I think Pt. Bhimsen Joshi also sang for a movie called Ankahi by Amol Palekar. The title of the song is "Raghubir tumko meri laaj" Here is the copy of it. I hope it copies it.

Shiv Kumar Sharma used to play tabla before he took to playing santoor. He played the tabla in "piya tose naina laage re" (Guide). He says he has played santoor in many many Hindi film songs. I don't know the songs specifically.

somethng tht is at times called fusion. bt somehow i hav lot of reservations abt thm. still salilu i feel Subha Mudgal should b added. she still do classical live programs.and do it really well.i got the chance to hear her few months bck at KgP & she was jst awesme 👏 it was a pure classical program by her & few others.

I too think that Shubha Mudgal is first and foremost a classical singer so her name should be in there. She was just awesome in Raincoat...

I think we need a correction here... Kishori Amonkar never sang for 'Prithviraj Sanyogita' and 'Gopichand Jasoos'. She sang only for 'Geet Gaya Patharonne' and 'Drishti'.
