Question of the day...

Barun said in his latest interview "I am not shahrukh". Do you all feel that he has the potential to bacome a next super star in BW??? What traits of Barun supports your views????

( I am not taking name of shahrukh because everybody has their own individualities and I respect that)

(There is one email address given in the last of interview "t2@abp.in" asking same sort of question. Reply to them if you feel so)

I will be little away and join you all in afternoon, till then happy discussion.

Barun said in his latest interview "I am not shahrukh". Do you all feel that he has the potential to bacome a next super star in BW??? What traits of Barun supports your views????

( I am not taking name of shahrukh because everybody has their own individualities and I respect that)

Becoming a superstar takes more than potential .. To begin with you shd have talent ... That Barun has plenty. ..
2. You shd have the connect with viewers ... They shd identify with you ... AB became so big as the times he worked in the then young India was angry at issues so he clicked big time ... SRK made this huge emotional connect as the "ordinary" boy next door who was lovable ... Something like Barun in real life ...Barun has that in abundance ... Have you noticed a lot of fans are attached or protective about him in addition to being attracted to him .
3.most important you need luck to get the proper project to showcase your talent , that project shd be made and released and appreciated ... That is the part on which everything depends now ...

👍🏼 thats a superb point there... its not just the attraction towards a "good looking actor",or "adoration towards a brilliant actor"... there is something more about him, that makes his fans make heart felt prayers for him...😊 a protective instinct, may be...

Barun has the talent and potential to become a superstar. But in this industry something else must click not only for the first film but for atleast the first few. Coming from TV and having a romantic hero image he has to attract the male viewers also. All superstars till now were able to do that. That is one thing he has to achieve, rest all is destiny.

Talking about this protective instinct, what the **** is this feeling? Why are we all having it for an actor? Never in my lifetime have I prayed about someones(who I dont know personally) career and well being. Can anybody shed more light on it?

This I found in Madmidas page written by movie-mantra

Barun Sobti: I think he looked to this film, where originally, he was just 1 among 4 male-leads, as a foot-in-the-door of Bollywood. But this was while he still had his foot in TV and we can clearly see the confusion in his act.. He cannot convince us of the happy-go-lucky Sukhi when traces of his angry-businessman- TV persona keep creeping in.. Midway through all his TVShow-closing controversy, MadMidas seized the opportunity and marketed him as the MAIN LEAD. He gives in a good effort, but his reluctance to jump into the skin of the character is transparent

What do you think?

Barun did happy-go-lucky Shravan very well. I find no reason why he would not be able to do Sukhi

He need not be next shahrukh or Salman... he will be barun sobti..and thats all I want... I dont know if he succeeds or becomes next superstar...but I know one thing that this man has potential - rare mix of talent and good looks...and most importantly he has this undefined energy...raw passion for his work... I believe if given proper opportunities , he can definately create a space in mighty world of bollywood..with just 3 years in television industry..he has shown us inspite of working constraints and challenges of TV ...his vast appeal to the audience..and that lies in the way he breathes life into character written on paper...now where script is not much into focus..where there is always time constraint..if he manages to shine in such situation...-be it action scenes...be it romantic scenes..be it comedy..all subtle and emotional scenes...then he can surely do wonders with a proper script..,better time schedules...Now will he make it...? I honestly dont know..but yes I want him to..as they are very less actors who have what this man has...and inspite of all this..I also feel he has many years to become what all other superstars have acheived...Shahrukh khan or Salman khan have 22 years of experience behind them..to have such kind of craze and following...Barun is just in the start of his journey... he surely has miles to travel... my all good wishes with that man...hope we can proudly say in the end...we followed his journey to superstardom...😊

Honestly I dont expect much from the movie..this movie he shot when he was also doing the show..and he did double shifts at time...when an actor is playing a certain role..he is living that role for 12-14 hours a day...and if admist that he shoots for this movie..I also believe he can have issues with adopting mannerism of happy go lucky sukhi..though he is very much like it in real life...somewhere i believe his role in the movie has not been written that much...as movie focuses more on female lead..and there are other co-actors too...and yes it is very much clear now...madmidaas is using barun's name to promote their movie..after they have witnessed his fan following..

they telling dt he didnt impress them by his acting in d film? if dt so, its so
