Yes DMG was pretty complex! To me Arhi are ultimate and nearly close were Armaan and Riddhima...most of their episodes were watched umpteen times in youtube...But it was such a pathetic mess at the end of the day! I sincerely hope instead of giving a happy ending on the last day this time they do a graceful exit for our show! But after Sanaya's interview does not seem so trina!

I will tell you what will happen next! The new guy and Khushi will end up with some fans! Old fans will stick on with Arhi there will be a war between us and them! This is exactly what happened the last time! That is why I am not sticking on here have already started browsing through other channels for some serials...Madhubala seems interesting and she is Sanaya's friend sorry Sanaya but I can't see khushi with anyone else one riddhima was enough for me! I will watch till arhi are there and then quit that is my POA!

I very well understand the situation.because I started watching that show after the male lead left... so I liked the newlead with the female lead..but my sis was an avid watcher frm the beginning so she obviosly didn't like and quit watching...

The truth if asked to Sanaya would also be that she signed a contract for one year as all contracts with actors are for one year, or until the end of the show, whichever is shorter. And then at one year, the contracts are up for re-negotiation.

It is absolute hogwash to think that an actor who is unknown has the upperhand in contract negotiations (although I started watching IPK only for Barun).

Exactly can't agree more with u...A love triangle should have done before... Then it would have in this mess..My main problem is that story is getting changed with one actor's leave...Does not want compromise in the story .sorry... Arnav and Khusi r starcrossed lovers.they r meant to be together...no one can separate them...How ridiculous...

firstly i dont think it is true

Barun was not such a star then

just a simple actor with a few not so great shows

he wud never have set such terms

if he had why wud he come back and spend 10 more months and quit just before the end

I agree...all contracts are for 1 year...so it was not something done only for Barun...No one sets out thinking we will wind up a daily show on SP that too within 1 year or so...Infact the story was slowly developing in the first 8 months...if they wanted to wind up wouldnt the pace have been much faster...Shyams truth was the only track going on at the time...then the whole Past etc was left...

Anyway...based on how some posts got edited and closed down, even I am finally thinking there may be more to the story than I believed

Btw this was supposed to be Starcrossed lovers story as in Arhi. Where's the place for another male lead here?
Starcrossed lovers are not supposed to have HAPPILY EVER AFTER with someone other then their soulmates.
Either they live happily together or die together.
What a mess.

I am guessing that Sobti was not some BIG Shot before IPK happened.
He even said that he auditioned for the show and he kinda expected that it will be popular. Well maybe he never expected it to be soo popular but still. In that case how is it possible for a practically new and not so famous actor like him to make a deal with 4Lions that he won't stay beyond a year. Why would a channel like SP would agree to such conditions.

Even I had the same question... If this was the reason, how come Barun himself never told that... Barun or Gul could have brought this up in their lovey dovey coffee chat.. Why is Sanaya the one who is telling this to us?? It could have made clear by Barun himself..

These people are creating reason after reason.. This is just like the numerous flop tracks introduced by the CVs... Believing something would gain trp...similarly thinking something would make us accept the fact that Barun's quitting is reasonable...

And Gosh!! Even I agree Sanaya when she told that the show is not about one person... But darling...the show is about Arnav and Khushi.. And when there is no Arnav, half of the show is dead... So Arnav's character is NOT JUST one person...

I wonder whether they'd go for a plastic surgery which is quite common in Indian TV.. 😆 Or will Khushi fall in love with another person, say, after about another year of MUs and contracts and Rabba veys... Oh, and they will certainly have to introduce something else other than Rabba vey if they are gonna do this... Not that I'm gonna watch whatever it is... But it's impossible to imagine Khushi Rabba veying with someone else other than Arnav... Maybe this was their plan all along... After such drama and romance...and marriage after much struggle..they are gonna separate.. Iss pyar ko 'vasatav me' kya naam doon???

What I see is 'Dirty Politics'... all this look like political dramas...😕

Trina i totaly agree vith u! Yes actors r initialy signed for 1 year bt thts nt posible that an actor states dat he wil nly work for an year! And that too an actor who was nt popular at that tym and a chanel like Sp agreed! Wow! Unbelievable! And all actors sign fr 1 yr only initialy so why mention abt Barun alag se! It vs again like *gul mahan hain unhonein Barun ko rakha when he didnt want to* and i dunt buy this. I cn imagn barun vanting to take a break in feb, but quit? Puhlez! Infct in that gul interview Barun mentiond he wantd to take *break* in feb but he no where said he ws thnking of leaving the show!
