So, things have not changed much in PR since the leap, only the sanskaars have been transferred.
Purvi is a mini Archana. Now we have two (2) Manavs, Arjun & Onir.
Sad part Arjun & Onir are nice young men, who should be strong and assertive.
Purvi, what a complicated young lady. I remember Archana at her age before marriage, she was far less complicated and even though just as Mahaan, she loved Manav in her own strange way. Yes, she made many many mistakes, but her mind was only on Manav, not even the 18yr separation made her see herself without Manav.

She would never have moved on like Purvi did from Arjun.
An Arvi reunion irrelevant after Purvi dumped Arjun mercilessly, he did not even get a good by hug. If she dumped him once she will do it again for some other cause, why put a man through this? Why does she look at Arjun like he is contagious? Why no softness or understanding of his rejection and pain?
Also, I find her connection with Onir far more mature and receptive than with Arjun. Even though they don't share a bed, I find Purvi more respectful and humble towards Onir.
It is clear to me that Purvi was infatuated with Arjun not in love.
Arjun's feelings for Purvi, is the same as Ovi have for him. The only difference, when Ovi realised earlier, that Arjun was not going to move on she was wiling to walk away. Arjun on the other hand is blinded by his love and weak for this love that is only one-sided.
I have never seen Purvi do anything other than have a weekend holiday romance with Arjun. He was always the one doing the eyelocks with meaning, giving the intense affections and making all the sacrifices. Purvi only took from him over and over again.
It is really sad to know that Purvi once again, cannot be a good influence on another man. It is her Duty as a lady and fiancee & wife to give good advice and not side with the wrong. What she asked of Onir in the name of Mahaan is completely immoral from both a humanitarian and business Ethics perspective. She has crossed all lines with her request. This will negatively impact so many lives especially Ovi's and Arjun's. Can she ruin Arjun's life anymore?
If Archana had just sat down Purvi from a young age and explained to her that Mahaan cannot be misused. That losing her family for 18yrs was not worth it. There is no such thing as doing bad for a good cause. That a lie is a lie and there is no lie for good.
Then I believe Purvi would have turned out differently. She would have told Ovi, no you cannot have my man, even though you had him first. You and your Mother must work out your differences, because I am not losing Arjun.
No, she did not reason things out sensibly, she acted emotionally, without thought after she slept with Arjun before marriage. What made her think Ovi wanted her sloppy seconds? Why sleep with a man then pass him on to your sister? Not even Archana did that with any of her sisters.
Supposed she did not find a man to marry her? What would she tell her family? Would she be in hiding forever?
Ovi, has evolved a lot. I always thought she was different from Purvi in a normal way. For a person who was told that her Mother abandoned her, I did not find her abandonment issues regarding Arjun abnormal.
It seemed pretty normal to be bitter towards the girl who won the love of your fiancee along with having your own Mother all to herself for 18yrs.
It could not be nice to know that your fiancee whether under "so-called," duress or not engages you, and in another country is allowing himself to get caught up with another lady without even informing you from earlier on.
Yes, Ovi should not have gone to such extremes to torture herself over a man who loves someone else, but is it that easy to just swtich off your feelings? ( like Purvi did) Ovi does not pretend or try to be perfect, so she behaves the way Ovi knows how.
Yes, Ovi was wrong to drink while pregnant, and I am glad she found the strength to stop. This is what I like about this character, she evolves like a normal person. She makes mistakes, don't claim to be perfect, and then she picks herself up after falling.
Now, I see a young lady who has matured a lot, through her mistakes and the realisation of them.
It may seem that way because she has Arjun, that is why she is okay, but I believe she would have eventually been okay otherwise. Mostly I admire her as a Mother, nothing like Archana, who passed around Soham like a doll, let go her other children for 18yrs, including Sachin who she promised Shravani, that she would take care of him for life.
Ovi, is a different young lady, and I can bet even it is confirmed that Purvi is the Mother of this sweet baby, Ovi will still want to keep her. If I was the courts, I would give the baby to Ovi. Purvi gave her child away after spending 9mths with swollen feet being pressed daily, weight gain and maybe sleepless nights not to mention hours in labour. To top it off, didn't she almost die with the baby? It was so sad to see Purvi make the same mistake as Archana.
Ovi is refreshing, she does wrong, realises and repents and tries to change.
Purvi, does wrong over and over again, and says I am right always right. How can this character evolve?
Punni, can only be Punni, She thinks like a shrewd business person. Punni you know what to expect from her at all times. She is just like her Mother, but way smarter😆 Manju played craps, Punni plays high-stakes poker😆 As evil as she is, she entertains me😆 She holds a straight face when she is plotting and lying, even though she knows no one believes her, she actually looks shock that they don't.🤣
She comes in handy for me against Purvi, that is the only way I can see Purvi looking stunned and speechless, when Punni exposes her.
Just loved how she exposed the breast-sucking fiasco. Purvi does not have it all together upstairs. I wonder why Arjun was not upset, maybe the thought made him feel good being in love with Purvi, the baby is his child afterall. Poor Ovi. I guess it must be pretty normal for Arjun for Purvi to do that since they were intimate. So, I guess we can't wrong the guy. He is still seeing Purvi as his wife. Poor Arjun.
Conclusion, I can't stay mad at Punni😆
Purvi exposed Punni, made her a disgrace, her Father publicly beated her, I don't know why Purvi thought Punni would ever be satisfied until she destroys her.
I think Ovi was being a bit hypocritical when she fired Punni for exposing Purvi. Come on Ovi, that was a bit too much telling Punni that she is always trying to turn her against Purvi. Purvi did that all by herself getting the love of your man and waiting for him to tell you she is the chosen one and always meddling in others affairs in general.
Not to mention the fact that Purvi don't need any help to be an enemy of anyone she does that all by herself with her actions.
MIttal, not surprised by anything he does. However, you gotta to give it to the guy, first strong man in PR, he refuses to go bankrupt for any lady love and her family. He gives gifts, but not lakhs of it.
Soham, I have not really seen much of him, because I hardly watch PR. However, what did we really expect from him, the Mahaan award for forgiving his parents negligence in giving him over to mad Aunt? This guy was given to his aunt who was mentally ill over not being able to conceive. Then he was brought up by her and her criminal boyfriend, did we seriously expect Soham to be normal?
Sulo, never fails me to show how selfish and misplaced her priorities are.
I miss the Savita who used to get all worked up and fire family members minus the bad behaviours that were not necessary. The less said about her husband is better for me.
Why is he giving Teju's fiancee love advice? what does he know about love? he never loved Savita.
Teju seems okay, I just wonder sometimes about her extra loyalty to Purvi, like when Ovi was supposed to be a new Mother and she could not stay in the hospital room because she was feeling Purvi's pain. Maybe I am the problem in not understanding😕
