🤣🤣🤣....Sorry , i just had to start my post with this quote. I mean , it sounded insensitive and cocky when Stefan actually said that to Elena but it sounded cutely sulky when Elena repeated it to Damon. 😆...Elena is under the 'STEFAN BEFORE' and 'STEFAN AFTER' impact.

Anyway , lets get on to the post:
Mattie, Bonnie and Vicki.
The person i felt the worst for , in this episode just has to be Matt. The whole Matt and Vicki arc throughout the episode, Matt's hope that maybe he can have his family back by going against the law of nature , Vicki's vicious designs on Elena but real affection and longing to be back with Matt , Matt's resurrection of Vicki , his realization of her betrayal and his final adios to Vicki - all of it was heartbreaking and explored a gamut of human emotions. Loneliness , family ties , hope , faith , betrayal - all in one go. Its not that i have ever loved Vicki much - but when she said that she didn't want to be alone , she mirrored Matt's life too. Matt loves her but finally , he knows that you cannot imbalance the laws of nature and providence. Matt's tearful face when he bids Vicki goodbye gts to you. Nobody deserves to be lonely. Nobody. Oh and oh , are Matt and Bonnie forming a bond or something? She is becoming like his guiding light and i think she gets him and he has begun to count on her more and more as his SOS radar. Platonic or not , what Matt and Bonnie have is SENSITIVE. Really.
Stefan & Elena
Boy and oh boy! Have Stefan and Elena suddenly become a fiery version of The Beauty & The Beast? If this episode is anything to go by , then, you have Beauty Elena who refuses to be a tragedy queen and mope in corners crying over lost Stefan. No way. She is your kickass go-getter ladylove who cares more about getting Stefan's humanity and sanity back than having him to herself. Every harsh word that Stefan says kills her but she refuses to break down. If the price of resurrecting Stefan within Stefan is fooling him , hurting him , shooting him , tying him with chains- NO PROBLEM. All Elena knows is that she has to get Stefan back by hook or crook and protect herself as well in the process.
Beast Stefan? Ah, yes. Well, he is cruel, he is wicked , he is cocky , he is swaggering , he is hot , he is a monster who CLAIMS not to care. But the frozen heart still keeps tapping at the human wall inside him. You sense it when his heat almost comes to his mouth when Elena leaves the railing. You see the familiar Stefan light on his face when Elena falls into his arms and tells him that she knew he'd catch her. You find that Stefan trying to break through the beast when he asks her that why didn't she let him die in the fire? Now, tell me Why shouldn't Elena have hope that Stefan can come back?
When Elena looked at Stefan with angry tears in her eyes but a calm face and said "Because I have hope" , you realize that this 'hope' is what that is keeping her going. Or else she would crumble in a milisecond and even Damon wouldn't know how to put her back together.
On the lighter side, Stefan and Elena were fiery , intense, combative and romantic in one go. And yeah, believe it or not , there was some major sexual tension happening at the bonfire when they were busy doing the eye-thing to each-other. Errm, Damon! You are giving them tutorials in there?
And fate has its ways, right? Stefan and Elena banged into each-other outside the Men's Room again - exactly one year after they had first met by bumping into each-other. Isn't that beautiful? Elena looked so sad when she said that it was technically their first anniversary.😔
Caroline, Tyler , Jeremy and Anna.
Okay, can everyone please stop going after Tyler's life? Its NOT his fault if he feels loyal and committed towards Klaus and his interests. Tyler is a HYBRID now and in Damon's words, he is sired by Klaus. Being a were-vamp , his actions, reactions , instincts , needs everything is evolving. Its not in his hands. If he feels an instinctive loyalty towards Klaus and Rebekah , ist in his blood, not in his individual will.
So, basically, everyone needs to stop screaming at Tyler and help him sort himself out. Am glad that at least Caro tried to talk to him and warn him about the changes in him. I would prefer to see more bonding and affection between Forwood than endless sex , by the way.
Jeremy and Anna only made me sad and worried. Sad because Anna is in middle of nowhere and is a depressing memory for Jeremy. And honestly , for once , Bonnie looked like an outsider today. But Anna needs to go and Jereny needs to return to a normal life. You cannot undo decisions of providence. Vicki was the biggest example today. 😭
Michael and Kath
Kath won't go away that easy. She is the hot bitch quotient of the show , so wait for the next episode to see what Michael really did with her. Michael is COLD and that is what should scare Klaus. Michael said it every coldly - " I can kill Klaus. I will kill Klaus" and that means many casualties on the way before he hunts down Klaus. Michael loves feeding off dead things. Hmm. VAMPIRES... BE SCARED. 😲
Damon & Rebekah.
Hahahahahahaha. The swashbucking stud and the barbie klausified temptress. They both were the most chilled out people today. Rebekah flaunted her attitude , assets , flirted with Damon before stabbing him. Damon stayed a cool cucumber throughout - keeping calm with Stefan's blood on the floor act , Elena's Stefan Anthem and Rebekah's rude houseguest entry. 👏
