Some questions that have been bugging me
1) Shyam cracked too easily.
2) How much of the truth will out now? Will the Khushi , Bauji truth be out too .. so that shyam can never never come back to RM!

Newbiezz 😛,
I didn't think Shyam cracked too easily. Tried to explain it in my post.
On 2, I think that will be saved for a later day - after all that is a secret only he and a mute man know. With that will come the attack on Anjali's life too - My view.

Diya what a beautiful word picture u have painted here...I rewatched the whole episode in my mind's eye just by reading what u have written.

Yesterday Khushi as Anjali made me feel much more for Anjali than Anjali herself could ever make me feel...even though I knew I ought to have felt for Anjali...but I never quite could...that just says it all about Anjali, doesn't it?
I think the whole cast and crew did a stellar job yesterday.

I just wondered whether a seasoned player like Shyam who can worm his way out of any situation broke too soon and too easily...its only 24 hrs in IPK time since they started playing mind games on him...was that enough to bring him to this point?

But now that Shyam has decided that he might else well spill the beans now that he has been found out...is he going to arrogantly gloat at his own cleverness and how easy it was to fool not just Rani sahiba but everyone else too...and spill his guts about the earlier events too starting from his first encounter with Khushi? Or will that wait for another day?

Shyam's acts were too heinous for just getting back to shantivan to be the motivation...that sounded rather lame...so I hope there is more to it than that.

Lets see what tonight brings.

Yes, Biraj, I hope they show more of Shyam's motives today ... including the fact that everything he said about Khushi the first time round was a pack of lies ... Anjali needs to know how he got engaged to Khushi for one thing ...
I guess the attempts on her life and that of Shashi babu won't come out yet ... but I hope he admits to the kidnapping at least ...

Why he broke so quickly ... it was within 24 hours ... that's why I wonder, did he really break? Or did he realize that this time they had enough evidence to convince Anjali ... well he did that himself ... and that was his only tie to the house, he wasn't going to be allowed to stay any more. So play mad and get out himself? Will have to see how it plays out today.

The episode was really good ... I rewatched every one of the repeats ... something I haven't done for quite some time. (Since 21st Sept to be precise 😆)

Wonderful post Diya👏⭐️The episode rocked in terms of drama, emotion. Each and everybody emoted aptly.Abhaas Mehta was awesome as the cornered and pschyed our Shyaam...in fact that scene where he closes his eyes and reopens it to give everybody a glimpse of the actual evil, deranged, manipulative Shyaam was excellent. Also the way he said " ek choti si short circuit aur Dhaam se giri Ranisahiba" gave me goosebumps.

He was excellent!!! Really spine chilling ... well done, Abhaas! 👏👏👏
Was that last bit an act??? We won't know for now, I guess ... let's see what tonight brings.

SI as usual great...her voiceover with perfect emotional modulations, her emotions were totally rivetting. And she definitely looked gorgeous.

Khushi was the sutradhar ... and she made an excellent one. Of the trio who were in the act she was the automatic choice to do the narration, Arnav had to sit with Anjali, for support, and also to make sure she sat through the whole story and didn't run away ... Sanaya's voice modulation is easily among the best on TV today ... and I loved her sarees ... the stupid cv's didn't even give us a full glimpse of the first one 😡😡😡

BS : Not much to be said as all have been said a zillion times...this man needs to get his eyes insured...they speak a thousand volumes without requiring any words.Today we got to see the determined, sad brother looking after his sister.Makes me wish I had a brother like him.

His eyes are his best feature, they are so expressive!!! His pain for the pain his Di is going through, his determination, his sorrow and regret ... all beautifully displayed.
I am happy ... I do have a brother like him ... mine is even better, though I'll never admit that to him!😉 But I really connected with Arnav's pain yesterday and Monday because I could totally imagine my own brother feeling equally helpless and angry
and murderous if ever (god forbid) I was in such a situation ... BS was so good!
AD : AKshay as Aakash also excelled today...he displayed a range of emotions from anticipation, suspicion, astonishment, horror, anger, disgust without actually saying anything.⭐️

Totally agree ... Akash was a star! Never could have imagined such contained fury in his face! I WISH the cv's would use him better ... we have such a talented cast and they're just wasted!
Nani and mami were also spot on.
Nk...this character has really progressed in IPK land...initially the buffoon and the jealousy angle for Arnav has come a long way to be the real "sakha" of Khushi,a wellwisher of Arshi and a true brother also looking after his cousin's interest. Way to go NK.

I am in love with NK ... he is such a sweetheart! Hanuman to the Arnav-Khushi Ram-Sita, the 'Sakha" to Khushi ... his role has developed beautifully and so has Karan as an actor. Every girl needs a friend like him!
So looking forward to today's episode when Anjali Singh Raizada arises from the ashes of Anjali Manohar Jha.

So am I ... but not too much time on the rising please! 😆 We have a hot couple waiting for their honeymoon and some quality alone time here! Watched by a few hundred thousand fans of course! 😆
Thanks Jujube!!!

Episode 360 - well well well indeed a faceoff 360!

Sandy, you're breaking your own rule 😆
And I never realised it till you wrote it ... episode 360 ... what a 360 indeed!!! 👏

Between a man clad in a 3 piece suit & another in an Indian kurta

Between the devil seeming hero & the god seeming villain

Between a brother & a husband

Between Arnav Singh Raizada & Shyam Manohar Jha

On a dark night, 7+ months ago, a dark side of Shyam's life was revealed to Arnav. He confronted his jija who without shame & any compunction confirmed the truth:

I never loved Anjali. But I am head over heels in love with Khushi. Khushi is my life, my junoon, my everything. She & my love for her are now a part of the blood coursing my veins. And only one woman stands between us - Rani Sahiba!

When a brother reacted in anger, at the deceit to his Di, to himself & his family from the man they all had loved, accepted & respected, Shyam had mocked Arnav.

Shyam had taken pleasure in the chatpataana of the caged Arnav. He told Arnav that he could no longer hide the truth of his love for Khushi from Anjali & perhaps time had come to tell Anjali the truth.

Shyam had challenged Arnav to stop his ghisi piti dhamkis / threats to Shyam & go & try to tell his Di everything. He said what can you do at the most? tell your Di the truth about me & my love - go make haste go tell her he mocked. And finally twisting the dagger he had moments ago plunged into Arnav's heart, Shyam very confidently & mockingly said, even if you do manage to tell her do you think she will believe you?

The challenge thrown by Shyam that day was received & today ASR gave his response in a manner befitting a Gladiator! Sau sunaar ki ek lohar ki!

Arnav did not have to tell his Di anything nor did he have to try & make her believe him over her husband. Shyam did all his work for him. Once the circumstantial proof collected had been showed to all, Shyam was quick to refute it all as a falsehood, a plan to malign him.

Did Arnav then accuse him of what was on screen ... Oh No! For whatever his emotional faults maybe, shaatir Arnav learns from his mistakes. He knows what happened the last time Khushi asked Di to believe her words. The attempt failed. So today he goes for the jugular using Distract & Attack. Arnav accused Shyam of another bigger crime knowing in his haste to deny Shyam will let slip his complicity in the actual one ... of killing the baby! Automatic confession!
Yep, we discussed this so many times, didn't we? That Shyam HAS TO CONFESS HIMSELF ... only then will Anjali believe it. And they did the perfect set up ... shake his confidence thoroughly first with all the repeat incidents ... and then the final set up. That was Khushi's idea all through, and Arnav carried it through to the final conclusion ...

Arnav who all evening sat through the drama of seeing his Di's life replayed before him ... (am sure that fateful night would have crossed his mind when she was smiling only to have her smiles wiped out by death & defamation). He knew where this was all heading. It was torture for him to sit & relive every moment knowing he would be unable to change any single one & thereby influence the eventual outcome of pain for his loved one. So he sat & chose to inflict pain on himself by suffering manifold, for his Di, for his failure to protect Di & her happiness. Just like the other day when he stood by to see Khushi being maligned & slammed by Shyam because he had not proof & hence no other way to bring out the truth.

And once the last card had been played, he swiftly pounced on Shyam making sure Di heard 2 vital messages ... the family never believed Shyam after the earlier tamaasha at home. Nani & Arnav let him in only for Di's sake.

When Shyam confessed to killing the baby and his evil intention, ASR stepped back letting the man hang himself for he had won his challenge.
About Shyam confessing

This has been coming for the past 7 months since that night of the Payash wedding. That night he had told Arnav that he was fed up of living a lie, doing this drama. So it was better to tell everyone especially Anjali the truth. He may not have meant it then.

But since that night, Shyam has gradually been suffocated and frustrated. He has lived with the fear of being exposed and with all the psycho attack on him in the past 2 days, he is on edge. Besides knowing the family hated him, seeing them do all this only for Di's sake seemed amiss because he also knew Arnav tolerated him but would never condone a celebration of a dead relationship ideally.

Since that night, money and Khushi his primary likes were taken away from Shyam. His hope that perhaps Khushi was bending towards him also died when she saved Arnav by duping him. Perhaps with the loss of the child he hoped for that one more chance to make a dent in Khushi that perhaps he was feeling remorse and had changed.

But after the play, after what he had seen, knowing what the family knew, understanding that his only hope of still continuing in the family would be as an eternal slave to Anjali whose belief in him had also been shaken today. So slave by lie or some maan by truth? Then Shyam took a deep breath allowed all the frustration of the months past to seep out and let his true self emerge. He said what he had always wanted to say what he was actually feeling because after today the family would in no way let him be with Anjali how much ever she begs and pleads.

So why pretend now? Instead the anger at the spate of defeats recently and his perceived self victimization / selfish utilization by the family (nani and Arnav dialogues of Anjali ke liye) came to fore. And he accepted his deed. Besides I have always wondered if Shyam had actually welcomed the baby or since that day seen it as a hindrance in his plan to be with Khushi. Because Arnav did tell him in the 2nd face off that night that if Di had not been pregnant he would have chucked Shyam out of her life forever.

Interesting points ... do you think it was Shyam's true self emerging? Or was he play acting the psycho madman? Or a combination of both?

He was not in the least attached to the baby, that's for sure. It was only a means to keep Anjali tied to him, a means to stay in RM, especially once Khushi was also under the same roof ...

And yes he knows that after the confession that even if Anjali begs and pleads, he won't be allowed to stay in RM any more. And Anjali knows that the dhol player was him ... he can't even deny that ... his own plan backfired on him there ...

Anjali and Khushi - 2 victims of Shyam:

I am speaking of Anjali and Khushi's reactions at the end when Shyam accepts his hand in the deed of killing his child:

Anjali was indeed sleeping all this while. Her wake up gong has been sounded. She was resolutely blind and deaf to everything around her in her desperate need of a happy family. Only if that was in place she was able to be happy. She need both a doting brother and a loving husband all this while. From hereon what happens, we will see..

But it was Khushi who though awake had not truly woken up.
Jaanke anjaan hum banein
Dekh ke andekha humne kiya

Rightly she should not have been shocked when Shyam confessed to his crime of killing his baby but she was. Because someplace within her, she still believed he could change.

I watched again after I read this ... I felt she was not shocked at his confession, but more at the gloating and lack of guilt and regret with which he said it ... She already knew that he had killed the baby, she accepted it to Arnav the other day in the car park, when she apologised for bringing Shyam back. The others, Mami, Nani, Payash were shocked at the revelation that he had killed the baby ... not Khushi.

Despite knowing how he had duped her, misled Anjali and the Raizadas, tried to kill Arnav, lusted after her in Arnav's absence though she was married - all because he said that one line at the hospital about pain at the loss of his child. She again chose to forget the past and looked only at the present.

Khushi has been the bigger victim at Shyam's hands yet she allowed herself to be swayed at his words. The attack on babuji will have to have a bearing in the context of Shyam victimizing Khushi.

She tells Arnav to accept the past and its lessons and make it a part of his life, but has Khushi indeed done so in her own life? I think not.

I don't think she will trust Shyam ever again, But has she learned the bigger lesson? That there are some people who cannot change ever? I don't think so ... she will continue to look for the best in everyone ... and this is Khushi's core belief, when you look for goodness in people, they show you goodness, when you look for the bad in people, that's what they show you. And it's true in most people ... there are a miniscule few who are bad to the core. Which is why we keep looking for reasons for Shyam to behave the way he does ... we also believe his evil has to have a reason behind it.

Shyam spoke of the allure of Shantivan - I believe it was the allure of wealth and nearness to Khushi.
A chance to fleece Anjali and perhaps earn a better image in Khushi's eyes.

He had once told Babuji that he needed Rani Sahiba for the money but in his other hand he would always have Khushi. He told Arnav on the night of Payash wedding that Khushi and his love for her had now become a part of his very lifeblood. "ragon mein samaa chuki hain.."

And therein is the potential next act of the play. We will know more once we see the epi tonight play out

We will know more after tonight ... but I agree with you ... the curtain has only fallen to change the scene ... picture abhi baaki hai, mere dost 😉

Wonderful post!! You analyzed and summed up the episode beautifully. I loved the episode too, its about time good wins vs evil. I just had a couple of tiny criticisms.

For instance...Shyam recording himself trying to hurt Anjali and then killing his own baby. Who does that? Why wasn't Anjali lying and meeting Shyam behind everyone's back recorded as well? That was conveniently left out because that would mean they have to acknowledge her wrongdoing and they can never do that because she's always the poor, innocent baby. DB's voice and expressions are totally over-the-top in trying to portray that, which always makes me more annoyed at Anjali than sympathetic towards her. I felt sorry for Anjali for the first time yesterday only because of the way SI narrated the story.

It would have been more realistic if NK had recorded Shyam-Khushi's conversation on the terrace...that would reveal Shyam's true face and Khushi's innocence...kill two birds with one stone. But then again, this show is all about giving justice to Anjali and her family, not Khushi.

Khushi looked stunning and graceful in minimal make-up, jewelry and a simple hairstyle. Anjali looked tacky and not very good...even with the better saree, hairstyle and accessories. Now I understand why they always try to bring Khushi's beauty down a notch by giving her those shapeless tent dresses and hair clips. They don't want her overshadowing the Raizada's daughter (she still does anyway, its the natural beauty).

I loved this episode, tight screenplay, execution was perfect and the cast will brought their A game here

I actually loved the scene where Shyam was losing his mind when NK played the sound of a baby crying and the ultrasound. The shaking hands was a good touch, he had every reason to be freaked out. I am surprised he didn't breakdown there, but it did push him further to the edge as he was constantly shown looking over his shoulder during the skit

I loved NK's line to Shyam about dhamaka, isn't this what Shyam said when carrying out his plan??? What a 360, this was definately a huge dhamaka for Shyam one that he never saw coming. Kudos to Arnav, NK and Khushi for being well prepared this time around and leaving no room for him to counteract them like he did last time. Driving him to his breaking point was perfect so he himself could confess

I thought Anjali did good in this episode, she showed the right touch of emotion when Khushi talked about her baby and when reality started to hit her she did not want to accept it but fortunately this time Arnav did not try to shield her from the truth and let her see and hear it all. It was painful and horrifying but something that needed to be done.

Nani and Manorama were perfect when they discovered the truth though I have to ask why they looked so shocked when Shyam confessed he brought Dadi? Dadi already admitted to that when Arnav confronted her, so their reactions threw me off.

Payal and Akash were too good especially Akash who stood out in this episode. I have never seen this side of him but I loved it, obviously he will be angry and protective of his sister. Anjali is very fortunate to have 3 brothers who love her so much which is why I hope the CVs show her apologizing to her family for manipulating them for the likes of Shyam especially given the fact he kidnapped Arnav, lusted for Khushi. I really want to see Anjali thinking about this and realizing that in her blinded love she did wrong to two people who mean a lot to her.

Thanks Mandy ... great take! The episode was damn good ... kept you glued to the screen for twenty minutes, and every single member of the cast was totally in synch! I loved NK ... Karan's dialogue delivery was excellent ... that slight inflection on "jeeju" ... just the hint of sarcasm, not missed by Shyam, but again natural, because Shyam knows that NK dislikes him ... NK's earlier friendliness was more likely to arouse suspicion, not this tone. These little details were what made the episode so good ... the main cast is always very good and the general picture comes through ... but the details like this make the difference. Which was why Nani's and Mami's expressions were a little off at times ... Payash were absolutely in character all through, they were impeccable. Daljeet was quite good ... I liked her last expressions when she seems to go numb ... I hope that's what she was supposed to portray! 😆

And I really hope Anjali reflects about her role in all this drama ... there was that moment when she looks at Shyam ... she knew he was the dhol player, she didn't know that by letting him into the house, what she was leaving herself open to ... but now she should realize what she did ...

The amazing thing was that today Barun and Sanaya actually took a back seat in terms of acting ... Arnav and Khushi knew the whole story, so their role was as caretakers ... Khushi was of course the sutradhar, not letting her emotions show, and Arnav was the chief warrior guarding and supporting Anjali, again keeping his own emotions under control ... the emoting had to be done by the supporting cast and they all came through brilliantly. And Shyam of course ... today was Abhaas's day and he was brilliant.

Diya its been ages since I read you! What a fabulous post..you have captured every emotion every word of the epi!👏

The episode was brilliant in all ways, acting script, direction, execution...amazing show down of the villain of the show which we have been waiting for so long!

Loved the way Arnav was near Anjali ready to hold her the second she needs him...and kushi being the voice for both of them aided aptly by NK..it was just a perfect episode. Sanaya was looking gorgeous in the blue saree..Haiyye why did they nt continue with the same saree😳

Even Akash was superb ...the first time during Arnav's kidnap he had not trusted kushi...so much so that he had started calling her 'kushi' instead of 'kushiji'...he owes her an apology there. Where is Shweths she should be delighted to see her Akash get a role!😆

And Anji..what to say abt her...I loved how she patted her hubby when he came down...exactly like you do to your pets!🤣
