Unprofessional conduct leading to chaos VB: Pg 143 - Page 48

I am a fan of this show just like everyone else. But I am also realistic. Let's face it, the show had no pull anymore. The story was done when Shyam track wrapped up. They still dragged on and we were making ourselves happy with the little Arshi scenes which were darn cute. In the big picture, however, the story itself had ended. We only had filler tracks since then.

In a way, Barun's quitting was a blessing. We get the show to end on a high note, instead of the trajectory it was taking to the bottom. Am I sad it is ending? Very. Am I relieved it is ending? Very. I would rather that IPKKND keep its high standards in its last 4 days than have 100 more days of lackluster tracks.

People will lose their jobs, but they will have a great show on their Resumes when they look for a new venture, instead of a crap show. So stop bashing Barun; stop thinking of the job loss. I would much rather have a show stay true than to continue for the sake of continuing.

Coming to your post, I don't have much problem with his keeping the truth. I don't think any actor comes out in open and accepts the next day after giving the notice that he has decided to move on.

It's the fans who interpreted things in a wrong way. I do not believe at all in their interpretation of his interviews & expressions & what his eyes say etc. I didn't believe when people said that he quit the show because he had problem with the track or because Gul insulted him etc. e should have had problem with the track long ago during DKS track.

Also, he is not a small kid who was blackmailed to say what Gul wanted him to say. I think the fans put too much pressure that even the PH had to come up with the idea if that interview. I am not defending the PH here. They, firstly, could not come up with anything nice after holi track.

I agree with the 'lack of commitment' part totally . After ages I watched today's episode and he looks awful! When Khushi walked down in that dress and ASR was looking her her, I somewhere started thinking that maybe they will show the calender shoot scene in FBs , but thank god they did not. The ASR back then and the ASR now are way apart from each other. What does it take to shave? max. 5 minutes?? I think he went to the UK show with the beard on - and people paid and went to see him like that?? Frankly, I just can't bear ASR for long time because of the shoddy looks.

Whether he does TV or Bollywood in the future, I hope he takes care of these things first - as they are totally in his control.

You know if barun had simply said yes I'm quitting back when the news broke in sept, it would've prevented the crazy theories coming out. People now think that his happened bc PH refused to hand over rights of show to Star. Yes bc Star runs on emotions and not business sense.

If he had been straight from the start, he wouldn't have had to do so many interviews to clarify and further make a fool of himself. Even media people started to call him vague with his answers.

He decided to do something a little too late and then he bombed all the attempts
