hey everyone!!😊

umm i needed a bit of a help...i actually didnt understand the term Jauhar, i mean i get it that they willingly sacrifice their life by jumping into the fire but what i didnt get is y they do these?? i mean when they showed the flashback of Rani Karnavati i really didnt get that y they did thses??? by sacrificing their lives how can they save their empire from a war or from getting destroyed?? 😕

plzzz sum1 explain i am really confused 😕

they do this becoz they know that the king is gone die in the war and eventually the enemies gone come and take their land as well as the queens, princess, and royal ledies and will misbehave with them so to save their honor they take jouhar...

Jauhar means the mass suicide of hindu women (Rajputanis). It was the Rajput custom of voluntary death by burning yourself and it was practiced by the women of the Rajput warriors when the defeat of a city or fort was inevitable.They did it to save their self-respect...

To avoid being raped by Muslim soldiers, to avoid enslavement by muslim rulers coz slavery meant becoming the sex slave in a harem.

To a RAjput, their dignity is most important.

They could die instead of surrend themselves to the enemy, especially for the women. They could not/will not lose their dignity to the enemy. Their dignity is their aan, baan aur shaan...So, they commited mass suicide to avoid being insulted by the enemy..

ooo ok i get it...OMG these was inhumanity but still if we think then these was better then loosing their self-respect on the hands of those evils...I SALUTE THE RAJPUTAINS
