Obituary ads have their own fair share of fun...the person may have been wicked, mean and nasty all his / her life but he / she only leaves for a pompously declared HEAVENLY ABODE!...and the ones who the departed soul has left behind...cry khoon ke aansoo in ALL obituary ads...in reality, whatever the scene might have been!

I really dnt thnk dat Urvashi can say dat.. Yahaan tak k Kasauti mei woh khud Bengoli thi.. Sara parivar hi bengoli tha.. Ekta ka serials mei to waise bhi bengoli families hi hoti hai.. infact Urvashi nay Kasauti k elawa  bhi bengoli roles kiey hain Ekta Mayi k serials mei.. so i really dnt thnk dat urvashi can say such type of thing..!!! You know it wasn't always like that in the west either, but atleast they are honest about their past and willing to discuss the issues.  We unfortunately have ultra nationalists who think India is the be all and end of all of civilization and that there is nothing wrong with us. Accepting a mistake is the first step. We go into other countries with this holier than thou attitude and then earn the scorn of every other ethnicity. The indian news media also plays a very negative role in this, they keep gassing up the false indian ego.

@Bingo: That's exactly the problem I have with the old age Indian mentality. Certain people, all they can yap about is how great Indian culture is or that Indians are the only ones with culture. I mean how ridiculous that sounds. It's a wonderful feeling to be proud of one's culture but to boast about it and use it as a defense against the weakness is bizarre and wacky. This reminds me of SRK in his movie Swades, loved his perspective and interpretation of certain people's mentality.

About the west, again it is a broad topic to be discussed on this forum. Western countries also have their share of prejudices and weaknesses. Even here there are so many girls or boys who lack self esteem or confidence for various reasons and that does include the aesthetic aspect. Anyways, don't wanna do into details since we are deviating from the topic.
