What was so SPECIAL about ISHQIYA?!!!!!

Since the prior topic Sallu passes the med test did not find any takers, changing the topic. So I watched Ishqiya the other day and this is actually the only Vidya Balan movie which I did not really watch in its full length. 😉 I have seen all her other great films like Paa, No One Killed Jessica, Dirty Picture, and Kahaani. Vidya had a raw edge in Ishqiya. But, somehow the movie was kind of boring in parts. I can see why it wasn't that big of a hit or anything. It was mainly a critics success. But, Vidya was great nonetheless. Arshad Warsi was okay and Naseeruddin Shah is always great! A lot of people find Ishqiya overrated. 😕 And I do agree partly. Vishal Bhadwarj has lost his edge in recent years and I wonder how the sequel will be. Please share your thoughts. What was so SPECIAL about ISHQIYA?!!!!! 😲

I tried watching it once but I fell asleep because I wasn't feeling well and I had taken meds. Then I didn't bother finishing it. Now I don't even remember what it was about.. but I do remember liking the cast and music. 🤔

I was bored.

Didn't like it.

Don't care if Vidya was playing the old hag and the lad.

Music and acting was pretty good though.

The film was catered to a certain audience. Not everyone is going to like a raw and edgy theme. 😊
