I came across dil-e-muztar episode1 while watching something on youtube. I liked the opening (then imran n sanam) so much tht i continued with the episode. I loved the fast pace of the story and how there was no unnecessary show-offs be it make up,dresses, expressions... Everything was close to life and story seemed different and what a fresh treatment.

By end of 1st episode i felt story had progressed as much as what indian serials woyld have in 1 year(in spite of being 20mins 5 days a week)😆

And tht was just the beginning:

In 1 day i caught with all pending episodes of dil-e-muztar

Khuda aur mohabbat completed in 3 days

Mera naseeb 3 days

Humsafar 3 days

Zindagi Gulzar Hai 2 days

Dastaan 3days (finished just yesterday)😊

In LOVE with Fawad Khan so i watched "behadd" too..😳

Apart from entertainment, these dramas have helped him know more abt Pakistan. I am from india and i am so glad to see how similar and dissimilar our lives are. I love the way people speak, urdu is so polite. Names of characters are so unique to me...they are not same as muslim names heard in india.

I would love to learn more abt Pak, since i feel india n Pak are connected, no war can deny or erase the commanilaties we share.😊

My frnds and family is going bonkers with my occasional urdu vocab during conversations like masla, masalan, taleem, tarbiyat, khuda,...😛😆

Completed:

Dil-e-muztar - 2.5/5

Same here...I too love watching Fawad's shows...i watched ZGH just by fluke and managed to watch all his earlier shows.

All my weekends are spend watching his show or movies..

Watch Armaan for him...he is one classic actor...the movie is too funny😳

i have also started watching pak serials a few days back... humsafar, zgh, khuda aur mohabbat and two telefilms aaj kuch na kaho and behadd watched dastaan till 13th epi and i am completely in love with fawad... and yeah they don't drag serials like indian ones...

Anything for Fawad! I dnt like the female leads in Ashk though.

Funny thing is tht i started off loving Imran abbas, so i saw his dramas first. Till then i had nt seen any of fawad's show, n i dint understand everyone's craziness over him. But then i saw humsafar😳

Fawad acts way better than most of the telly n bolly actors. His intensity reminds me of Aamir Khan.⭐️

I also love his accented English :)

Yeah thats what i love about Pakistani serials that the story is based on reality and we can relate to them. The story progresses so much in just one episode. They are not dragged either. Glad you liked them.

Meri zaat zara e benishaan is a good show watch that too.

I love shows from Pakistan too and I'm from India as well!

Fawad is awesome.. Humsafar, ZGH, I didn't like ashk so much tho.

I did watch another show kahi un kahi, which had usman, one of the supporting actors from ZGH in it. Liked that show too!

I'm waiting for fawad's new show numm to start.

The realism, acting and production values are so much better in Pakistani shows. Quality over quantity, plus no unnecessary drama to satisfy the TRP audience. It's a pleasure watching them

Fawad's a phenomena now...he's brilliant.

Have you tried Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan and Akbari Asghari? those also have Fawad in it. Personally. Fawad's character in Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan is one of my favorites. He was so good as Mujtaba to say the least. In Akbari Asghari, there's Fawad & Imran btw.

Also, since you mentioned you started watching Imran Abbas initially..you should check out Malal..he was amazing in that show.

Apart from that, there are many other shows that are awesome yet don't have Fawad..and when time permits, you should give those a try too.
