After a long time I am actually hearing a good news from this industry. Some people finally woke up from the deep sleep and didn't allow the national screening :) And yes even after cutting out 58 scenes, still the movie is not suitable for kids which I completely agree with! People who want to watch it must have already seen it, atleast Television should remain suitable for families because Bollywood definitely isn't anymore.

I'm miffed at the mindless dolts who are making a big deal out of the television picture of TDP. These morality police idiots have no concept of free speech and democracy. I don't want to see a watered down version. I want to be able to DVR the theatrical release when it comes on. I live in the states and Indian movies rarely come in theaters where I live. Part of the reason we pay for premier Hindi channels is to be able to catch the TV premiers of movies. It is almost like they are trampling on my rights as a viewer.

I'm not saying that it should be broadcast on Nickelodeon or Disney. But c'mon it probably is not worse than a Law & Order SVU marathon. For crying out loud, broadcast it late night with a viewer discretion advised. At least broadcast it in the nations that are out of the stone ages already.

Yup,you're right. The promos of the telecast were out two weeks before in Max and Sony and that time the I&B ministry was sleeping. What's with issuing a notice at the last moment?Couldn't they have stalled the film earlier or just give an objection certificate that TDP shouldn't be screened at all on TV like Delhi Belly before the rights were sold.

@blue-Really?😕Atleast Bollywood films have ratings which television shows don't.And there's a ready,Housefull,Bodyguard always releasing which can be watched with the family.

THIS exactly...I was waiting so freaking long for the movie because I watched it in a crappy print and I wanted to watch it and enoy it but thanks to the dumbasses who run the government even that is not possible

I saw the movie and it doesnt even have half the boldness these losers claim for it to have🤢 I swear there are so many other problems in the country other than some losers complaining about the damn movie screening. And from some of the vids posted here on the commercials I'm appalled at how freaking hypocritical those losers are by airing such dirty commercials on TV at daytime and they have a problem with TDP airing a prime time

BTW LOVE your Santana line in your sig😆

@bold-catch Nick or Disney at midnight in India. You see models donning bikinis giving testimonials of weight loss creams and products everyday.🤡

However I wanted to see how would the film look like after 58 cuts😆Anyways TDP is available in Tata Sky Video on demand service for just Rs.25,so anyone in India who has the satellite service and wants to watch it,can :)
