Part 3

All of them went in the cabin of Dr. Keerti and on the other side Dr. Shashank went home. He was just thinking about what happened today...about Shilpa...why did she do that...why he feels soo connected with her. She always remembers him of Smriti. Shilpa has the touch of her...Smriti was also a carefree person but today when I saw my heart stopped for a minuet...it was like the day when I lost my daughter...maybe when my princess would be alive, she would be like Shilpa. Then Shashank thought about Atul, how he knew about his blood group. He wanted answers from Atul and tomorrow he would confront him.

Dr. Keerti sat down on her chair and Atul was standing near him.

"Doctors...umm actually wo..." Armaan spoke out "Please Doctor tell me..." All were looking at Armaan "I mean us...what's the truth about Shilpa."

Then Atul spoke "Guys this all began one and half years back. At the time Dr. Keerti was in Panchgani and I was also there..."

Flashback

It was midnight when some people found a girl, she was in a very horrible state and they immediately brought her to Sanjeevi. Dr. Keerti had night shift and was responsible for new cases and she was checking some files. One of the ward boy came running to her and called her for an emergency case. When Dr. Keerti first saw the patient, she was terrified what she saw. This girl was in a very critical state because first of all she lost so much blood and second, she had many fractures, bruises and cuts on her whole body. Keerti knew something was wrong and she was about to call the police when Atul came and asked why she was so worried "Hi Dr. Keerti...what happened...are u all right?" "Actually Dr. Atul we have a new case, the girl has been beaten very badly and maybe also raped but we have to do some test so that's why I'm calling the police." "Wait can I have a look" "Yes of course Doctor" and they went to the ICU. Atul looked through the window but he couldn't saw her face and therefore he went in the ICU and walked straight to the bed. What he next saw, he felt like someone had pulled the floor from his feet. The girl was none other than his sweet, innocent and full of masti, his sister, his only family...SHILPA.

Atul fell on his knees and began to cry, when Keerti came in the ICU and saw Atul on his knees and crying she got shocked and ran to him "Dr. Atul what happened, why are u crying?" "Doct...Doctor Keerti...sh...she is my sis...sister." He said between his sobs. Keerti's eyes got wide open when she heard that from Atul "Dr. Atul what are saying...ur sister but how can it be...I thought u have no one." "Shilpa is not my real sister I met her in the Panchgani orphanage when she was six years old. But Dr. Keerti will she survive?" "Look we have to wait she is very critical and a severe head injury and has lost much blood. The test will come soon Doctor, have patience."

Atul sat down near Shilpa and was holding her hand very tight. He feared, if he would leave her hand he will lose her forever. Keerti was in the corridor when the nurse came with the reports "Nurse please call Dr. Atul in my cabin" The nurse just nodded and went away. Soon Atul entered her cabin and took the seat in front of her "Dr. Keerti what are the reports saying" "Atul...actully u know Shilpa has several injuries because she had an accident but..." "But what Dr. Keerti?" He got worried

"She has burn wounds on her arms and also cuts with a blade or something else. We also found some marks on her wrists, maybe from a rope. Someone has beaten Shilpa very brutally and also tried to rape her. Please we have to call the police." Atul had tears in his eyes, he couldn't think that somebody can so cruel to his sister. Atul couldn't say anything and went aways and Keerti called the police. The police took the statements from everyone and they began the investigation.

End of the Flashback

Dr. Keerti "After that she was very quiet...she never spoke to anyone not even to Atul and then...one evening she was in her room alone and we all very in the garden and were discussing about Shilpa...then we hear a girl screaming and we saw that Shilpa's room was burning."

Atul "I wanted to break the door but it was locked...Shilpa locked herself in her room. When I opened the window I saw her sitting on her bed and waiting for her dead. She was just waiting for her last breath." He said with a sad voice and wet eyes. The gang couldn't believe what they heard. Armaan never thought that Shilpa went through such a bad time. He always thought that god did wrong to him but today he is feeling that the pain what he have is nothing in front of her pain. None of them could say anything but then Sid asked "Atul, who did this to Shilpa?" All wanted to know the monster and Atul was about to tell, when a nurse came in and said "Doctors wo..Dr. Shilpa...she is out of control...she is throwing thing arund and we can't handle her". They all rushed to Shilpa and saw that she was out of control. Atul ran to her and tried to stop her but she wasn't stopping so Atul hold tight her shoulders and shook her. She broke into tears and cried out " Bhai he is back...he will take me away...please I don't want to go to him...please kill me." With that she fell unconscious.
