I actually feel sorry for Devaki
We are talking names, so going to add my tale of woes here, with a name like Kalyaani it's sure not easy; especially in an engineering college and studying a discipline where the boys to girls ratio is 20:1. Kallu, Kalli (thief in Kannada at times a back handed endearment, coming from guys you can't stand, not nice at all) and how can I forget Kallu Mama. I have always liked my name but the four years in engineering college were irritating.
Shakespeare said "what's in a name?" and I say bloody hell there is everything in a name.
~Edit~ my uncle had suggested a few names and when I got to know of them, I sure wanted to kill him; glad my parents did not listen to him.
