint those eyes in her heart n mind. Khushi still cant forget those eyes and the emptiness, the longing those eyes create in her heart whenever she remembers them.

Khushi lied down on her bed and closed her eyes.

Night was long and sleep was far away from two pair of eyes who were lost into each others.

Nice update .So they met and already made an impression on each other.

That was such a nice update...both have faint memory of each other.
