Well yes, I do have QuickTime player and tried. several times by converting the video into mpeg as well. But again the same problem. kismat hi kharab hai meri toh -_-

okay so I make avis in Photoshop CS3. The usual procedure, I render them to .avi format (used to do in .mov but those files were heavy and .avi works fine in PS so meh) in Sony Vegas and then import them to PS. I download HQ videos (480p from dailymotion) and they seem amazing in SV and when I import them. But when I want to save them, the end result comes all ajeeb like grainy grainy.

e.g. made this avi last night


and that irritates me a LOT! -_-
Can anyone tell me why is that?

If you have PS then why make avis in IR?
in PS you can import your video and immediately make frames , but in IR you have no video option , but folder option , so here you first make frames by yourself and then come into IR to make an avi.

for making avis in PS you should have an MPEG/MP4 video and "Quick Time" installed.
These are a must.

Then go to PS-File<Import<Videos as frames.
Select the length of your video you want to gif and set the capture per frame and you're done.

In Image Ready:
You should have a video player that allows you to capture each frame of a scene manually.
One good one is FLVPlayer4.

download an FLV format video or convert your video to FLV.

While your video plays in FLVPlayer you keep tapping the "C" key on your keyboard to capture every single frame per seamless second.

All captures will be saved in "My Pictures."

Make a folder for the captures there.

Now go to IR<File<Import<Folder as Frames.

your captures will now come as frames in one document like they do in PS.

theres also a "KMPlayer" where the captures will be automatically done with certain settings.

You can see the difference in the number of steps in PS n IR , so if your PS works good enough dont attempt avi making in IR.

but if your PS is sick of you like mine is IR does wonders that PS will never be able to.:)

try with an MP4 or MPG video , if it still doesnt works , then "kismat hi kharab hai"😲

both are brushes.
the above one is "paint splatter" type and the other is either "paint splatter/patch work/tag/tape."

You make a new layer either above your PSD , right at top of everything or below the PSD , to let the brush have some effects.
In the new layer apply the brush , in your choice of shape and color.
Now make a "text layer" above the brush layer and type your text.
Position the text over the brush and you're done.

In the colored text over grey , the text have "outer glow" put in white/dull color in Normal mode, adjustments made in its size.
