@Yovna: Yes there is truth in what is being discussed there.

There is no compulsion that anyone has to like Barun or Sanaya or anyone of the cast. To me the way some fans behaved - calling, spamming, sending petitions, harassing staff, actors or for that matter anyone associated with the show were all extreme behaviour!

This is why I keep saying that I am not a fan, because for all that is good in this world I do not understand this behaviour! I am able to switch off or change channels or walk away (esp when the remote is not under my control) when I don't like a show (even if the show has actors whose performance I like). Maybe if I was a fan I would understand…

But behaviour such as those is not limited to Barun fans, there's Sanaya fans (still remember how they behaved when PCA India announced the nominations), fans of stars from other shows have also been extremely vocal and passionate about their show & actor! It doesn't matter that they are not superstars, it matters is that they are in the public eye & have fan following. I am not even going to go into how some fans to superstars behave when it comes to their idol! But no, only Barun fans are the worst of the worst!!!

But what I don't get is why everyone gets brushed with the same colour! One can be critical, but make sure you are critical about the actual issue. There is no need to rely on reports by yellow journalists to make your argument for hating an actor or actress!

Barun Sobti is human & just as flawed like you and me. The only difference is that being in the public eye allows people to scrutinise every move he makes. I find it insulting when someone tells me that Barun is my God & that I am delusional because I was able to connect to the way he responded to a situation! Heck, I go the Sobti way a lot of time in my own personal life - (by Sobti way I mean, I don't know's)

Barun is a good actor. I agree. He has the most expressive eyes I've ever seen on TV or even films. That may be the main reason I kept watching IPKKND. But now that IPKKND is over, we all are looking forward to his future ventures. Since he is trying in BW, i really hope he makes it there.

As I said, Barun is a good actor. But the best actor? I don't think so. I think he still needs and still can improve his acting. He has improved since 3 last years but still can improve to impress us. I guess he himself doesnot agree when we say he's the best actor because I'm sure he knows he can do better. he himself said there's a learning scope in every thing. I was watching IPKKND few days ago and I found some flaws in his acting.

- Speech delivery. (might be because of ASR's role)

- Sometimes he lacks expressions

I know this is TV. They are pressurized and has to deliver the episode but this ain't gonna work in movie. BW is a platform where each and every expressions are observed so he'll need to be careful.

3 years ago he was still unfamiliar to acting and now he is the most popular actor on TV. I'm sure if he learns, he gonna do wonders.

Now, personality problems.

We all love the goofy friendly funny Barun, But BW is something else. He needs to add arrogance to his personality. He said in Gul's interview that it became a habit to keep his head down and walk. But now, he needs to keep his head high above all and show what he actually deserves.

And he needs to work on audio interviews, media interaction and mass public appearance.

Look-Wise.

I don't mind in long hair and stubble. But he needs to be more careful about his physical appearance as he is now in public eye.

I know some may tell me, that he did not try his luck for BW for fame. But honestly, i think if many join here (including Barun) is to get their talent recognised on a bigger platform with a more varied audience. Popular, fame and success are important there. Why would he act if no one's gonna watch it?

I'm very excited to see him rise and shine above all. He has a long way to reach the Khans. But I believe the day he gets a good script, an excellent lead role to portray with a good banner, undoubtedly he will make it huge. I'm hoping for the best for him. Yes, I feel he will succeed in BW.

My take y ksg didn't click as young angry business tycoon.

The ph had another show which gained international fame, to start off it

The character in your new show is same as that of the character Asr which has got people in different parts of world talking about.

Y de heck would people leave the character which had an impact on them for a character which is nothing but a poor and pathetic imitation of the character Asr.

Honestly if ksg would have acted normally like his own acting style it would have clicked,all they ever did was trying to replace the character Asr with asad and over did it to such an extent, you felt nothing but as an viewer they are trying to bank on the popularity of the character Asr which they gave us.
Asad is degradedd versions of Asr.

Same was with ASR when Barun started with IPK ... That din't stop him to make his mark.

That is what makes a human a human
He is one too right
And no one is perfect but barun is imperfectly perfect the way he is

humans are flawed and mortals. That's why they are allowed to make mistakes and learn from it. Sobti is no different imo.

We have seen only his work and don't anything about him in person. Its wrong to judge someone by few printed iv and tv clippings. So all this worshipping and bashing both are obcessive imo as behaviour pattern are same but only difference is the approach.
