Bang on Pinky! Awesome post...These Salvatore brothers will never let us get enough of them! Stefan was hot and wicked! Annoying and cute! No matter how much he pretends and how much he acts...Elena knows that Stefan will come back someday..and thats what is keeping that girl still hoping and going on. Its really amazing that even after all that they have been through both good and bad...how perfectly they fit into each other's life. Two pieces of a puzzle trying to fit into each other going against every odd. When in the 1st episode of season3..Stefan calls Elena but doesn't say anything and when Elena tells him that "I love you, don't ever let that go" and Stefan silently cries...he knew it from the very start that Elena will never give up on him. If he stops fighting then Elena will fight for him... And thats why for me it will always be Stelena!

Well Ghost track is actually hooking n booking enough couch potatoes sits infront of their television sets..

- "I'm not jealous Stefan." - Elena.

"Alright…it's my mistake." - Stefan. - The face he made when he said it. The apologetic grin. Ripper Stefan is supposed to be cocky and not give a shit about what she thinks. But she gets mad…and he backs up and apologizes instead. I LOVED this moment between them.

- "I knew you'd catch me." - I'm sure everybody saw and understood that look very well. It was definitely our Stefan.

- "Hey you." - How much did I love this quiet greeting. It was so casual, yet so private and sexy. It's like he almost enjoys teasing/annoying her.

- The moment in the car when Elena calls out for him to wake up. The way he stirs, realizes the situation, mutters her name softly and throws open the back door. His expression gives him away…he's so scared for HER life. He just exerts all his energy into kicking that door so she could escape…eventually leaving him unconscious to die.

And my favorite scene between them in the episode was when they spot each other across the bonfire. I loved the subtle gestures and flirtatious looks exchanged between them. It's like their both challenging and testing each other to react. The scene has a whole different chemistry in it.

I was really looking forward to this episode. Didn't live up to my expectations, but it had great moments.

Let's start with all the SE parallels:

- Bumping into each other in front of the men's bathroom, exactly after one year (1x01 and 3x06)
- Elena waking up alone in bed (the same bedspread) as opposed to waking up with Stefan in 2x06.
- Both of them saving each others lives in the fire. ( Stefan had saved her from the accident before they even met)
- 'I will always protect Elena" - Stefan saying the exact same line to Elijah in 2x19.

Then there were the moments where we saw glimpses of the old Stefan:

- "Alright. Take it easy. Both know your kind of a lightweight." - I loved this moment. You can see right through his cocky sarcasm. Why should it bother him how drunk she gets as long as she's safe? There's the loophole'he can't help but always care and look out for her.
