All my Children: Written Update
The episode begins with Elena waking up. She calls Stefan who doesn't pick up-purposely. Elena leaves him a voice message and then calls Damon.
"If you're mad at me Damon, you need to get over it."-Elena
"Oh, I'm over it" with that, Damon hangs up on Elena.
Damon opens the door in a half naked state to let out rebekah, when he finds Elena standing there.
Elena is angry because rebekah had tried to kill her. Damon, however doesn't seem to care. "Well, for once, something I did had nothing to do with you."-Damon.
Then Elena reveals that Esther plans to kill all the Originals. Damon is happy to hear that and so is Stefan although Elena is upset about Elijah dying.
Kole teases rebekah over Matt when she returns. Klaus and Kole leave to go get drinks.
Elijah mentions to rebekah that there is something strange going on with Esther. Rebekah does not find something wrong Esther.
Bonnie repeats the spell Esther did. Then Bonnie tells Elena that Esther came to meet her to "introduce herself" since she was channeling the entire Bennett bloodline. Elena mentions how Elijah dying didn't seem right but it's too late because they'd be dead by that night.
Damon and Stefan have a small argument over Elena where Stefan once again points out that Elena is better off without both of them. Damon agrees but tells him to make sure Elena didn't screw up the plan.
Elijah shows up at Elena's and takes her into some forests. The 2 talk about the olden times. Elijah mentions how Elena had lied to him when she told him she hadn't met his mother. He demands for the truth and she finally reveals that Esther wants to kill the entire family. And then he causes a huge hole in the Earth, grabs Elena and jumps in. Elena is left there but there is no signal for her phone.
Meredith and Alaric come to a conclusion the killer is a vampire.
Bonnie and Abby show up at the old witch house where Esther awaits them.
Rebekah is with Elena and is given permission to kill her of Elena tries to run from the tomb like area she is in.
Elijah wants Stefan and Damon to kill Esther. Or else, Elena dies.
Rebekah is still upset because Elena had literally backstabbed her.
Damon wants to dagger Elijah. "divide and conquer" Caroline would be Klaus's distraction. Klaus follows Care outside. Care wants Klaus to leave her alone. "talk to me. C'mon, get to know me. I dare you." -Klaus.
Caroline agrees and Klaus wants to know her hopes, her dreams.
Meanwhile, Esther and the Bennett's are preparing for the spell. The same spell that changed them to vampires. First, they would become humans.
Kole's distraction? Meredith. But Alaric gets angry and daggers him.
Slowly, one by one all the originals are in pain. But it only lasted for a moment. All returned to normal very quickly. Klaus does not believe Damon when he tells him that Esther plans to kill the whole family. Elijah threatens the Salvatores using Elena again.
When Rebekah wakes up, Elena is gone. But Rebekah finds her. Elena runs into a part of the tomb that the originals cannot enter. "Sorry, no vampires allowed."-Elena.
The Salvatores assume that the three witches would be at the old witch house and then talk about how Elena would hate them if they killed them. The 2 decide one would do it so she would only hate one of them. They toss a coin and It turns out to be Stefan.
Rebekah pours oil over Elena and lights a match, forcing Elena to either come out or burn.
Elena tells Rebekah that her mother still loves her. Elena then tells Rebekah that she won't light the last match because she hurt her feelings and Rebekah wanted her to torment her.
Elijah, Kole and Klaus appear. "you're a curse on this Earth"-Esther.
Stefan explains to Bonnie that Elena would be killed if Esther wasn't stopped once he corners her in the witch house. Bonnie tells him that she can't stop Esther. Since Esther was channeling from the witches, the only way to stop her was if one of them was not a witch. Abby is changed into a vampire by Damon. Then suddenly, Esther and her favourite son [name is weird] disappear.
Rebekah tells Elena that Damon changed Bonnie's mother into a vampire. Elena wants to talk to Bonnie but Caroline doesn't let her in. But Care also points out that everything that happened that night was to save Elena yet Bonnie always gets hurt. REALITY CHECK ELENA. "just tell her I love her okay?"-Elena.
Stefan asks Damon why he changed Abby even though the coin toss resulted in Stefan.
Damon explains how Stefan has enough to feel guilty about and also gets Stefan to reveal that he hasn't drank human blood ever since the bridge incident with Elena.
Elijah leaves a letter for Elena which says that he did everything to save his family and she is to keep her compassion-her biggest quality.
Back at the Originals house, Elijah decides to leave. Rebekah then realizes that Klaus was the only one who didn't leave her. She also tells him that through the drawings back in the tomb, a white Oak tree still exists.
Alaric wakes up and finds a patient record file I which he discovers a dagger type knife. Meredith then shoots Alaric.
