So far, everything seems to be unveiling except what actually happened between Nandini/Ani/Meera. But more to the point, where did Nandini come from? If, as the flashbacks suggests, Ani was 'more' in love with Meera (this is just a hypothetical reason, maybe he was, maybe he wasn't), then why was he with Nandini? And if we go with the view that Ani and Nandini had an arranged marriage, then when did he fall in love with her as well as being with Meera?
From what we have seen so far, there are many theories which could go either way. Of course, there are some secrets behind in the past back when Ani and Nandini were unmarried. Perhaps the house had originally been owned by Nandini's parents however for whatever reason that house has been given to Balraj. And to keep this, Balraj married Nandini to Ani for their waaris. But somehow, I can't help but think this is not all of it. Have you noticed how Balraj negative towards his older (dead) brother during the conversation with Agasthya? And then there was the question of the brother getting the company into ruins. PERHAPS, the house was Balraj's family ancestral home but had been taken into the hands of Nandini's parents (back when Bal's brother 'ruined' the business/house) and therefore lead to his death. (Again, just a theory as I don't know how Bal's brother died). Plus, where are Nandini's parents? I'm not sure whether I've heard this on the show, but maybe they are dead? This could have been after they had the house, which means Nandini is the true owner of the house? Therefore, to keep the property, Balraj got his son to marry Nandini. If they had children, everything would be simple and Balraj would still win. Right?
Well, everything seemed to go right UNTIL Ani died, Nandini had a miscarriage and Meera came into the view with the supposed heir of the house. WHICH could explain why Balraj might be so reluctant in bringing Meera in, because a) she's an unwed mother and b) it's Nandini's and Ani's child that would be the true heir.
But hold on, then there's Biji who is supposedly the one who knows all the secrets. Somehow, I doubt she knows all about Meera. Maybe she does, but there's something more than that, that she's hiding. Could it be linked to Balraj and their past? Or is there something much more darker than that?
