What is wrong with BALH ?

Don't get me wrong with the subject line .. I am FAN of BALH even before Day 1.

But see only main leads cannot run the show all the time..

The episodes where main lead is not shown are very boring .. WHY? Because other characters have not been developed as individuals.

Priya's family... no character has gained audience respect or love accept some to Priya's dad but his character is very weak and he always listening or sorting problems ..

Priya's mom - she is a very senior and fine actor but see how audience react to her .. she hasn't gain respect

Karthik - Has no strength and no power in his role (As someone wrote very beautifully about it in one of the posts)

Same with others...

Other than main leads no one can take an entire episode on their own ...

Niharika, Mamaji and Sid repeat the same script every episode ...
When main leads are not available .. CV plan a party (Shoot each person separately and then mix with some other people)

Half of the story eaten in between ...

Priya's wishes ... - Halfway (no BC no wishes fulfilling)
Hospital Ward - Half Way
Ram's mom story - Half way
Jay and Neha - Not goiing anywhere on there own - just fillers or attachment to Ram ad Priya
Kartik and Nuts.. well what to say about them
Aisha - Her presence on screen does no create any interest

WHY WHY WHY ??? CVs why are you doing this...

CVs .. please Open your eyes and ears - 10.30 PM slot is crowded now with good shows .. don't be complacent .. If you can make a good show other too..

I find Priya's mom character very artifitial...just can't stand "Mr Ram " from her...an't she just call Ram...Plus no mother asks the way she inquires and comment on Raya relationship...

I agree with that aspect...other characters are not exploited fully...I feel that CV's must start off showing Krishnaji-Apeksha track...

A much needed post!! It's very true that CV's have not made up their minds on side characters. They keep playing ping pong with the attitude.. One day they are all sweet and then the next day negative!!

My neck has got a sprain becoz of that.

There is a lot of potential for them to play with the side characters.. Rishabh is not even exploited here. So is Dadi!! It looks like CV's are working on a daily episode rather than looking at the overview.. also doesn't help when the CV;s get changed every track.. That's why we don't have continuity and the other characters have been played differently based on the CV's on the hot seat!!

Forget the side characters, sometimes they just kill even the RaYA moments!! case in point.. watch 14th feb and y'day's episode.. So much potential and they seem to just sit and not even touch the bottom of the iceberg.

If you see any of the FF's here inthe forum, they have better ideas for the show!!I hope CV's read them and implement some of it!

The show looks very dull becoz of poor lighting.. Editing is better left unsaid.. It's like they have either a good day or a bad day nothing in between.. and definitely more of the latter!

I really hope that they get their acts together faster since the side characters are gonna turn crucial in the next track!! They just can't milk the show and keep the audience quiet by getting Ramand Priya on the screen together!!

I don't mind RaYa moments...but what I feel is that everything must be done in right time...RaYa closeness track brought at right time...but now what I feel is that Priya must start learn about Niharika true colors...she must start uniting Ram with his original mom track and right time has arrived for this track...they are showing SHARMA family well only...infact I started liking Shipra now...she started understanding Nuts...trying to explain Ayesha who is in Nuts world...

But yaa dissapointment is with Vikram-Neha...though they are sizzling but they are just used as fillers...

Kav welcome after your long break..

Agree on all points you have raised.. There are many threads that are left hanging in balance.. When the whole thing will be entwined to give a compelling and gripping story is totally in the hands of EK and her Cvs..

10.30pm slot now offers many a good shows across the channels.. Unless something drastic is done BALH will steadily loose its viewership..

Buck up and wake up CVs..

That's exactly my point yaar.. They can't just show RaYa in the same screen and doing comedy so that we will take it down our throat.. The characters and track are not spaced rightly!! It

s good that there is some movement on raYa finally.. But they need to move on adn show some progression naah.They need to optimally use all the characters and not go overboard.. you know what I mean!! If they keep showing Nutz attittude and middle class dialogues and Shipra's screaming thru her ears continuously.. it doesn't make sense naah.. it's almost like trying to test our patience.. as I said.. the potential is high for the show! The characters need to be sketched better and the track should have some continuity. Krishnaji and Apeeksha enter once in 2 months.. wth.. If he felt that they never need them now.. make them extinct and bring them after 2 year.s

I hope they move the tracks parallely. Ram's confession for Priya and Priya's realization of niharika's true colors!! would be interesting.. lets c wht they offer us today!
