Ma Durga asks the 3 Gods and all the devtaas to give her their powers ,so that she cud kill mahishasur...

the 3 Gods and the devtaas give their powers to Ma Durga ...

MA Durga takes the avatar of ASHTABHUJI...in this roop she is in the vanvaasi orange saree ...with floral jewels ...her hair beautifully decorated with flowers...she was looking the most beautiful woman on earth ...the 8 roops of MA DURGA were also with her in the vanvaasi costume...

they ask Ma Durga the reason for taking this beautiful avatar ...Ma Durga says that she first wants to break the patience of mahishasur with this avatar of hers...then she will kill him ...

one of the senapati of mahishasur saw MA Durga in that ashthbhuji roop...he was mesmerized by her beauty...he immediately comes to mahishasur and inform him abt the beauty and aura of MA Durga ...he tells mahishasur that he had never
seen such a divine and pretty lady in his life...

mahishasur was highly impressed ...he imagines of making MA DURGA his wife...

Precap-----mahishasur sends message to Ma Durga (ashthbhuji) that he wants to marry her...ashthbhuji says a big no and asks the messenger of mahishasur to convey the message that she cud never marry an evil like him and he shd soon leave the throne of heaven...becaz that doesnt belongs to him ...

Thanks for the update Sita.

They are showing the Shumbh's version of DSS for Mahishasur. Astabhuja Devi killed Shumb, Bishumbh & Ashtadashbhuja Devi killed Mahishasur. After all the Devas gave her their power, she had 18 hands. It's a confused combo of 2 stories.

or maybe they will show her astadasabhuja roop when the fight starrs?

first she will take a very beautiful roop and then just before fight starts will show her warrior self?

anyways, since when do mytho shows follow DSS to the T? be it here or anywhere.

She has already taken a beautiful lady's form. Her ugra roop will be good, she always looks good in action scenes.

One Mytho about Ma Durga used to come on Saturday evening, some years back, can't recollect the name. Had shown some version of DSS well. Even the one where Hema Malini had played Ma Durga, had the perfect fight with Mahishasur. He throwing mountains on her. His changing form from Asur to Mahish & she killing him when he was trying to come out of Mahish's body was perfect. That fight was as per DSS.

u mean maa shakti starring indrani halder or the one where shalini kapoor (prasuti of DKDM) played durga? around 2004/05.

This one seems to be a remake of Maa Shakti , same pose sitting same dialogue mouthing.

sagars really need to modify themselves with time.

I'm surprised that the serial hasn't shown the heavy-handedness of Mahishashur - forcing denizens of the earth to worship him instead of the tridevs. That's what prompted them all to invoke all the shaktis to kill him.

Otherwise, it seems uncharacterestic that Ma Durga would intervene to slay Mahishashur, after she's correctly blamed Indra for the situation by murdering Rambh and Mahisha.

The one starring Hema Malini was after Ma Shakti on Star.Though she looked old but played the part well. after that I haven't seen any Mythos. DBSK was the 1st one after a long gap & DKDM next.

This isn't a remake of Ma Shakti, it had MahaKali, MahaLakshmi, MahaSaraswati seperate & the Tridevis were different.

This was hurried hodge podge then. App shalini kapoor was good as durga. It was around 2006 I think. Hema malini as durga I think would be her home production.
