Owl is ullu in Hindi..maybe they changed the word to make it sound nice. Usually if you call people ullu they feel upset.

I came on an animation called Gillu galahri. The animals are rabbits but I don't know if Gillu from Chidiya ghar is supposed to be a rabbit.

I agree that he is shown to be a smart boy.
