Hey all! Sorry I have been so sporadic this weekend but I had a family thing to attend which involved travel, so it was hard for me to be present. But the ZRA sounds wonderful and I can't wait to watch this fairytale performance I am hearing such rave reviews about!
@Indu and Kirthi: About the promo, that was just my prediction based in what I saw. If this is Yash's love confession I am sure the CVs have a way worked in there of convincing me that it is the right thing, they always do. 😃
Indu, I love the idea that it doesn't matter if the confession is real or not because what matters is the effect the realisation of Yash's feelings have on Aarti, and Kirthi if there is anything that is going to push Aarti over the edge and have her tell the truth then I am ALL for it!
I have been thinking a lot about the lead-up scenes to the one where Yash stumbles into the room, and why he was thinking of Bua's words at that moment, along with the mechanic. It is not him doubting Aarti, but rather doubting himself, asking himself the question, "how much more is there that I don't know about Aartiji?" When Bua spoke about the Dubeys' being Aarti's "dead" husband's house, I think it is the first time that idea really struck Yash, that the Dubeys had a living, breathing son, who was Aarti's husband, whom she loved very much and who she never talks about. Now again he hears of her with a strange man in the car.
We saw him assume the same attitude a few times before, and that was at KC at the Dubeys' when he came to fetch her. He sensed something being hidden from him that day and tried desperately to get Aarti to come clean to him, almost forcing a promise of honesty out of her mouth. Same with the day Prashant goaded him about having Arpita's picture. The Yash who was thus far so cautious about a delicate, pregnant Aarti just had to know that minute that it was in fact he, and not this well-meaning stranger, who knew Aarti best. And again it is happening, this time, in a much more intense fashion. I actually really liked the precap from Friday more than the promo, though it may be blasphemous to say so, because for some reason I loved that Yash sounded almost parental with Aarti in his speech about trust. This is in fact exactly what she needs right now. Some strong guidance from someone who really has her best interests at heart, and so I found that really moving, while the promo...well, the promo just confuses me! 😕
