That is the answer to whether I have a uniformed Capt Raizada tucked away in my life or not.

But honestly?

The Captain is an amalgamation of some of my most favourite men-- my dad, an older cousin brother, Gilbert Blythe (no matter what TeeGee says), and this is going to sound REALLY weird, but a little bit of me is in there too.

In the sense, Captain and Lavanya's relationship is based off of my relationship with one of my oldest friends. Only difference being it's my friend who is the smart mouth and I laugh at his constant silly flirting.

I first discovered Gilbert when I was 11 and down with the chicken pox and dad bought me the series to make me feel better. I fell in love irrevocably. And PEI is SO on my bucket list of places too! I am a MAJOR Montgomery fangirl. And Green Gables just... all the FEELZ.

That is truly one series that makes me want to become a better person.

I have about two guys who I have that sorta relationship with. The rest are girls. That automatically leads to an awful lot of talk about ditching men and embracing homosexuality. Irrespective of boyfriends in the background.
