Please don't keep quoting the post that said that Khushi likes the snake, that's why she is not retaliating. By losing your temper over it, and keeping on repeating it, you are actually spreading that message. Please don't give importance to such immature posts which are obviously not worth discussing.

It won't be very easy to defeat Shyam on your own or tell everyone the truth about him. No one will believe her thats why she needs Arnav on her side. Its about her sister's life and he will support her once this misunderstanding cleared

Sometimes we don't see/understand things from their point of view. Thats important

Shes already worried about Arnav and desperately wants to clear her name. God knows how it feels when someone blames you and calls you characterless. So theres a lot pf pressure, needs to take it easy and plan it well.

I wish Anjali wasn't pregnant. :S

It's not you. But most people put the expectations from Khushi after all that she has gone through

Rima... At any level i don't expect khushi to be the same. She is broken from inside. That does not mean she should run around RM crying in bottles.

Let me ask you one question (reverse of yours)- > why do people expect khushi to shed tears every now and then thinking what happened to her!? She is strong and her character is strong. Hasn't she proved that fact earlier? Isn't that trait of her behavior is well established? So why do people need her tears? Let her be strong!

No one is missing or belittling her goodness and her predicament. Just because I wanted a different reaction from khushi on her encounter with shyam today, does not mean I don't honor her deeds.

Btw i think we am jumping the gun too soon because Shyam - khushi scene is not over. Monday it will continue. So may be i should save my verdict for monday.

I wish she knew shyam lied to Arnav about their relationship, she wouldn't have wasted her time tryna get him talk to Arnav.

They all trust shyam a lot so it wont be easy for Khushi. She needs to clear her name first before shyam blames her.

Rima as always ..i agree with your post..it is upsetting that they thibk khushi should do all those stuff..everyone says that you can hit him ect..but when it come down to iy I bet most people would freeze or do nothing!!

It makes me think sadly this is how society is.

When a girl is raped or molested all fingers turn to her and say:

The only person to be blamed for this is Shyam.

Sexual Harassment is a scary thing and I can understand why Khushi is silent and not does not react to him aggressively... there's a lot of factors oppressing her from speaking out... and frankly it's really not that easy speaking out...

but at the end of the day the only way to stop this harrassment is to get this out in the open in front of the whole family... perhaps no one will believe her and will side with Shyam while giving her the cold shoulders... but like someone else in the thread mentioned Khushi is a smart and intelligent young woman and she should start collecting proof of Shyam's harrassment.

It won't be easy and a difficult journey for her but frankly when is dealing with sexual harrassment ever easy???

I think Khushi is doing the best she can at this moment. Khushi and the Gupta family made the mistake of giving Shyam a chance.

On Khushi's defence, she did it for Anjali.

But the Gupta ladies ( Buaji and Garima) were thinking about Payal. The mistake was made by Buaji. She caught Shyam lurking around during sangeet practice but she kept quite. If not anything else, she should have told Khushi to stay a bit careful.

But at this point Khushi is all alone. She is worrying about Arnav, who is already a victim of the MU. She is trying to contact him, she has to worry about the Will and Shyam is getting more dangerous with every passing minute.

She is only beginning to be realize how dangerous and psychotic Shyam really is. It is wrong to expect Khushi to be a superwoman at this stage.

It is not easy to deal with a lecher who happens to be a family member. She needs to be given credit for the way she handling everything.

EDIT...But Shyam is becoming more confident each day because he thinks Khushi won't say anything to anyone. He has a weakness...the fear of getting caught. I hope Khushi realizes this sooner rather than later.

Khushi in a very tough situation .. and I know whatever she did , some people will still Criticize her !
If she leave the room, they will day she is weak, and let Shyam see her weakness !
and when she stay and confront him with her strength, some people say she should leave the room!
Khushi will be always under criticize for some people whatever she did ..

Its really a scary situation !! no one support her ..
and Anjali by her dumbness put complicate Khushi situation !!

Arnav also responsible for part of what happens to Khushi!
he saw Shyam touch her in "Fancy dress competition " and he didn't do anything except insulting & hurting Khushi !! as IF shyam didn't so any thing
I understand that he think Khushi love that Creep , but at least for his sister sake he should stop & warn Shyam !
and also, after what he hear from Shyam when they back from GH .. how could he leave them alone !!
the Creep infront of him say that crap, didn't he think what he will did when he is not there ??

Some people make me feels that Khushi is the main sinful on the MU & Shyam harasses.. but the fact that she is only victim of somehow selfish family, intrusting husband, dumb sister in law, and lustful disgusting man ..

You forget the whole purpose of why she hid it in the first place. That purpose would be defeated by going to anyone but her own family . Police? Even that is afar cry. She is protecting Anjali.
And meanwhile while she exposes him what happens to her family? her own sister? To Anjali she is protecting? Do you know how sexi=ually harassed people feel? You must watch this episode of satyamev jayate.

If Khushi thought of herself only she would have been safer last December when she broke the engagement. Even after that she never crossed his paths. He still came after her.

I agree one needs to speak up. But to whom? Her husband who distrusts? Her adopted family who always think she is a trouble maker? Her sister who is a weakling and needs protection (though I still hope she will tell Paya). She can tell Bauji if he was fine.

I disagree. These people know the real world and real woman's plight. if you see this forum all the people who commented on this thread are people who frequently support khushi's plight as a woman

I agree with you that people who say Khushi likes Shyaam must be perhaps not in touch with reality.
But all the myriad reasons you have outlined that cause her to hide it from everyone are precisely what I call situational 'problems'. Everyone has them.
She definitely could have told Booaji and even her mother, people who are not associated with RM on a daily basis but know and understand the truth behind Shyaam's sweet-talk.
Considering Paayull's stay in that house, I am sure they'd ask her to keep quiet, the standard suggestion of such family members, but at least someone is warned and perhaps, in their own way they call and alert Paayull - who is certainly also aware of the truth - to make sure she runs interference between Shyaam and Khushi when at all possible.

Without saying too much or going into details, let me just say that 'Sutyuhmayve Juyuhtay' child abuse is something that is very close to me.
That is why I speak so vehemently that all those people who say Khushi has the hots for Shyaam are deluded and that Khushi needs to speak up. Now!
This is living with reality.
If only to her family, she needs to speak up.

It is always a very tough road; for no one believes one and one is always instead made out to be the instigator or the scapegoat.
It is far far preferable to live with one's head held high than cower in fear all the time; even if in the mistaken belief that one is doing this for someone else; be it Anjali, Paayull, or anyone.
Many times, these will be the very same people who will castigate one who has 'sacrificed' so much on their behalf.

Khushi has a terribly developed 'martyr' complex and she needs to let this go.

I do like the fact that you pointed out that many people are pointing fingers at Khushi.
They do need to investigate the root of this problem.
