Gumrah back with season 2 on channel V




Alt Entertainment (Ekta Kapoor) and Lost Boy Productions' juvenile crime based showGumrah on Channel V became an instant hit with youngsters. The show ran 13 successful episodes.

Cashing on the popularity Star Plus is showing the repeat episodes and impressed with the audience's reactions, the makers of the show are all set to come up with season 2 of 'Gumrah' on channel V.
Season 2 will go-on air from July 09, 2012 and will be aired daily (Monday - Friday) and each episode will illustrate new spine-chilling stories of crime. The first five days (Mon-Thurs) of the new season will show the reconstruction of the criminal incidents.

But on the sixth day (Friday) of every week the show will try to look into the mysterious world of crime to explore the different moods and emotions that drive these young minds.
The first episode will try to show the pressure that kids go through during their exams. This particular episodes will see some popular faces like Heli Daruwala aka Saloni of Hum Se Hai Life, Yatharth Agnihotri of Nach Baliye fame, Pragati Chourasia of Betaab Dil Ki Tamanna andDelzad Hiravali from the film Bubble Gum.
Speaking on the announcement, Ekta Kapoor, Joint Managing Director, Balaji Telefilms, said "Gumrah as a concept has huge potential. The show has a direct connect with the audience as it is factual and relatable. The show is doing exceedingly well and it was only fair to give the audience more of what they like. Gumrah Season 2 will live up to its expectations and envisage a success story of viewership."
