Updates for January 2006

KZK update for 9 January-
Prerna comes to know that Mukti has been trapped by Karan and that Karan and Prem are into all this together.She is shocked to listen to all this and hangs up. She rushes to Jeevan and asks him where Karan and Mukti have gone to. Jeevan is surprised to see her and tells her that they have gone to Paradise Inn. Jeevan asks her to sit down but Prerna tells him that there's a problem and he needs to come with them(her and Rishabh) to the hotel at once.Jeevan is shocked and they all leave for the hotel at once.
Meanwhile, Karan brings Mukti to the hotel's restaurant. Mukti enters to find that the restaurant is empty. She goes on to find a lovely cake on the table along with a bottle of champagne and two seats meant only for them. Mukti is sweetly surprised to see all this. The manager of the hotel welcomes them and they have a seat-
Mukti-(looking around at everything) Karan..what was the need to do all this?
Karan- Awww Mukti, I did this all for you.
Mukti- But this must have cost you so much of money!
Karan-Oh come on Mukti! Dont talk to me regarding money, not today! But since you are so curious,I'll tell you that I borrowed some money from my friend..dont worry- it's all settled.
Mukti smiles at him.
Karan- This is what I did everything for. I did everything to get that smile on your face.
Mukti blushes a bit. Karan calls the manager and asks him to put on some music for them.
Rishabh,Prerna and Jeevan are on their way to the hotel but are stuck in some traffic.
Mukti and Karan dance to a romantic number. Mukti grows closer to him and both of them are enjoying their dance.They have a looong dance on an equally long song.
After the song is over, Karan goes down on a knee and proposes to Mukti. Mukti doesnt know what to say. Karan presumes that she has disagreed and he starts walking away when Mukti grabs his hand and tells him to stay back. Karan goes back to her softly..and then gives her an evil smile. Mukti is shocked. Suddenly she hears the noise of lots of people snapping. It turns out to be that Karan has called a lot of his hooligan friends to harass her. Mukti is very scared. The boys start snapping at her and move round and round passing lewd comments at her. They push and pull Mukti towards one another. Mukti stumbles and falls...into Prem's arms. Prem helps her stand on her feet. Karan and Prem rejoice that they have finally trapped Mukti. Prem tells Mukti how he had used Karan for the whole thing. Mukti cant beleive her ears. Karan smirks that Mukti was fool enough to get into his "poor-boy" trap.
Rishabh,Prerna and Jeevan reach the hotel lobby. Rishabh enquires if there has been any room booked by Prem/Karan's name. The receptionist declines.Rishabh asks her to let him see the hotel records. The receptionist again says no to him. Rishabh is annoyed and tells her that if anything goes wrong, their hotel is going to be directly in the line of fire.The receptionist gets his point and tells them that they are in the 6th floor restaurant. Rishabh and co. take the lift up hurriedly.
Karan and Prem open a bottle of champagne and keep teasing Mukti who is now crying. Prem mocks at her and asks her if she's scared. Karan mocks further and asks her if she wants to go home. Prem declares to the boys that Mukti wants to go home. The boys get the message and give cheap looks to Mukti.
Prem and Karan give each other a high-five and tell Mukti that she will never forget this night in her entire life and today she will pay for all the times she harassed Prem. Karan rudely tells her that after what happens today she will never dare to fall in love again. Mukti cries helplessly. Karan and Prem turn back to find Rishabh,Jeevan and Prerna. Both are shit scared. The boys stop dead in their tracks. Mukti runs to Prerna and hugs her tightly. Rishabh is furious and his anger knows no bounds. Rishabh walks to Prem dangerously and pushes him aside. He goes to Karan, stares at him, and then gives him a tight slap. Karan reels with the force of the slap. All of them leave. Prem and Karan are dejected.
It's dark at the Bajaj house. Prem comes in and thinks everybody's asleep. He goes and takes his luggage. As soon as he's about to go out, the lights are switched on- It's Prerna.
Prem smirks at her sight and tells her that he's leaving-

Prerna- Today is the day you had been waiting for so long. Today I have lost in every sense of the word. Today I have miserably failed. Today my 30 days are up..and now I cannot tolerate you even for 30 seconds..leave my house..right now!! I had high hopes from you. I thought that I might be successful in transforming you into a good guy. But now I realise that one can change bad upbringing, but one cannot change a bad person. And you are worst- no-one can change you! You are not my Prem...You are UD..Aparna's UD..My Prem was killed 20 years ago..you are not my child..today I take away this house from you and I also take away the name that I gave you..You have done an unforgivable mistake today. You tried to manipulate a girl,you tried to use her. Just to show Mukti that you are better, you stooped to such a low level??! I can never forgive anybody who plays with a girl's respect and integrity, then may it be you, Tushhar or for that matter my own husband!!

Prem- Oh my GOSH! How stupid I am!! For all these days I kept annoying old Bajaj in the hope that he may get fed-up and may chuck me outta this house one fine day..but no! If I'd known that doing all this was going to give me my freedom,I swear to you-I'd have done this LONG ago. I am going, yes I am. Please give me back my company.

Prerna- Your company?? what company? That complany is mine! I am not giving it back to you! Mukti will take care of that company. You dont belong here..Now you are totally on the road..now see who is your mother and who is your father!! I challenge you to search for your relations now..even if I see you on the road hereby,I will not turn back to see you even once..get OUT!

Prerna throws his luggage out of the door and then pushes him out as well. Prem shouts from outside that she'll have to pay for all this. Prerna is sad and a sad song is played for her depicting how she lost and how Prem let her down each and every time!

KZK update for Jan-

Prem is outside with the luggage. He goes to the watchman and tells him to call a taxi for him. The watchman warns him not to order him again because he is NOT his servant. Prem is frustrated and asks him to do it again. When Prem again gets a no for his answer, Prem raises his hand to hit him but Jeevan stops his hand mid-air. Prem asks him angrily how he dared stop him. Jeevan tells him that he is loyal to the Bajajs and if he were just Mukti's Dad, he would have killed him right here, right now. Jeevan yells on him and tells him to get lost.

Prem calls a taxi for himself. As he is leaving, he finds Mukti standing at her window, crying. As soon as Mukti sees him, she closes her window. Prem boards the taxi and leaves. Prerna is tearily witnessing the scene from her window. When Prem leaves, Prerna is heartbroken. Rishabh comes and embraces her in a tight hug, trying to console her.

Prem reaches Aparna's house where he meets Shravan and Indro. Indro comments that Shravan is half-mad because Tanisha left him and Prem is totally mad because his mother "India" kicked him out of the house. Shravan is fed up of Prem and tells him that he no longer has his company for which he underwent all this and asks him to decide what to do next quickly. Prem tells him to relax and tells him that he had formed this company himself, he doesn't need it now. Instead, Prem decides to form yet another company and make Prerna bite dust. Shravan is not satisfied and tells him that Aparna will be returning that day and after that only they will be able to decide.

Rishabh tries to talk to Prerna but Prerna consciously changes topics every time and drifts it to something else. Rishabh holds her firmly and pulls her to himself. He stares into her eyes and tells her not to hide anything from him because he knows how hurt she is due to the fact that Prem has left them-

Prerna- Prem!! Who Prem?? I don't know any Prem!!

Rishabh- Prerna..he is your SON.

Prerna- My son? Sons are not like this Mr.Bajaj. People do what not for their sons- they pray to God, lay out their hearts for them..but what did we get in return? Nothing at all? This is not my son..

Prerna tries to go away but Rishabh stops her again and tells her that he is aware of the fact that for the same 'son', she had been suffering for 20 years..and that he knows what she is going through. Prerna repeats that Prem is not her son and that he's Aparna's UD-

Rishabh-Prerna..who are you trying to fool by all this?? Me..or yourself..?

Prerna- No..it's not like that. I have realized he's not my son. For this 'son' of mine, I troubled you, I troubled my kids..I had grown so selfish that I put all my relations on stake for this 'son' of mine..but no..not any more..I cannot harm my relations for a person who doesn't have values for anything.

Rishabh tries consoling her but she goes away hurriedly. Rishabh is sad and concerned for her.

Mukti is very sad and is crying. Jeevan enters and apologises to Mukti-

Jeevan- Please forgive me if possible Mukti. I trusted Jeevan without any proof. It is because of me that you are suffering. After your mother died, I have throughout tried to be a very good father but seemingly so, I have failed. I am truly sorry!

Mukti tells him that he doesn't need to apologise because she was equally at fault for trusting Karan so much. She stresses that the person to blame is UD and that it has all happened because of UD. Mukti starts crying. Prerna is standing at the door. She has heard it all. Mukti wipes her tears. Mukti and Jeevan stand up in shock. Prerna apologizes that all this happened due to her carelessness with her son. Mukti tells her not to. Mukti and Prerna hug. Mukti tries consoling Prerna but she is just too sad and runs out of the house.

Prerna goes out of Mukti's house (which is inside the Bajaj compound wall), She sees a dark figure outside the gate. Prerna goes near the gate. It's a drunk Prem. Prerna is shocked to see him. Mukti comes out of her house. Rishabh watches on from his window. Prem enters and walks up to Prerna. He tells Prerna that she should not suppose that the war between them is over. Prem reminds her that he had been staying with her for 30 days only to get his company back and she has cheated her. Prem tells her that he has the strength to build yet another company and he will not give up the fight. He tells Prerna that he now gives her 24 hours in which he will destroy her, and everything and everyone connected to her. Prerna is furious. Prem has a beer can with him. As soon as he sees Mukti, he deforms the can and throws it at Mukti angrily. He taunts Rishabh and Prerna pushes his out of the gate. Prerna is saddened and looks back at Rishabh. Rishabh speaks through his eyes and assures her full support.

Indro tells the whole Basu family that Prerna has thrown Prem out of the house. Mohini is shocked and tells Anu that this was totally unfair on Prerna's part and Prem was just fooling around with Mukti, there was nothing so offensive so much so that Prerna throw Prem out of the house. Mohini tells him that she herself will talk to Prerna. Anurag warns her not to talk to Prerna because this time Prerna is totally justified in doing all this. Mohini doesn't agree and tells everybody that she cant tolerate her grandson being kicked around here and there. Sam tries to stop Mohini but she leaves. Anu tells Sam to relax and assures her that once when Mohini receives a stab from Prem, she will realize.

Prem is partying and dancing to a song. All the time , the song reminds him of Prerna and all the clashes he had with her. The DJ stops the music. A lady enters. It's Aparna.

KZK update for 11 Jan-
Prem is happy to see Aparna. The DJ puts back the music. Shravan also comes along with Aparna. Aparna goes up to Prem sternly and asks him whether all that she heard, was that true?
Prem confirms the fact that he has been kicked out of the house by Prerna. Prem tells Aparna that he really needed to be out of that mad-house for his brain to function and now that he has his independence, Prerna is going to pay for everything. Aparna is frustrated and asks him how is it going to be possible! Prem tells her to relax and mentions a certain MR.Singh who he knows is a head in one of the city's biggest banks and will sanction their loan for bringing up their own company. Aparna relaxes. Prem tells her to chill and enjoy the party
It's morning and Prerna goes to Prem-1's grave and silently cries with flowers in her hand. She sits down on a bench and cries, for both her Prems. Anurag comes there and assures her that he is with her this time and that she was totally justified in throwing out Prem from the house as he was turning out to be quite a nuisance. Prerna does not respond. Anurag still pledges fulll involvement from his side in her 24-hour duel with Prem. Anurag leaves. Prerna is still sad.
Aparna,Prem and Shravan are talking about their plans when Mohini comes there. Mohini goes to Shravan and asks him how he is. Aparna is very surprised to see her and mocks at her telling that this is the first time that her mother-in-law has come visiting and she should get a rousing welcome. Mohini pays no heed to her and goes to Prem. She tells Prem that even though Prerna has thrown him out of her house, that does not mean that her feelings have changed. Mohini assures Prem that Prerna still loves him a lot. Aparna tells Mohini to go. Mohini snaps back at Aparna and reminds her that she is not talking to her but to her grandsons.She declares that one day for sure,both her grandsons will come back home-
Mohini- You have already snatched Shravan away from us..and now you want to exploit Prem too..!!
Mohini turns to Prem and tells him that she will not let him live here when he has a house of his own. Mohini tells him to come with her to the Basu house. Prem asks him if she's sure about taking her home because he doesnt want to be kicked out again and that he's tired by shifting residenses. Prem tells her that he will come with her if she can give him monetary security. Mohini tells him to elaborate. Prem tells her that if she can give him 15 crore ruppees, he will come to the Basu house. Aparna is impressed. Mohini thinks about it for a while and tells Prem to think that the 15 crores are his. Mohini is confident and leaves.
Mohini talks to the family and Anurag about the money that Prem wants. Anurag declares that he will not spare a single penny for him. Mohini remonds him that he is his son and he will have to do something for him. Anurag declines again. Mohini tells him that they cant afford to let Prem live with Aparna again or it will be disastrous. Anurag tells her that he will do the same thing here what he did in Prerna's house!Mohini gets angry and tells anurag that all this property belonged to Moloy and that he has nothing to do with it and if she's asking for a share from Moloy's property, she ought to have it immediately. Anurag is hurt and leaves. Geeta tells Mohini that she should not have done this to Anurag.
Anurag returns with some files and handsa them to Mohini telling her that Moloy had left all his property and companies on Anurag's charge and it's his responsibilty to avert any threats to Moloy's company and he will NOT give her anything..

Prem goes to the bank where he had his contact and talks about his loan. He tells the person that he wants Rs.15 crores to set up a computer company. The person tells them not to worry and that their loan will be passed. Aparna flashes a wicked smile.Prem and Shravan are happy. The person excuses himself for an urgent call and upon returning, he notifies Prem that he cannot go on with his deal with him and he will not be able to finance him. Prem is shocked and asks him why he's going back on his word now. The person tells him that he has got orders from the chairman and he will not be able to help.
Prem is disappointed and goes to another bank. He enters the manager's cabin to find Rishabh sitting in the chair opposite the manager. Prem is shocked and leaves. Rishabh thanks the manager for his timely co-operation. Prem is forced to take taxis to the various banks he has to tour for his loan.He goes to another bank just in time to see Anurag leaving the bank. Prem is frustrated and tells the taxi driver to take him quick to another bank. At the traffic signal, the taxi stops and Prem finds Prerna in the car next to him. He is irritated.
Prem goes bakc frustrated to Aparna and Shravan and tells them what happened to him. Aparna is frustrated and all her bottled frustration comes out. She tells Prem that it was her biggest mistake to trust a person like him and do business with him and today because of his mistake, she is suffering. Aparna's furious and contnues bashing him. She tells him that it was her mistake to think that Rishabh-Prerna-Anurag would be weak and an even bigger mistake to have him with her for 20 years and try to use him as a weapon against the trio.-
Aparna- Those all are suffering for their own deeds. But I am suffering for YOUR deeds!! I am fed up of you!!
Prem- But aunty!
Aparna- DONT call me aunty. I have no relationship with u!!

KZK update for 12 January-
Prem is shocked by what Aparna has just said. He stares at her with utmost shock. Aparna continues yelling at him. She tells him that what she is saying is true and now she does not have anything to do with him. Prem is even more taken aback. Aparna tells him that because of him, she is made to suffer and now she has nothing left and is totally poor. Prem is shocked and tells her that he ought to have realised what she is upto long ago. He is about to swear when Aparna reminds him that he is standing in HER house and should think before saying anything to him. Prem is frustrated-
Prem- OH! When I had money, I was your 'son', now that I have nothing left with me, you dont have any relationship concerning me?? You care only about money..you dont have any emotions...
Aparna- Yes, you are right. I dont have anything to do with you. You are no-one for me. I only care about my bank balance and that is precisely what I was accompanying you till today! Get lost!
Prem- Fine!! I am going now..but I swear to you..I will get back to you..very soon!!!
Shravan is also shell shocked by Aparna's behaviour. As Prem is leaving, Anurag appears at the door with a smug smile. Anurag goes to Prem and tells him that now when he knows Aparna's reality, he is glad. He reminds him that this is exactly what Prerna always tried to tell to him but he was never willing to listen to her. Prerna did what not for him but he never payed any heed to her.Anurag tells Prem that Aparna has always been the same woman that she is. When she was his wife, she tried to kill him and made an attempt to kill him and now she is betraying him also. Anurag harps that Aparna atleast had some relation with him(Anurag) but she doesn't have any relation with Prem. He tells Prem that Aparna is definitely not worth trusting and Prerna had been trying to get him see the difference between Aparna and people who really love him. Prem is hurt and leaves. Anurag feels good and moves towards Shravan. Shravan is embarrassed with his behaviour and his head hangs in shame. Anurag comes and asks him how come he didn't raise his hand at him inspite him saying so many things to his 'mother'?

Anurag asks him how he is feeling after knowing his mother's reality. Shravan is further embarrassed. Anurag tells him that Aparna has been continuously misleading him and using him against his own family. Anurag makes him realize his mistakes. Shravan starts leaving. Aparna tries to stop him but Shravan tells her to keep quietand that now he can not trust her-

Shravan- when you couldn't stay loyal to your husband, how can I expect the same from you? You kicked out a person who you stayed with for 20 years!! I met you just recently..I cant afford to trust you..and I even cant do anything to you..because you remain my 'mother'!!

Shravan is very frustrated and leaves. Aparna tries to stop him but in vain. Anurag goes up to her and tells her that her dream is now over and she is now paying for what she did! Anurag leaves. Aparna is frustrated as she has lost out on both Prem and Shravan.

Prem is walking dejectledy on the road and is very sad that he has been betrayed by Aparna who he always considered as his mother. He goes over the things Aparna said to him and is even more saddened.

Meanwhile, Anurag goes and tells Rishabh and Prerna that Prem has now realized totally what a bad person Aparna is and that today she showed her real colors to him. Rishabh is glad that Prem will finally get on the right track but Prerna doesn't seem to listen.

Just as they are talking, Prem comes to the door. He puts a foot forward to enter the house but Prerna tells him to wait right there. Rishabh and Anurag are shocked by her reaction. Prerna goes to Prem and tells him to stay out of her house and that she is not willing to have him with herself anymore-

Prerna- I know you have some bad intentions at heart and that is exactly why you want me to accept you again. Now that Aparna has kicked you out, you want to stay in my house!! Why the hell should I let you in!

Rishabh- Prerna! What are you saying? This is his house afterall, if not here, then where will he go?

Prerna- Mr.Bajaj..I would have taken Prem in if he had realized his mistake and returned to me but that is not the case. Prem has selfish motives at heart. Just because Aparna is not willing to let him in her house, that doesn't mean that I will let him…

Prerna turns to find that Prem is gone. Prerna is a little taken aback. Prem dejectedly walks to the gate and calls a taxi. He sits in the taxi. The taxi goes a little distance when Prem realizes he's got no money. He leaves the taxi. The taximan is furious at him for wasting his time for nuts. Prem is frustrated. Mukti comes to him with a rude smile and puts a 10 ruppees note in his pocket. Mukti tells him that there's a bus depot near by and this much money will be enough for going to anywhere in the city. Mukti tells him that life always comes a full circle. He caused so much of pain to others and now that he is facing so little pain, he is totally agitated. Mukti tells him that she'd decided never to punish him but God punished him and people always pay for their deeds which they do in this world. Mukti leaves and Prem is like- MAD

Prem goes the next day and stands outside Prerna's office.

Prerna goes near the window and sees him. She is disturbed. Mukti comes and consoles her.

Prem goes to a pub for some drinks but the bartender tells him that he cannot give him any beer because his previous credits have not been cleared. Prem shouts at him and tells him that he is a regular customer and they cannot do this to him. The tender does not agree. Prem is frustrated and leaves. Anurag and Sam are at the same place. Sam tells Anurag that she understands how he is feeling and tells him to have courage.

Aparna goes to Shravan and tries telling him that she is not wrong and all that stuff but Shravan is not interested in her talks and tells her that he will not come back to her ever and now he has realised what type of a woman she is. Shravan walks away angrily.Aparna is very angry and decides to take revenge with Anurag

Anurag is driving and finds Prem unconscious on the street. He's shocked!

KZK update for 13 January-

Anurag is shocked to see Prem lying unconscious on the road and rushes him to the hospital.

Meanwhile, at the Bajaj house-

Prerna is making arrangements for dinner. Rishabh comes up to her and tells her that she is not being fair to Prem and he is being punished too much for the mistakes he has done. Prerna disagrees and tells him that she is right and that Prem does not deserve to be back here.

Rishabh tells her that he knows that Prerna is trying her best to show that Prem's absence is making no difference to her but deep inside, she is still crying for him and wants him back. Prerna tells him that his thoughts are wrong and now Prem does not mean anything to her and that he will solely remain UD, and not Prem. Rishabh gives up the argument sadly and the kids come and they settle down for dinner.

Just then, Rishabh gets a call from Anurag telling him about Prem's unconscious state. Rishabh is shocked. He gets up from his seat and asks him in which hospital he is. Rishabh hangs up the phone and tells Prerna about Prem. Prerna tells him that they should leave quickly, but just a second later,Prerna decides that she will not go and sits down for dinner. Rishabh is frustrated and leaves for the hospital. The kids stare disbelievingly at Prerna but she carries on with her dinner. After a while, Prerna leaves the dinner table.

Rishabh reaches the hospital and asks Anurag how Prem is. Anurag tells him to wait for the doc to check him up. The doc comes and tells them that Prem had grown addicted to beer, and today when he had to leave his habit forcibly- that caused him to grow weak and faint. The doc tells them that it is nothing to worry and that they can take Prem home after some time. Rishabh is concerned. He tells Anurag that under no conditions will Prerna let Prem in. Anurag tells him that he doesn't mind Prerna being loggerheads at him, but he will take Prem home. Rishabh tells him to relax and reminds him that they will have to deal with this situation carefully.

At home,

Prerna is in her room. She's crying. Mukti comes up to her and tells her that she knows why she's crying. Mukti tells her to get Prem home. Prerna disagrees and tells her that she can not possibly forgive Prem for what he has done. Mukti reminds him that Prem needs her right now.

Prerna laments over the fact that for Prem, she is still a 'necessity' and not a mother. Mukti agrees. Mukti still consoles her and tells her to forgive Prem, for her sake, and bring him home or otherwise, she will never forgive herself.

Prerna is shocked. Mukti leaves. Prerna goes over whatever Mukti has said and gets up. On the way out of the door, she thinks about the time when she promised Aparna that she would improve upon Prem in 30 days and then the fateful day when she kicked him out. Prerna grows angry and leaves for the hospital.

At the hospital,

Rishabh and Anurag are discussing as to where should they take Prem to. Prem comes out and tells them rudely that they need not think about him and that he can manage on his own. Prem is walking away from them and stumbles. Rishabh shouts out for him and Anurag holds him and helps him to his feet again. Anurag looks at Prem and asks him why he can never distinguish between his family and his foes? Anurag tells him that he has suffered by trusting his foes and he should spare some trust for his family too. Anurag tells him that all of them love him too much and he should not abandon them. Rishabh looks at the corridor and is sweetly surprised to see Prerna coming to them. Prem is shocked. Prerna walks up to Prem angrily and holds his hand.She drags him out of the hospital by his hand. Prem is confused and doesn't understand what's happening.

Prerna takes Prem home. Rishabh and Anurag also come there. Mukti's father is present along with all the Bajaj kids. Prem is going to his room when Prerna stops him and tells him that he should not think that he has been forgiven for those deeds.

Prerna tells him that as she is a mother, she may be able to forgive him but her forgiveness does not make any difference because she has not been the victim, Mukti has. Prerna gives Prem an ultimatum that if and only if Mukti forgives him, he can stay with them otherwise he will have to leave. Everybody is shocked. Rishabh,Prerna and Anurag go away. Mukti and Prem are left alone but Mukti too leaves. Prem is alone and looks on dejectedly.

When Anurag is leaving by his car, he notices Prerna crying at the window of her room. He looks at her sadly and leaves. Rishabh comes up to Prerna and asks him what was the sense behind all this. Prerna explains that she cannot compromise with the woman inside her just because she's a woman. Rishabh asks her to think what will happen if Mukti does not forgive Prem! Prerna tells him simply that Prem will have to leave them for ever. Prerna leaves. Rishabh is confused.

Meanwhile, at their honeymoon, Sneha is packing her bags. Sharad tells her that they haven't fully unpacked yet and asks her why she's packing. Sneha tells him that she's missing her parents too much and that she also doesn't want to miss the Star Screen Awards.

Sneha promises him that they'd have fun on their second honeymoon. Sharad agrees to come back.

Anurag goes home to find a dejected Mohini. Anurag tries talking to her but she goes away. Anurag follows her and tells her that whatever Prerna did was right otherwise Prem would have never recognized his mistakes. Anurag makes her realize that parents can fight with their kids but not with their kids' destinies and that what is meant to happen will always happen. Mohini advises Anurag to take a feather out of Prerna's hat and bring Shravan home in the same way. Anurag tells her to wait for some while and that he will get him home only when he's willing never to leave them again. Mohini is concerned.

Aparna ahs no money left and Indro cracks jokes on her. Aparna sends Indro out in search of some free food. Indro goes out and calls Anurag and tells him to stay alert as Aparna is definitely upto something. Anurag tells him to relax and he will take full care of Aparna.

Kzk update for 16 Jan-

The Bajaj family comes to the table for breakfast. Prerna organizes the breakfast and everyone sits down. Rishabh asks Birju Kaka where Prem is and asks him to call him down for breakfast. Birju tells him that Prem left for someplace early in the morning. Rishabh is surprised but Prerna does not react.Rishabh gets a call from Shailendra who asks him to come over for a walk. Rishabh asks him to wait as he will be there in like 10 minutes. Rishabh takes a last glance at Prerna and leaves.

Mukti is jogging and she stops for some breath. At the same time, Prem overtakes Mukti. He is also jogging at the same place. Mukti is irritated to see him there but continues with her exercises. Prem apes her exercises. Mukti is bugged and asks him not to copy her. Prem tells her that he is free to do any exercise that he wants and she is no-one to tell him what to do and what not to do. Mukti is seriously miffed and goes to the beach for a coconut drink. She walks by herself and bumps into Prem who is drinking simultaneously from two cocoonuts. Mukti warns him not to annoy her anymore and now her whole day will be wrong because the first thing she encountered in the day was him.

A woman comes and asks Mukti what is wrong. A small crowd gathers around her. Mukti tells them that Prem is stalking her and misbehaving with her. A body-builder is furious at Prem and along with some friends, they dump Prem into the sea. He is totally soaked. Mukti enjoys the scene. Prem is angry. He comes up to Mukti and asks her what she thinks of himself. Mukti strikes a chord and realizes that Prem is doing all this so that she is happy with him and forgives him for what he has done- just so that he can live in that house. Prem asks her to stop and tells her that he wanted to apologise to her because he felt he had been unfair with her and had troubled her when she had done no harm to him. Prem leaves.

Rishabh and Shailendra are witnessing this thing between Mukti and Prem. Rishabh is happy.He goes home and tells Prerna that he cant believe his eyes that Prem himself was trying to apologise to Mukti. Prerna is not interested and leaves. Rishabh calls Anurag and tells him that there's good news. He tells him that Prem is slowly improving. Anurag is happy but tells Rishabh that Prem still needs some more time to get back to normal. Rishabh agrees. Prerna hears Rishabh's talks on the phone and smiles at him lovingly.

Anurag is sitting in somebody's office and he hangs up the phone. The person is introduced as Mr.Sharma. Mr.Sharma tells him that he wants to give the publicity campaign to Basu Publications. Anurag is happy and tells him that he can be assured of a job well done. Mr.Sharma's secretary tells him that the boy he called for an interview is here. He calls him in. Anurag takes leave and goes out of the door to find Shravan. Shravan sees him and starts leaving-

Anurag- Shravan, complete the work you had come here for.

Shravan- I am witness to what you did to Prem..you canvery well do it to me too…

Anurag- I wonder why kids fail to comprehend their parents and why they fail to realize that their parents have their best intentions at heart and will never do a thing which hurts them. I will never request anybody to give you a job, and neither will I provoke anybody against emplying you..

Shravan looks at him and goes in for the interview. Anurag thinks to himself that this is probably the first time in years that he has received so much of happiness in one day and hopes Shravan is able to start life afresh.

Anurag remembers Indro's phone call alerting him against Aparna's evil plans. Anurag calls Aparna.

Prerna and Anurag are waiting for Aparna at Prem's grave. Aparna comes and asks them why she has been called here. Anurag tells her that he doesn't want her interference in their lives anymore. Aparna gives a wicked smile and tells them that she alone is enough for destroying all three of them. Anurag tells him that is exactly why he has called her over for, for the final decision. Anurag pulls out a pistol and aims at Aparna. Prerna and Aparna are shell-shocked. Anurag fires twice at Aparna but misses. Aparna is scared. Suddenly, Anurag stumbles and the pistol falls down near Aparna. Aparna holds the pistol and now aims it at Anurag. Aparna fires but there are no bullets left. The police comes. Anurag smirks and tells her that this time around she has been trapped in her own trap.He tells her that there were only 2 bullets in the pistol. The inspector arrives and Anurag pretends to be scared and tells him that Aparna shot at him twice. The Police take Aparna under-arrest. Prerna asks Anurag why he did all this. Anurag tells her that sometimes people have to do all this for the kids and he doesn't want any further hurdles for their happiness.

At the Bajaj house, Prerna and the kids are making preparations for Makar Sankranti (Indian annual festival of flying kites). Prerna tells the kids that this time many of Rishabh's friends and Sneha's in-laws are going to be there and they have to make this day favorable. Rishabh comes along and is happy to see them all preparing for the day.

Sneha and Sharad come there. Rishabh and Prerna hug and welcome them. Rishabh leaves for an important call. Sharad notices that Mukti is not happy and asks her what happened. Mukti tells him that she's ok. Sneha asks them where Prem is. Prerna becomes uneasy and tells her that he's working in the office.Sneha is sweetly surprised. Mukti tells Prerna to sign on some checks as they need to give away some cheques. Prerna signs and gives the chequebook to her.

Mukti goes to the office and tells the manager that she has got the cheques signed and tells him to dispatch the payments soon. The manager has to leave. Mukti tells him that the chequebook is in the drawer.

Prem is watching all this and sneaks into Mukti's cabin when she's not there and opens the drawer. He gets a call from someone and Prem reminds the person to get his job done by the day after tomorrow and assures him/her that the money will be paid. Prem tears off a cheque for 2 lakh rupees signed by Prerna and smiles.

KZK update for 17 Jan-
Prerna goes to the Basu house and invites everyone to the Sankranti function at their house. Mohini is happy to see her and assures her that they all will surely come to their function.Anurag comes there. Prerna feels a wee bit uneasy. After seeing Anurag come there, Mohini talks about Prem. She tells Prerna that she is not satisfied by what is happening with Prem at all. She tells Prerna that she understands that Prem has wronged Mukti but he should still be given a chance to improve. Prerna is firm on her decision and tells her that nowadays kids dont listen to their parents, parents' tears dont melt kids nowadays, they just go ahead and do what they want to do. Prern reminds him that if Mukti forgives Prem then she has no problem with him staying in the house but he will not be let in otherwise. Prerna tells her that she can show Prem the right path but it is solely his decision if he wants her guidance or not. Prerna maintains that she's right and they all should support her in what she is doing. Anurag supports Prerna and explains to Mohini that Prerna is right and as parents, they will always do things for Prem which bring in an improvement in him and he is fully with her in this endeavour. Anurag tells Mohini that it's in their benefit and even more, Prem's benefit that he improves. Mohini seems convinced. Prerna is about to leave when Indro comes and asks her if he can come to the Sankranti Function too. Prerna tells him that he's most welcome.
At the Bajaj house,
Rishabh is wheeling Tusshar in his wheelchair to his room .They share a joke when Rishabh gets a call from Gupta. Gupta tells him that there's some good news as the American Physiotherapy Insitute has allowed Tusshar to get admitted to their hospital. Rishabh is overjoyed and tells the good news to Tusshar who is also happy. Rishabh calls for Birju Kaka and tells him to take Tusshar down. Rishabh goes inside his room to tell Gupta that now they should not waste any time and he will make preparations for going to America as soon as possible after he talks with Prerna. Birju Kaka loses his concentration and in that lapse, Tushhar gets pushed on the stairs along with his wheelchair. Rishabh is shocked and comes running outside but Tushki is already down the stairs. Just in the nick of time, Prem stops the wheel chair from tumbling. He lifts Tusshar and keeps him on the sofa. Tusshar smiles at him and thanks him. Prem shouts on Birju Kaka for his carelessness and tells him to take care further on. Prerna is watching all this and is surprised. Rishabh looks at Prem and thanks him in gestures.
Prem goes to his room and switches on his laptop. He calls up a friend and asks him if he can shift into the empty flat that he is. The friend agrees and tells him that there is no problem. Prerna comes into his room with some traditional clothes.



Prem hangs up. Prerna puts the clothes near him and tells him that if he considers their happiness as his and if he considers the house as his, he should not go tomorrow. Prerna is leaving when Prem stops her and tells her that he never considered the house as his and now that he's leaving, he doesnt feel a bit for the house because if the house was really his own, he would not have been kicked out of the house twice. He tells her that he does not want to give her a chance to kick him out the third time and is thus leaving. Prerna is sad and leaves.
The next day,
The Bajajs hold a gala function for Sankranti which is attended by all known people in the sity. Rishabh welcomes the Basus and the Guptas as they arrive. Everyone is very happy and is having a good time. The maids are merry-making as they prepare the traditional sweets. Prerna performs the traditional rites of feeding a cow on the day along with her daughters.
Prerna goes to Prem's room. Prem is talking to his friend and telling him that he will be at his place in a hour. Prerna is sad and leaves. Mukti watches her go and goes to talk to Prem.


Mukti tells Prem that she had expected the same from him and asks him if he's going to create a scene even today? Mukti tells him that he's grown prone to ruining everybody's happiness and he cant bear it when other people are happy. Mukti tells him that today too he wants to leave the house and steal everybody's happniess. She requests him to go without creating a scene downstairs.
While leaving, Mukti bumps into Sharad and falls into his arms. Sharad helps her to her feet and comments that such a scene happens only in films. Sharad asks her what happened and why she is upset. Mukti tells him that she has loads of work to do . Sharad grabs her hand and flirts with her. Sneha comes there but Sharad doesnt know. Mukti winks to Mukti and asks Sharad if he's not scared of his wife. Sharad tells her that that's the last thing he'll do- to be scared of Sneha. Sharad says that if Sneha comes to know of all this, the most she will do is sit down with a box of tissues and cry. Sharad laughs. Sneha pats him on the back. Sharad is nervous and leaves. Sneha and Mukti share a hearty laugh and Mukti mockingly tells Sneha to keep her hubby dearest under constant check. They both laugh.
Everybody's having fun flying kites when they all stop as Prem comes to the terrace clothed in the traditional dress. Everybody's impressed and surprised. Prem goes to Mukti and tells her that he did not want to hurt anybody before he left the house. Mukti smirks at him. Prem leaves.
Anurag gets a call on his cell and he is shocked.


Anurag leaves without telling anybody.
At the jail,
An attorney tells the Inspector that he's come to bail out Aparna and needs her signature. Anurag is standing near Aparna's cell. Aparna mocks at Anurag and tells him to enjoy the day flying kites as he will not be able to stop her once she's bailed out. Anurag swears that he will not let it happen. Aparna tells him that he has more enemies except her in the city and this can be done by anyone.


Anurag thinks about Komolika. He goes to the mental hospital but her ward is empty. He goes in but there is nobody. He turns around to find someone and is shocked.

KZK update for 18 Jan-

Rishabh is sitting on a chair with a drink kept on the table in front of him. Rishabh starts his narrating right from the beginning-

Rishabh- Rishabh Bajaj, that is the name I am known by. I have a lot of respect in the business circle. I have always learnt the way to win in life.Whatever I loved, I obtained. It's not in my nature to lose.Maybe there are no emotions in my heart that will make anybody love me. Maybe this was the reason that even when I had kids, I could not make my mansion my home. I did not know how to love. The one who taught me how to love was Prerna.

Rishabh and Prerna's first meeting was shown when Anurag and Prerna were working under Mr.Gill for a totally new news channel. Mr.Gill introduced Prerna to Rishabh. Rishabh was happy to meet Prerna and told her that it was a pleasure that he was working with such adventurous people like herself and that he was looking forward to their dealings. Prerna responded and told him that it was actually her pleasure to meet Rishabh Bajaj - the most successful NRI businessman. Both of them smiled at each other.

Rishabh continued his narration-
Rishabh- The first time I met Prerna, there was an urge in my heart to GET her. I played my business tricks and finally I took over everything from the Basu Publications. I had entire control on their dealings and property. I called Prerna over.I had a proposal for her.I knew Prerna loved Anurag and that Anurag was her weakness. I attacked on her weakness-

Flashback scene-
Rishabh was seated at the dinner table when Prerna came there-
Rishabh- I have all of the Basu Property under my control and they do not have anything left to repay me. Today I have a proposal for you. If you accept this proposal,I will act according to your wishes.
Prerna- I am ready to accept any proposal Mr.Bajaj.
Rishabh- You are agreeing to the proposal even without listening to it! May I know the reason why?
Prerna- For Anurag's sake.I can do anything for Anurag's sake.
Rishabh- For Anurag, you will have to lose Anurag.You will have to marry me!
Prerna was shocked.

Rishabh continued his narration...
Rishabh- Prerna sacrificed her love and married me. I obtained her but my love had never got her..maybe my kids got her by their love and innocence-

Flashback scene-
When Kookie was blind, Prerna woke her up on her birthday and wished her. Tusshar, Kookie and Rishabh showered her with gifts and sang their birthday song for her.

Another flashback scene-
Rishabh and family along with Prerna sat down for lunch when Rishabh asked Tushki how much money he wanted. Tusshar told him that he wanted to join BTN. Rishabh was thrilled and told him that he was a bit low on experience and he was willing to work under Prerna for some while, he was welcome to join in:)

Rishabh's narration continued-
Rishabh-My scattered family came together.But me and Prerna were together, but we were not one. Destiny was punishing me for the games I played with Prerna. But little did I know that there were many more games in store for me. My ex-wife Menka came back and played a horrendous game with me.

Flashback scene-
Rishabh was in Australia with a business associate when Menka tolda truck driver to ram his truck into Rishabh's car. A gory accident followed and Rishabh was paralysed. Menka told everyone in India that Rishabh is dead. Gupta and Co.were shocked.

Rishabh narrated-
Rishabh- I was dead for everyone..and when I returned after a long time, I found that Prerna had gone from my life too. When I was away,my kids had married her off to Anurag Basu. Her relation with me had ended but she was still there for my kids. I was happy with the feeling that Prerna was happy with Anurag. But destiny had some other plans..
Flashback-
Anurag and Prerna got into a hug spat when Prerna found out that Anurag was spying on her and following her everywhere she went. Both of them were fighting on the road and a huge crowd had gathered. Prerna and Anurag were literally shouting at each other in front of such a big crowd-
Prerna- Anurag what is all this!! You follow me everywhere..spy on me!Why dont you trust me! Do you think I am doing something wrong??!

Anurag- If you are not doing any wrong to me , then why do you lie to me? You tell me some place and you go somewhere else!! What am I supposed to understand by all this?!

Prerna- Anurag, where is that relationship which we used to boast of?? We used to think that we understand each other..that relation is no more!

Rishabh narrated-
Rishabh- And the finale came when due to a small mistake of Anurag's, Prem died. Their relationship started with a name and ended on an accusation..

Flashback-
Prerna was screaming in the court that she is ready to give a divorce to Anurag. She shouted that she no longer wanted to be his wife. She wanted to end their relationship not only on paper, but wanted to end it by body, soul and even from her heart!!

Rishabh narrated on-
Rishabh- Then Sneha was born..but Anurag put another accusation on Prerna instead of accepting her and Sneha..

Flashback-
Prerna came to tell Anurag that Sneha was their daughter. Anurag was furious-
Anurag- Do I not know who her father is!! Your relationship with Rishabh..I know it all..she is Bajaj's daughter!!

Prerna- She isnt Bajaj's daughter..she's OUR daughter..

Anurag- No more lies from you..I refuse to accept her!!

Rishabh narrated-
Rishabh- And Prerna's presence came to my fortune. I gave Sneha her father's name...

Flashback-
It was raining and Prerna was really troubled by Sneha's constant asking her who her father was. Prerna was hassled and went to Rishabh and knelt down before him and held his hands-

Rishabh- Prerna! What are you doing?
Prerna- Mr.Bajaj..will you marry me?!
Rishabh was totally shocked and was unable to give any reaction..

Rishabh again narrated-
Rishabh- The man in me had changed. I accepted Prerna and gave Sneha her name. Slowly I was becoming that man which Prerna wanted and loved. Life has tested me several times through my kids.Such tests which are not under control of any mortal. Sneha was diagnosed with Leukamia.

Flashback-
Prerna and Rishabh went to the doc who teld them that she had tested everybody's HRA report and nobody's bone marrow matched that of Sneha. The Doc was surprised and told Prerna that even Rishabh's bone-marrow, who was Sneha's father did not match. Rishabh looked on sadly..he had been introduced as Sneha's father..the Doc supposed him to be Sneha's biological Dad as well.

Narration-
Rishabh- I kept a stone on my heart and I myself sent Prerna to Anurag so as to get a sibling for Sneha with the required bone-marrow.

Flashback-
Rishabh egging Prerna to go to Anurag for Sneha's sake-
Rishabh- Go Prerna..I know that whenever I will turn back,I will always find you in front of me. The centre of our Universe is Sneha..we are doing this for her..
Both of them were crying after having confessed their love for each other.

Narration-
Rishabh- And once again, they united. And Prem came to our lives. Prem brought my destiny along with him.I had waited for Prerna for 12 long years with utmost dedication. Prem brought us both together. Anurag decided to get me and Prerna married, I do not know whether this was his weakness or just a sample of how great he was, but one thing is for sure, some days before my marriage,I fell prey to my weakness. I supposed Madhvi to be Prerna one night and we slept together. Madhvi tried a lot to tell Prerna the truth before we got married but Anurag projected me as God in front of Prerna's eyes.

Flashback-
Anurag-Can you beleive anyone if he/she says that Mr.Bajaj did all this to you? Do you think Mr.Bajaj can even look at anybody else than you with the same feelings? I know you can doubt me Prerna, but you can never doubt Mr.Bajaj. You can doubt yourself, your own breath,but you cant doubt Mr.Bajaj! And beleive me Prerna,even if Mr.Bajaj himself comes and tells me all this about him and Madhvi, I will not beleive him..

Narration-
Rishabh- Anurag got the both of us married, He gave me the color of his life- the red cloth. I promised him that I will love and protect Prerna all my life but I could not protect Prerna's Prem.

Flashback-
Komo kidnapped Prem and managed to whisk him to some place outside India and Prerna put the whole blame squarely on Anurag and slapped him furious for trusting him again!

Then Rishabh narrated the whole story after the 20-year leap. That's it:)

KZK update for 19 Jan-
Anurag goes to the mental asylum and goes to Komolika's cell. He doesnt find anyone there. He turns back and he is shocked to see Komolika there. He leaves her cell and wonders if Komolika was throughout inside the cell, then who freed Aparna? Indro calls Anurag on his phone from the venue of the Sankranti function and asks him to come over quickly as everyone is asking for him. Anurag leaves.

Everyone is flying kites. Sneha and Sharad, Kookie and Vishaka and all other people. Sam tells Anurag to try his hand at a kite too. Anurag declines. Sam tells him that he's grown old and that is why he's not flying a kite. Anurag tells her not to challenge him and that he was a champion at flying kites in college. Prerna is listening to all this and laughs at Anurag. Anurag decides that enough is enough and takes over the string from Indro's hands and tells Indro to manage his thread. Anurag and Sharad have a kite duel and Anurag cuts Sharad's kite. Sharad is angry and asks him why he wants to cut kids' kites. They all have a hearty laugh. Anurag asks if there is anybody to challenge him anymore. Prem comes and tells him that he wants to give him a challenge.

Anurag asks him whether he can fly a kite. Prem replies- "maybe" Prem begins flying the kite and goes too near the wall of the terrace when Prerna comes and holds him back. Prerna handles his spool of thread and eggs him on to fight with Anurag. They have a song sequence on the kites and finally Prem wins. Mohini hugs him and Prerna is also very happy. She holds his face in his hands but leaves after she feels a bit awkward.
Prem rejoices and everybody congratulates him. He is ecstatic.

Prerna goes to Anurag and asks him why he lost knowingly. Anurag tells her that parents can never win if they defeat their kids, but parents always win when their kids defeat them and move ahead of them. Prerna is happy. Anurag tells him that they have got Prem back after so many years and he is willing to do even the smallest and the biggest of things which is required to make him happy. Prerna smiles at him and they share a moment.

Everybody sits down for the traditional lunch.Prem and Indro sit side by side.A pretty girl comes with puris. Indro flirts with her and the girl puts many puris in his plate. Indro is shocked. Prem gets a phone call and sits sideways, eating a puri while talking. Indro cleverly goes on adding a puri to his plate until he is left with a few. Prem finishes his call and wonders why his puris are not finishing. He asks Indro if he did all this but Indro declines. (Comedy scene)

Mukti spots the Company Manager at the venue looking upset. She goes and asks him what happened. The Manager tells her that he came here for the 20 Lakh cheque. Mukti tells him that she'd kept in the drawer. The manager tells her that he did not find any cheque in the drawer and when he enquired in the bank, the amount had already been withdrawn by Prem. Mukti is shocked.

She walks over angrily towards Prem. Prem is frustrated thinking that Mukti doesnt let him enjoy his food also. He gets up from his seat and walking away when Mukti confronts him-
Mukti- You will never improve will you? You have proved again and again that you are upto no good but still Badi Maa (Prerna) kept trusting you and giving you all the love and affection. And this is what you do with it!!

Rishabh,Prerna and Anurag are shocked to see Mukti like this and Prerna goes over to the duo. Mukti tells Prerna what happened. Prerna asks Prem what he did with the money. Prerna asks him whether he blew it up on women, or gambling, or beer! Prem refuses to budge and does not answer. Prerna is frustrated and she slaps him in front of everyone.
Prerna tells him that she has always wanted him to improve but it seems he is really upto no good ever. Prerna tells him that till now, he was just a drunkard, a philander but now he has turned into a theif too! Prerna tells him furiously that now he cant live with all of them and she tells him to leave the house and that she doesnt want him in front of her eyes ever.

Prem looks angrily at Mukti and leaves. Prerna goes away sadly. Rishabh also goes to the guests to bid them goodbye. Prerna goes to the window of her room and sees Prem walk away from the door. She is sad and cries.
The Guptas bid Rishabh and family goodbye and leave. Sharad and Sneha leave. Rishabh sees Prerna's manager (other) come there. Rishabh asks him what happened. The manager tells him that he wants to talk to Prerna only. Rishabh tells him that she is inside.

Prerna comes down the stairs and asks the manager what work he had. The manager tells her something and she is shocked. Rishabh is bidding goodbye to the Basus when he sees Prerna go away with the manager. Rishabh and the Basus follow her.

Prerna is walking towards Prem's grave when she remembers that she had told Anurag that one fine day, Prem himself will build up the grave himself. Prerna's eyes fill with tears as she finds the whole grave and Prem Ashram being built up beautifully. Prerna breaks down. Anurag sees the whole thing and asks him how this happened. The manager told him that he received a cheque from Prem and he did all this. Everybody's shocked!
That's it!

KZK update for 20 Jan-

The Manager tells Anurag and everybody that all this was done by Prem. The Manager tells him that Prem wanted this work over in two days and all this was done under his sole supervision and that he used to stay here for long hours just to see how the work was going on. Lastly the manager tells them that Prem alloted 20 lakhs to the renovation of this place. Rishabh is happy to hear this and looks at Prerna,who is equally shocked and wonders what to do. Mukti feels bad for her behaviour and remembers when she yelled on Prem and told him that he will never improve and he is not worth any trust that his parents show on him.

Prerna wonders where Prem will be.

Prem is at Karan's place having a cuppa beer with him. Karan asks him that if he had been here with him, he would never have to face everything like this. Karan is frustrated and asks him how he managed to live in that house for such a long time after all! Prem laughs at him but doesnt answer. Karan tells him to stay with him. Prem is about to respond when Karan tells him that Mukti is here. Prem is annoyed and tells Mukti to go away. He tells her that he has nothing to do with her and he has even left the house for her and now he doesnt want her buzzing in front of her. He asks her to get lost. Mukti apologises. Prem cant beleive his ears and asks Karan to pinch him to check whether he's dreaming or not. Mukti again repeats her apologies to Prem and tells him that they all were mistaken and it was wrong on their part to misbehave with him and drive him out of the house.

Mukti tells Prem that Prerna is wating for him to come back home. Prem taunts her again and asks her to go home. Mukti feels bad and goes outside where Rishabh,Prerna and Anurag are waiting for her. Prerna asks Mukti what happened and whether Prem is coming home/not. Mukti tells them that Prem doesnt want to come home. All of them are shocked. Anurag is unhappy with his decision and goes to talk to him when Prerna stops him.-
Prerna- Like mother, like son. I am egoistic and so is my son. I am self-respecting and so is my son. He will not come back on anybody's calling. I will get my son back home. You all please go home and wait for us.
Rishabh tries to talk to her but Prerna tells him to listen to her and go home and wait as she will be back with Prem soon.

Karan pours out another drink for Prem and tells him that he will be back after meeting his parents. Karan sees Prerna and becomes angry. He asks Prem as to why he has his family following him everywhere. Karan leaves in anger. Prem is frustrated to see her here but settles down with his drink. Prerna goes up to him and hangs her head in shame. Prem tells her that she needs to get out of this place in 5 minutes because this is his house and he can also kick people out of places that belong to him-

Prerna- I know why you say all this to me. I know you say all this because you enjoy seeing me in pain. You enjoy and feel happiness in my sadness. Do you not feel out for your mother? Do you not feel bad when I stutter and cry in front of you and tell you to improve yourself? If you dont feel bad, then why did you re-build Prem's grave in the first place. Why do you shy from telling me that you have improved? You never told me a thing and I drove you out of the house in my anger. Do you feel ashamed to tell of your good side?

Prerna starts crying. Prem offesr her some tissue papers-
Prerna- Are you feeling bad to see your mother cry?

Prem- No! It's just that I cant see anybody cry. It suffocates me!

Prerna- Why dont you own up? Why dont you realise that my life is nothing without you. I lost you 20 years ago and when I got you back,you were not my Prem! You had transformed into UD. The person I slapped in my house was UD and the person I am here to claim and take back home is my Prem..come home with me son. Your whole family is waiting for you because they all know that Prem is coming back..come back home Son..come back:)

Prerna holds him and is steering him to the door when Prem holds still and takes his hand away from her. Prerna is heartbroken and is leaving sadly when Prem calls out for his 'mother India' and tells her to stop. Prem asks her to wipe her tears first. Prem explains that as she cannot change herself, even he cant change himself and she should not expect him to. Prem promises that he will try never to hurt anybody henceforth. He agrees to come home if Prerna promises never to hit him, beat him or drive him back out of the house again. Prerna promises him and hugs him tight. A song is played on the mother and the son.


Prem returns home and everybody is happy. Anurag goes to him and hugs him happily. Rishabh goes and pats his back proudly. Prem proceeds towards Mukti and she looks at him with his newly-acquired respect.
Everybody's happy.

Anurag goes home and tells Sam that Prem has come back home and Prerna has won. Anurag hugs her tight w/o realising that the whole family is watching them. Anurag asks Sam why she isnt responding and Sam tells him that the whole family is watching them. Anurag sheepishly breaks the hug and blushes. Indro comments that Anurag and Sam are blushing like teenagers;)

Prem is working on a late-night project on his laptop. Prerna comes to his room and tells him to go to sleep and complete the project tomorrow. Prem tells her that he never leaves any task pending and whatever he does he does it 100%. He works hard and parties equally hard.
Prerna is happy and wishes him good night and leaves. While she is going she remembers a scene between her and Anurag when Anurag was late and was telling her that he was caught in some work. Prerna had told him that she was not angry with him because she maintained that if Anurag gave 100% to his work he would be able to give 100% dedication to her too. Prerna looks back and imagines Anurag sitting with Prem and giving her a thumbs-up.

The next day, Mukti is going to the bus stop when Prem offers her a lift. Mukti declines and starts her explanation

but Prem is in no mood to listen and drives away. Mukti is shocked!

Sneha and Sharad are getting ready for a presentation when Sharad tells her to hurry up and get ready. Sneha tells him to have a good breakfast as it is very necessary for a good day to preceed. Kamini, Sharad's mom asks Sneha whether it's necessary for her to go to work. Sneha tells her that it's not out of necessity that she's working but she's really passionate about it. Sneha tells them that Rishabh always used to say that one should always stand on one's feet and be self-sufficient. Kamini tells her to stay back as she has some really important people over for lunch. Sneha agrees and Sharad is forced to do the presentation alone.

Prem and Mukti are slated to go to the same presentation but Mukti misplaces the presentation file. Prem tells Mukti to come with him as his man- Mr.Verma will take care of everything at the presentation. Prem leaves. Mukti is worried.

KZK update for 23 Jan-
Prem,Mukti and Sharad reach the venue for the presentation and take their respective seats. Prem and Mukti sit at one table while Sharad sits at another. The announcer comes to the podium and announces that their company is US-based and will award the contract purely on the basis of the presentations which will be shortly carried out. Prem is cool wheras Mukti is tensed as she has lost the file.

Sharad is invited to do his presentation. Sharad presents on behalf of his and Sneha's company- Atlantic.com. Everybody is impressed. It is Prem and Mukti's turn now. Mukti is all worked up but Prem gives her a thumbs-up and asks her to chill and proceed for the presentation. Mukti goes to the podium. On her way up, Sharad wishes her best luck. Mukti introduces their company- Speed.com but is unable to carry on further and breaks into a sweat. Prem notices that quickly and takes over the mike from her. He goes to the podium with his laptop and conducts the presentation. Everybody including Mukti is impressed with the presentation.

After all the presentations are done, Mukti and Prem go out for a break. Mukti is surprised with Prem's behaviour and asks him if he really did the whole presentation. Prem tells her that he had been working the whole night on this single presentation. Mukti is very impressed and tells him that it was really very good and she's very happy. Prem mocks at her with fun and tells her that if "the" Mukti has praised his work, then it really has to be very good.Mukti smiles at him but is almost instantly reminded of the time Prem mis-behaved with her playing a track along with Karan. She remembers his cruel words when he said that she will never be able to forget this incident and she will never fall in love again. Mukti appears to be hurt.


Prem notices that and tells her that he knows she is extremely hurt and apologises to her again. Prem tells her that he had indeed apologised to her earlier but the time was wrong. That time, everyone was thinking that he apologised to her because he needed to stay in his house. Prem tells her that NOW is the right time to apologise to her and he says sorry to her again. He advises her to forget the past and he is really looking forward to start his relations with her afresh. Mukti smiles and so does Prem. Just then, Sharad comes over and ushers them inside the hall for the presentation results.

The announcer takes to the podium again and congratulates all the companies for participating in the presentations and tells them that all the presentations were good but there was one which stood out. He congratulates Prem for his presentation and awards the contract to Speed.com Mukti and Prem are enthralle. Sharad goes and congratulates them and tells Prem to come over with him to his house for a cuppa coffee. Prem tells him that he has to go somewhere else. Sharad mocks at him and tells him that he will arrange for beer too. They all laugh. Sharad goes ahead and tells Prem to come soon. Prem looks at Mukti, goes to her and then asks her if she needs an 'invitation' to come along with them. Mukti laughs again and they leave for Sharad's house.

At Sharad's house, Kamini (his mom) is entertaining her socialite friends at home and also some of her best friends. She introduces Sneha to all her friends and her friends are all-praises for Sneha and remark on her grace and beauty. Sneha thanks them all. One of Kamini's friends gifts Sneha a beautiful necklace. Kamini is with her best friend and she is teasing her how she goes on and on about her gossip. Her friend tells her that she has heard that Sneha is the daughter of the business tycoon, Rishabh Bajaj but she has also heard that Sneha is not really Rishabh's daughter but infact daughter of Anurag and Prerna!

Kamini is shocked to hear all this and asks her best friend not to take up such things right now. Her friend tells her that the whole city knows about all this but no-one dares to tell this to her straight. Kamini is totally shell-shocked. Her friend continues and tells her that if she was in her place, she would have never accepted Sneha as her daughter-in-law. Kamini is just too shocked. Her friend tells her that she is shocked that Kamini went ahead with her decision even after knowing the truth.

Sneha interferes in between and tells Kamini's friend, Radha that this is exactly where lays the difference between her and Kamini. Sneha tells them that her family has never kept anybody in the dark and has always had the courage to accept the truth and also the courage to tell the truth to everybody. Sneha asks Radha whether she can dare to tell anybody that her daughter ran away just one day prior to her marriage. Everybody is shocked to hear the revelation. Radha is furious and asks Kamini to tell Sneha to behave. Sneha does not budge. She tells Radha that what she was just talking about her dad and all, that really doesnt matter.Sneha tells her that she is extremely proud of her parents.She tells them all that Rishabh never ever let her feel that she was not his daughter and has always loved and trusted her much much more than a daughter. She highlights all the sacrifices Anurag made for her just so that she should not go through any problems.

Radha cant take it anymore and asks Kamini if she had called her over to get insulted like this! Radha breaks her friendship with her and starts leaving. Sneha is asked to apologise to Radha. Sneha is shocked and asks her why she's being asked to apologise when she did nothing wrong. Sneha stresses that she is a daughter and she will not bear anybody bad-mouthing her parents like this. Kamini forces her to apologise when Sneha again rebels.
"Say sorry, Sneha" a voice booms across the room. Everybody is taken aback.

It's Prem, Mukti and Sharad at the door. Prem again repeats himself and tells Sneha to apologise to Radha. Prem goes towards Sneha and tells her that it doesnt matter if she apologise.

In the second part,
Aparna gets bail from jail and comes to the Bajaj house. She enters and is confronted by Prerna. Prerna is shocked to see her. Aparna has a box of sweets in her hand. She moves towards Prerna and tells her to have the sweets as she is very happy today. Prerna tells her that she doesnt need any of her sweets and is very well aware that she can never be happy for a good reason and will soon attack her and her family. Prerna asks her why she's here. Aparna smirks at her and tells her that she is here to share her victory with her. Prerna tells her to stop the rubbish and come to the point. Aparna tells her that she was here only to meet UD. Prerna tells her that nobody named UD lives with her anymore.

Prerna tells her that the person who lives with her is her son Prem and UD is no more. Prerna continues and tells her that when she challenged her, she challenged a mother.Prerna tells her that God was with her because she was right and he will continue to be on her side only. Aparna tells her that she should not rest on her laurels and that she will be back with a vengeance. Prerna asks her why she wants to meet Prem. Aparna is surprised and she asks her not to get so insecure about her son because he is not a toddler that she will kidnap him again. Aparna tells her that she has full right to meet Prem because she brought him up all these years.

Prerna tells her to try her luck and tells her that she is waiting to see just how Prem kicks her out of the house. Aparna smirks at her and proceeds to Prem's room. Prem is getting ready for a party and putting up his suit when he sees Aparna in his mirror. Aparna calls out for him as her son. Prem is disgusted to see her and goes to her in anger and tells her that she should not call anybody her son because she's just not worth it! Prem tells her to adress him as Prem and not her son. Aparna makes a false face and tells him that whatever she said that day was all her anger and she never meant to hurt him. Prem corrects her and tells her that it is in anger that a man always blurts out the truth and that day she spoke all the truth due to her frustration. Prem tells her that he is disgusted to know that she was with him all the years so that she could 'use' him in her hatred towards his parents. Aparna tries explaining but Prem tells her to buzz off as he is not interested in talking to her.Aparna tells her that she may leave him but she will not spare the people of the Bajaj family.Prem turns to her in anger and warns her that if she does any wrong he will have to kill her. Aparna doesnt budge. Prem tells her that he himself will leave the place if she's not going.

He goes to the door. Prerna is there at the door. Prem calls Birju kaka and tells him to drive Aparna out of the house. Prem tells Prerna that he's leaving for the party. Prerna wishes him happiness. Prem leaves. Prerna tells Birju not to do anything to Aparna. Prerna goes to Aparna and tells her that she must have got her answer till now that Prem hates her to the core and that she will not be able to do anything to her family.Prerna tells her that if she repeats such a act, then she will do the thing for which she was trapped in jail. Prerna tells her that she can actually kill her and then tell everyone that she did all this in self-defence. Prerna laughs evil-ly at her. Aparna is crestfallen and leaves. Prerna is happy.

Prem and Mukti go to the party where the company head announces Prem's winning the contract to the press. everybody applauds Prem for the effort. The announcer calls Prem up to the podium to speak a few words for the media. Prem goes to the podium and thanks everyone associated with the project. He tells everyone that his real name is not UD. Prem continues and declares that his real name is Prem Prerna Sharma. Mukti is very happy. Prerna who is watching the live telecast of the thing is moved to tears in front of her TV set. Prem continues and tells that people are known by their dad's name but this is not the case with him and he's proud that he's known by his mother's name.

Anurag and Sam are also watching the live telecast and both of them are very happy for Prem and his family.Anurag tells Sam that he' s so happy that he wants nothing more. Sam is shocked and asks him if he really doesnt want anything. Anurag looks at her happily and tells her that he's got so much from life that he doesnt want anything. He tells her that Prem has improved, he's finally acknowledged his family, Sneha's happily married and everyone's happy so what more could he want-

Sam- And what about me??
Anurag- You are always there with me. I have counted you in na!
Sam - AB, you are always taking me for granted. When you are sad, you tell me that you have nobody in the whole wide world and when you are happy, you give me such a long list but it never has me! I think you will forget me in times of your happiness!
Anurag- The day I forget you Sam,I'll forget how to live life.

Sam and Anurag look at each other and hug happily.
Prem finishes his speech and comes down the podium. He and Mukti shake hands and she congratulates her. The DJ starts some peppy music. Prem asks Mukti if she wants to dance and Mukti refuses. Prem spots a cute girl and goes to dance with her. Prem is enjoying the dance when the company head comes to Mukti and asks her to have some drinks and make herself comfortable. Mukti tells him that she's perfectly OK. The head tells her that he will tell her why Prem got that contract. The head tells her that all of Prem's girlfriends were his night-escorts each and everytime he won a contract. Mukti is horrified and that head tries to get cosy with her. Mukti tells him to shut up and yells at him. Prem notices the ruckus and stops dancing.

Aparna is scheming more of her plans and tells Prerna in her mind not to celebrate for her long because she's going to attack at a time when she will never expect it.

KZK update for 25 January-
Mukti shouts at the announcer and tells him not to do it again or he'll pay for it. Mukti looks at Prem angrily and leaves. Prem notices all the happening and goes to the announcer and asks him what happened. The announcer reminds him that whenever he dealt with Prem, his secretary at that time was always his escort for the night but this time he has not been able to satisfy his need for an escort girl and that Mukti has downright insulted him. Prem looks at him coolly and goes outside.

Mukti is furious and walks towards the car angrily. She is unable to open the car and hits the car in frustration. Prem comes from behind and hangs the keys in front of her face and tells her that a car needs to be opened by a key. Mukti is furious and tells him to shut up. Mukti tells him that she has now realized how he built up this 500 million dollar company of his. Mukti tells him that she has got to know of all his supposed dealings and transactions between the announcer and himself. Prem tries explaining but Mukti does not give him a damn. Mukti continues and tells him that he's sick and Prerna made a big mistake by keeping his name Prem as he doesn't have the minutest of regards for love and compassion. Prem is frustrated and tells Mukti that all businessmen have to make certain compromises for their business to thrive. Prem tells him that the setting he had with the announcer was before, and that he did not indulge in all this. Prem assures Mukti that such crap was not included in his contract and he never forced a girl to escort the announcer, Mr.Verma. Prem tells her that whatever he did, he did it in front of everyone and he has no explanations to offer to her. Mukti is still mad at him. Prem tells her to wait and watch.

Prem drags Mukti by her hand into the party hall. Mukti tries freeing her arm but he holds on tight. Prem and Mukti reach the hall. Prem goes to Mr.Verma. Verma tells him that he was sure Prem would not let him down. Prem tells him to go and apologize to Mukti. Verma is shocked and tells him that he never touched Mukti. Prem tells him that he has insulted Mukti and he needs to go and apologize to her. Verma is angry and tells Prem that he is not going to apologize to somebody like Mukti. Prem is angry.He slaps Verma. He takes the contract file and tears the contract paper. He declares in front of everyone that now on, there will not be any dealings in between Mr.Verma and Speed.com. Prem reveals in front of everyone the dealings Verma used to do in favor of the contracts. Everybody is shocked. The CEO of the company comes and tells Verma that he's disgusted by what he has just come to know. He fires Verma then and there. Verma tells Prem that he will get revenge from him and leaves. Mukti is touched by Prem's gesture and they both leave the party.

Indro is going towards Aparna's house when he sees Aparna waiting for someone outside her house. Indro hides behind the bushes and spies on her. A car approaches Aparna and the driver lowers the window. Aparna thanks the person for helping her out and joining forces with her against the Basus. She tells the person that their enemies are the same- Anurag and Prerna and this time they will not spare them. Indro is shocked to hear all this. Aparna sits in the same car and the car speeds off. Indro immediately calls Anurag and tells him everything. Indro tells him that he will follow the car and report back to him. Anurag tells everything to Sam. Sam tells him not to get tensed up.

Indro calls Anurag to the place he followed the car to. Anurag and Sam reach there along with the police. Indro tells Anurag that he was unable to follow the car but he followed Aparna to this hotel. Anurag is tense. The Officer suggests that they interrogate Aparna. All of them reach the hotel counter and get Aparna's room number. They enter the room to find it all emptied up just before they came. Anurag is frustrated. On the mirror, there's a message written with lipstick which threatens Anurag that he will never be able to find her and he's in grave danger this time along as she's back to take revenge. The Officer tells them that they will catch Aparna soon. Anurag tells Sam to take care that nobody from his family should go out of the house alone. He calls Prerna and tells her not to go out alone and to enquire about Prem and Mukti and tell them to return at once.

Mukti goes to the car. Prem follows. Mukti asks Prem why he tore the contract. Prem tells her that he did it for her. Mukti tells him that she's sure he can never do such a thing for her. Prem laughs and tells her that he did it all so that she doesn't go back home and complain to Prerna. They both laugh and Prem tells Mukti to sit in the car. Prerna calls Prem and tells them to return home. Prem tells Prerna that the deal has been cancelled and he will reveal more once they get home. Mukti and Prem are driving home when Prem drives too fast over some stones and their tyre gets punctured. They are stranded on a lonely road at the dead of the night.

Anurag and Sam reach home. Sam goes insides. Anurag sees Aparna sitting on his swing in the garden. He is shocked.
