update: i have gathered my thoughts and updated the post.

We are so much lost in what we witnessed today that missed out a very important angle.

Well not exactly missed out - we all watched it but didn't think much about it.

It was Anjali who put the ring on Khushi's finger - Not Arnav or Shyam..

I think it was very interesting and since the show is full of Symbolism I think it was important.

I am having quite a few ideas but they still not very clear:

Could be that Anjali holds the key to what might happen in Khushi's life in the near future?

Anjali is the wife of the man who is decieving Khushi and the sister of the man who is her true love...what could it possibly signify??

The ring was bought by Shyam for Khushi with Arnav's money...He asked Anajli for the money.

Shyam put it on the on the wrong finger..Arnav was about to put it in the right finger but he couldn't...it was Anjali who did.

Does it mean Anjali will be the one to somehow protect Khushi from Shyam...Khushi is Arnav's amanaat which she will be safekeeping...and at the right time unite her with Arnav??

My thoughts are scattered...there's just something about it I can't pinpoint right now.

Share your thoughts.

I noticed it... and thats a huge thing because Shyam could never reach that stage where he'll put the engagement ring in Khushi left finger himself... Arnav will force himself not to do any such thing and he'll have a ball keeping himself from snatching that ring and throwing it in the dump lol... so its Anjali whose the 'link' in this whole story!!

Its Anjali due to whom the fates of the characters will be decided!!

i noticed that too. i think it means anjali will hold her hand and support her when all is revealed and not blame khushi. she knows and understands khushi and she will not blame her for what her husband did. arnav was angry and so was shyam but not anjali she embraced khushi wholeheartedly. i think nani and anjali will be her support when she come into the house in whatever condition as arnav's wife. today anjali also said how khushi was part of the family. she will be her support.

I like how you think 👍🏼 May be she is portraying Hanumaan's or Laxman's Character in this epic saga...

Arnav saw Khushi struggling to put the ring on and offered to help her yet halfway through the process she snatched her hand away and said you don't have the right to put the ring on me.
This could mean that Khushi is struggling with the concept of being engaged with Shyam as it is painful and uncomfortable. Arnav offers to help her after watching her struggle and gives her his support. This could suggest Arnav trying to confess his love love for her but it will remain incomplete. Khushi will not accept his attempts as she will want ALL or NOTHING.

Anjali puts the ring on Khushi successfully...a mission both Shyam and Arnav tried and failed. This could mean that if Khushi had to choose between Shyam and Arnav, she will REJECT both, yet Anjali will always be there for her as she has now connected to her heart.

We know for definite that the ring is bonding Khushi and Anjali together, cementing their relationship as a fellow member of the family...as Anjali said when she apologised for lying to Khushi.

The ring also kept coming to Anjali many time during this fiasco and she even recognised Shyam's taste. This could possibly mean that hints about Shyam's truth will always be shown to Anjali, yet unknowingly she will ultimately play a big part in Khushi and Shyam's marriage before she finds out the full truth.

Sorry for rambling, I'm rubbish with symbolisms but these really stood out for me.

i thought it was significant too... but im going to take a more literal and positive look at this. u see in very traditional families the engagement ring is usually put on the bride to be by the grooms mother or elder female relation in this case Anjali. so im just going to think that Anjali being Arnav's older sister and them having no Mom just officiated their engagement!!! yay!!!
