Kool, what bugs me why is Onir staying in Mama/mama saas sasural? He can earn, does he have no self respect? And what with Purvi, how can she allow hersef and Onir to stay with Mama/Mami, if they can't go to Kol (for whatever reason) can't they rent??😕

Thats why Onir makes no impression on me

he doesn't correct his wife

he has zero self respect and stays with wife's mama mami inspite of mami doing insults

he has zero self esteem ...being kind and having no self esteem r 2 different things . He thinks he has been elevated by marrying Purvi and that kind of silliness puts me off

he even does crimes at wife's behest

and for all this slavery wife does not even allow the lovelorn fool to sleep up on the bed .

They have butchered Onir just as they butchered Arjun . The chawl cats surface only to taunt Varsha ...not to taunt Onir in a teekha manner .

Did you notice Onir face when Ovi said she trusted him completely….not a shade of guilt or remorse, this is what Purvi has done to him….I felt sad…my POV

Yes i noticed ...the Trinity has immense arrogance even about committing mistakes ...their justification is good intentions and 'bhalaai' of others ...just who gave them the right to do 'bhalaai' instead of minding their own freaking business is not asked by anyone [ that in itself would be a big 'bhalaai' to society] ...each mistake is tooted as a 'tyaag' and this very arrogance has rubbed off on Onir by staying in Purvi's company .

Kalapi,

If he had shown guilt or remorse, he would have been a total fool. Why should a person mirror every emotion of his on his face?

Onir is always low key and his face is bland, but this time, there was a fleeting expression of discomfort when Ovi said that. Then again, though he knows perfectly well, being a doctor, that the DNA test on him and Arjun will settle the matter neatly, he shows not a hint of relief either, nor does he react when Ovi says that she is sure he will help her with her plans to sue Mittal.

That is what I like about the way Shakti plays Onir. He is like still water, whereas the norm in PR is to ham away to glory, and the louder the better. They are all allergic to nuances, which is really an insult to the viewers. And that is passed off as good acting, Every emotion is up front, like a word being spelt out for a KG kid.

It was not just being low key ...at least i did not see it that way . He has zero remorse for his deed and believes implicity that Purvi , his wife has a right to 'good intentions ' . I like the actor but its the character that i have problems with now ...his medical knowledge of knowing that the DNA test will settle the matter neatly in his favour once and for all is merely using his medical knowledge for covering his crime and safeguarding himself . I see no character building in it , none at all . He is taking pride and relief in lying well . Character building would have been when Ovi's innocent and implicit belief in him would have tortured his professional conscience and he would have met her privately and told her the truth and taken all the flak with quiet dignity ...what Varsha is doing right now . Character development occurs on how you rectify your moral downfall . My POV .

Ok he shouldn't have shown total guilt for that could reflect that he did something wrong, but I could expect him to look sharply the other way or not to meet Ovi's eye ever again and something of this sort (nothing was shown like that and I doubt it will be shown in the future). He is unfazed because under the guidance and teaching of his Mishti, he himself has started believing he is doing good for some mahaan tyaag and some balaaii. What balaai and for whom? And who asked him to do balaai, and act God. If this was done to him, could he have accepted it ...that someone else is deciding on his behalf. All I can say, that the humble character of Onir is forever destroyed and his love for Mishti has done it. This is also the reason of lower TRP, for most Indian ppl can't accept unethical behavior, even if they have no way to stop those by themselves...it goes against the very teaching we grow up from childhood, to be noble and do right...and he being doctor😲

Hi guys,

Just caught up on all the posts! Shyamala Aunty good to see you and thank you for appealing to the moderators! But like Kalapi said, it will yield no result and you might get banned, as some of us already on the brink.

I find it extremely unfair how rules are constantly modified to suit a certain section of people on this forum and even though they talk about free speech, it really isn't free for some of us. I know that at times I do go overboard in my criticism ( an impulsivity problem I should learn to control) but I get MOD notes even when I am simply asking AROVI marriage to stay intact. I am sure MODS have a tough job controlling the constant reporting, but hey you are the MOD at the end of day and you have to be fair, not just succumb to popular and "aggressive" demand. It is simply unfair. I have been very irritated since yesterday and I have no capacity left to argue about it. I saw this one member who is an ARVI fan, but she wrote something positive about Onir I think, she got bashed for that. Can you believe it? She wrote some post yesterday apologizing for writing about Onir. I have nothing against anyone here personally, but I found this so strange that people literally attack you if you say anything other than ARVI. Even Asha Negi was not spared when she mentioned Shakti in her interview. I mean you can see, that some people are not really " sensitive" as is claimed. Anyway, I mgiht be reported and banned for this comment too, even though I am saying nothing against ARVI or their fans. Just stating what I observed on the forum.

Moving to Onir, I really like SA's acting like you said. I love the stark contrast between him and Arjun. Like you mentioned, Onir is like still water whereas Arjun was always very hyper in situations. So in that sense, I do like Onir's calm ability to tackle problems with a steady head. But then, how can I support a man, however calm, when he is using his ability to play God unfairly? There is really no guilt in his head about what he has done. As a doctor also, he doesn;t see the big deal. I just think that he is blinded by his love for his wife and he simply does anything she asks him to do without using his own brain on what is right versus wrong and thinks that she can never be wrong. It is truly irritating. Manav has become like that and Onir is simply following sasur.

I don't mind him winning the case, or outding Mittal and not getting punished. But then, should he not for once think they did wrong? Have some insight into how big a problem this is if Ovi ever finds out? Or how unfair they have been to the parents who lost their child?

On this count, Kools and Kalapi I am with you, that he is so far beyond in Mishti;s love that he is simply another spineless man. He thinks that just being around her is such a privilege that he doesn't feel the need for a bed, for marital rights or anything at all that he should rightly get. Last of all, he doesn;t even feel that she is thankless for everything he has ever done for her. He sees it as he cannot do without her, whereas it is the other way round. He is simply hen pecked now and I cannot stand his character either day by day.

Masti;s post on why leads are shown villains but projected positive and vice versa, I feel like I am fine if they show Purvi and Archana as leads and them to do wrong things. I am absolutely ok. Yes, as humans we all make mistakes so if they show that these two being leads are making horrible life choices and spoiling other people, it is fine by me. But then I want tem to show that they realize their mistakes, get reprimanded or punished and then justice is served. That would make a fitting lead in my head. Yes, mistake kiya, but realization is there and then they get punished also like what happens in reality too. But instead, they tout them as leads, they do unthinkable kartoots and then have no insight into their own kaands, other people have no insight into these leads ka kaands and they simply go unscathed from every situation that they have messed up. This is why the show doesn't sit in my head as normal. Anyway, futile to want sense out of it I guess.

Also, it is so weird when Manju's damaad is doing case on Onir, why is Onir living in the house? why is Manju keeping him in the house also? She can easily say that he has messed up her damaad ka naam, so he and his mishti should leave? Why Onor-Purvi cannot spend some of their money, stay in a hotel until issue is resolveD? After court case, they should leave for Kolkatta but well, Purvi won't. She needs to constantly supervise Arjun-Ovi marriage while paying no attention to her own. Like I said, one damaad has done case on another damaad on counts of wronging third damaad and still they all live happily under one roof and party and dance on poojas.

Pari, I absolutely agree on the leads and learning frm them and moving forward. But never such things happened in PR and everything that they dd wong has been trumpeted as being right and some weird sort of balaayi…

But, today I am having that Ovi showed unfazed at her daughter's paternity is being determined. Takes care of all the naysayers that Ovi had an extramarital affair….some good came out of this track😃

Kalapi, I was going to mention the same thing. SInce yesterday when they mentioned the DNA part, I did not see any tension on Ovi-Arjun because if Arjun was not the father of Ovi's baby, it would truly be another big tension on their head. And today when the result was announced, they both seemed unfazed and not relieved like Onir did.

Clearly, Ovi has been only in love with Arjun, is a one-man woman and has kept the sanctity of her marriage unlike Purvi, who had pre-marital sex with Arjun, gave him up like a toy, married another toy and might give up too if popular demand of this forum gets her re-united with Arjun. Too many men ka woman she is. I see Ovi being the lead more than Purvi, any day, and with more positive qualities than Purvi ever can dream of having. Ovi is protective of her child, loves her husband and child and gives the both top priority in her life, has many introspections of her behavior and apologizes to Arjun/Purvi/Onir whenever and keeps her family first and foremost. This is how we all regular normal women are. People who love husband and child, give family top priority and would fight with the world for them. Purvi on the other hand is EXACTLY the opposite of this and yet she is the one who is touted as lead and mahaanta devi or whatever.

Anyway, so glad Ovi is not blackened to whiten Purvi who is beyond repair now. Thank thank thank CV;s for this good move.
